Ive just started getting into watching this. Whats the difference between gt3 and gt4? Why do they race together?
GT3s are more powerful and have more sophisticated aero with more downforce than GT4s. GT4s are less expensive to buy and run. GT racing has a long history of different classes of cars racing against each other. Adds an extra challenge for everyone and means you're constantly having to pass and be passed.
Gt3 has a little in common with the street cars they are based on

David Addison is a treasure, man.
No one is going to broadcast a race with no commentary, if you want to hear the engines get to one of the races in person.
The #93 McLaren was live-streaming its onboard camera during the races, if onboards are your jam.
No Porsche?
Porsche's haven't been popular in British GT since the death of GT2, really.
The Porsche doesn't suit any of the British Circuits other than Silverstone.
If you want Porsche watch the Carrera Cup, no shortage of them there.
There was one cayman orange and green
No Ferrari's either, which is a bit odd considering they're as common as Mercedes' pretty much everywhere else.
Plenty of McLarens though, which aren't as common internationally
