I'm always thrilled to see a new S&W revolver without that ugly internal lock hole. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. The new sights, the enclosed backstrap boot grips, factory chamfering, and the 32 H&R Magnum chambering to allow for six shots in a J-frame are absolutely delightful features. I really hope these catch on!
I would LOVE to see a 3 inch 327 Federal Magnum with these same exact upgrades with a shrouded or exposed hammer! That might be the ultimate do-it-all revolver; carry, hiking, and kit gun.
I understand Lipsey's has an exclusive LCRX that fits that bill, but man they're hard to come by.
Got one, and love it. Plan on buying a second as a backup.
Also have a Model 60.
I carry a 432 PD, and I plan to upgrade soon!
I still think the PC Model 19 Carry Comps are the pinnacle of carry revolvers... I might like to see one with a titanium alloy cylinder and bobbed hammer. Just slightly lighter moving parts, like the 242 or 386 PD L frames or the 315 Night Guard K frame. Keep the steel frame and port to soak up the recoil. 357 hits hard like a 10mm, but with higher sectional density.
Do you think S&W will consider this revolver in 327 Fed. Mag?
This is literally a pistol that has ALL the upgrades you could want, from the factory!
What an awesome job you guys have done.
You are to be congratulated for doing what S & W should have done years ago. I have a blued 32 H & R Mag on order. I hope that the fit and finish is at the level I expect and you intend it to be
Would love to see these in 32 H&R or 32 long
Did you watch the video?
I always wanted an m&p 340. Never found one in stock
Gunbroker website or have your local shop order it. They are available. $900
I have had a SW performance center 442, for over ten years. These are made for "close " personal protection. Dressing it up won't make them work better. It's been 100% reliable at the range on targets 15 feet away. Hit center mass every time with sights from factory. They are not cheap, But will last my lifetime.
This is way more than "dressed up".
LIPSEY'S , how about a 3inch model 637. Or get s&w to remake there model 12 .... I really like these new carry models with sights !! Well done!!
To me the iconic S&W revolver is the K frame, M10, 13, 19 or 66. But that’s me, I prefer 6 shots.
I. NEED. THIS!!!!
