Please continue to commission cool stuff like this, Lipsey's. The G17 Gen 1 reissue was great. An optics ready USP by LTT was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
I am a USP 45 fan I recently got the USP 45 Expert and the Langdon would be a very nice addition to my collection. I really like that Lipsey's is working with Manufactures and Custom shops to bring out interesting guns that Shooters like myself are interested in getting like the Gen 1 Glock 17 which I added to my collection back at the end of February after about long wait since they were coming in batches from Austria.
Love it! Carried one religiously for years 15+ years ago, still own it and still hands down the most reliable pistol I’ve ever owned! There’s never been anything else that I have ever had the same confidence in. Dusty, dirty, muddy, wet, dry, never had a malfunction! Good to see it getting some love, mine sits in the safe because it’s just outdated and all my modern pistols just have too many advantages to carry it anymore. Big one being optics. Wish the rail wasn’t proprietary either!
USP LEM trigger made the DA/SA V1 obsolete. Install the LEM kit (use the light trigger return spring) with a Grey Guns SRT kit and you have an amazing shooter that is smooth, with a crisp short reset. It maintains double action Principles and functions buy greatly improves the shoot ability.
They need to update the USP, needs at least 14 rounds .45ACP, better rail, better trigger, ambi safety with decocker, and optics ready, also a compact model too. Love me some .45ACP
Great video! I’m wondering if LT would do some work on a HK45T. Definitely would love to let them give it a try on mine. Optics cut would be awesome too for my old eyes.
Might pick up one of the fullsize USP9s when they're offered, somewhat disappointed LTT didn't apply the same glossy slide finish they used on their P30s.
About time someone got the HK up to par with my Sig 227. Low irons (XS low suppressor sights) ✅ upgraded DA/SA (grey guns dual adj trigger, sig armor strut, AC smooth action kit) ✅ milled for RDS ✅. Just missing 14 round mags threaded barrel griffin cam lok extremely short rest (3/32") but getting closer.
Great idea, I want one. Not a fan of putting the logo on the left side of the slide. Would've preferred it on the top of the slide behind the ejection port to maintain the clean slide appearance.
They (LTT) aren’t in the business of making frames, they are in the business of tastefully modifying/upgrading firearms. GG&G has a solution for the rail issue.
Those are clunky and nobody carries it unloaded, build quality is superb, good duty or military sidearm, good cold weather gun fo gloves.I would take it over any polymer gun for duty.
I’d like to see good DA/SA shooters compete against others shooting a striker gun - both from concealment to showcase the potential or lack thereof of the DA/SA - I’m not a fan of. Sometime ago, I really tried to like the DA/SA concept and shot my M9A3 (the best DA/SA semi-auto trigger in my collection). I constantly got smoked by those running a stock Glock, M&P etc. Now, at distance, slow fire where I could draw and cock, I took the lead. Fast forward to the last few months, I shot nearly 3k rds out of my XTEN, and it’s the smoothest striker trigger I have. It’s noticeably better than my NIB XTEN. I’m a decent shooter, but during defensive shooting drills, I haven’t seen anyone out shoot a striker gun (both shooters of equal ability… not Jerry M shooting against a new shooter, lol)
I used to think the same thing. Won my local USPSA match last week with my LTT RDO W/SRO (32 people in Carry Optics div.). Lots of guys tearing it up with CZ's too. You just have to train that double action shot. Before the last 2 years all I shot were Glocks and 1911's to avoid the double action. Shooting USPSA since 98.
The world needs a Gen 2 USP.
No we don’t

The negotiations were short, master
That is a rugged 45 with great refinement.
Agree!
I get the feeling my bank account is about to take a major hit. I love the USP series of pistols. Very cool!
That is very cool! Can’t wait to get my hands on one. Thank you very much for sharing it with us.

You can never have enough HK’s! They are built beautifully and beast of handgun. If I can find one these LT version will definitively get one👍
HKs
Might need to send my old usp in for an update.
I wonder if that is an option. If so, I am all in!

This is awesome. Please include a threaded barrel.
Just got mine in. Nice. Just trying to decide on the optic

Love me some .45ACP
HK makes a +6 extension you can get for the 12 rd mags. Turns it into 18 rd mag, and they work !
The hk usp45 is a tank a classic it has everything you need an nothing you don't
The king of pistols has returned.
Have multiple Langdons. Can’t say enough good things about them, including the LTT P30. If I were in the market for a 45 this would be it

Would like to see a front-sight Tritium option please.

Got mine ordered, and it will be here in 3 days. I'm trying to decide on the SRO or 508t. Already have the p30 with an Acro p2.

I'm sure the trigger work is just some polished up points.

I love my USP 45 but I always wished they made a 10mm version as well.
Someone on ARFCOM converted a usp 40 to a 10mm if I remember right
Loving this Lipseys, keep it up!
I must have one!
Gonna offer a USP 9 threaded and RDO version?
Holy sh** this will be awesome
I have 3. I will send them all in!!! take my money!!
so how much would it be to give LTT my HK USP45 to trick it out? Please tell me its like less than 1k
The Culture must standardize the metal magwell
Damn… I want one.
Yo homie! That my briefcase?
My favorite movie
So hype
Do they cerokote the entire slide or just the milled area to protect the bare metal?
The entire slide.
Is it still available to order? And how much is it?
Awesome.
I could not find the USP on their website
Same here
Should be up shortly
Any plans for us Mk23 owners?
I cant wait
FINALLY!!
Where can I get one!!!!!!!!!!!!!
www.lipseys.com/dealerfinder
The only bad thing is it still has that stupid rail with no support underneath.
Turn down the music, nothing positive to it.
$600? I can buy new USP from gunbroker for around $600. Price ?
Yeah!
Well crap. I'll have to get one of these now.
Now, Mark 23 LTT please
I used to think the USP trigger was sub-par until I picked up SIGP320. That things trigger is an abomination especially for a striker fire
460 rowland usp
so they didnt address the most jacked up thing about the usp???? the trash rail????

@@RobbDzzz your right, but come on ltt
andddddddddd sold
Just bought one, excited for it to get here
they have the match trigger which is a big improvement. And these guns are too pretty to cut the slide up lol
Those are clunky and nobody carries it unloaded, build quality is superb, good duty or military sidearm, good cold weather gun fo gloves.I would take it over any polymer gun for duty.
He should have included a plate cover for the optic mount. I bet that hurt sales.
They'll sell every one made to someone who wants the gun specifically to mount an optic on it. The demand will top the supply on these.

Still no modern light rail? Get real HK
I did not need to watch this. Now I’m trying really hard to not buy one. Ugh shame on you guys
Sorry guys but thats a really ugly gun 😢
1600 for a collector piece is too rich for my blood. Hopefully they just do the work aftermarket at LTT, used 45 USPs can be had for $700 easy
