So glad to see someone talk about how guns shoot some ammo better than others. I always try different ammo before carrying so it shoots where I want it to

Also could you compare M&P 9mm gen 1 vs 2.0?

What’s the most accurate sub $1000 dollar pistol that has been clamped up?

While group size is important, so too is the location of the group in relation to the aiming point. Your testing seemed to be quite haphazard with respect to the latter: targets were all over the place, and no record was kept of where the ammunition grouped relative to point of aim.

Thank you for your comment. May note we keep a record of POI vs. POA. I don't think most of that info is relevant to you. Like all guns and ammo, you must do this test yourself. Each barrel is different; your weapon may not like the same ammo. POI will be different for you, as your rifling may start or stop in different spots, and your sight location is different. Therefore, your gun will absolutely test differently. This video shows why you need a Ransom Rest, how to use a Ransom Rest, and what you may reasonably expect out of your gun off-hand. We don't sell or specialize in videos. We are the original American Rifle and Pistol Rest company. We are the ones who invented and designed the tri-leg Rifle benchrest Rifle Master and the handgun testing machine. This video is to encourage you to get a Ransom Rest. The right and only way to test.

I really wish you had posted a chart with the ammo results.

Where would you like us to post this chart at the beginning or the end? And question #2: what info would you like in the chart? Best group or ammo we used?

@Ransomrest if not an editing nightmare, the end would suffice.
Load, ranges, and group sizes would be helpful in choosing ammo for this particular firearm. Hopefully, the demand for them is so high that S&W will begin to produce them regularly.

@@TheGunnyBadger03xx Thank you for your comment and hopefully you gave the video a thumbs up. so the good news is if you watch the video, it already has a chart with Ammo specs, group size and ammo load data for the handloads we used. These charts are at the end of the video. Also, If you watch the video, we try hard to mention what ammo for each group before we shoot it, and we tried to also call out ammo when we measured the group. Hope that helps. please like and follow us for more.

@@Ransomrest Embarrassingly enough, it appears I stopped the video a few seconds before you ended it and I now see the charts. I did watch the video and did remember seeing and hearing the info. Thank you for bringing the chart to my attention. Thumbs up for sure!

@@TheGunnyBadger03xx No problem, easy to miss and in perspective. I suppose we could have made it more visible or evident. We will continue to post chart data and do our best to improve the info given; we appreciate your input and value your comments. Please keep commenting. We appreciate it. And this improves our videos.
