Garden Buffet is without doubt the best deal in LV. Only problem is that it is a LONG way down LV Blvd, probably, at least, 5 miles south of the Mandalay Bay on LV Blvd, so it is not easy to get to unless you have a car.

Garden Buffet is terrible I really really wish that they brought back the Green Valley Ranch Buffet and the M buffet those were my favorites but I’m pretty sure those are resting in peace.
Good selection... Love the Southpoint seafood buffet day... The line is hellish due to their popularity though. You'd think some other casino would copy them (or try to out do them) given their popularity... It's not like they have a unique formula... in fact it's right out of the '90s playbook when casinos catered to their customers... instead of following 'chefy' trends (which nobody really cares about)... hint hint.. Ditto for the asian/chinatown buffets... except they follow the 80's playbook... good food and lots of it! FK the celebrity chefs (who aint never been there to cook, let alone cook 'your' food anyway!!!)... Only thing you need to review now are some of the ethnic buffets (korean, japanese, persian, etc etc...)...
The South Point still gets it. The still try to cater to their customers. Eventually, the crazy spending that is taking place will come to an end and the hotels will have no choice, but to cater to their customers.

Lived in Vegas for 40 years, watched Vegas go from being a great adult playground in the 80s and early 90s, to "Disney in the desert" when the corporations were first starting their takeover trying to make Vegas a family destination. To full corporate takeover, what we used to give away just to get you in the door, you now have to get their club card so they can track your play, minimum buy in to get a " free" drink at a machine is 20.00...the buffets shown are good, but the prices you paid before corporate greed would have been free at the casinos and way less in Chinatown.
Do not go to imperial seafood, it was terrible. You only get a few pieces of lobster that are not cracked in covered in a thick messy brown sauce, there were zero crab legs!
I know they only have crab legs on the weekends. They do cook the lobster in a thick sauce. When we were there, they only gave us 3 pieces of lobster each time we went up to the counter. We made several trips to the counter. 😂
@@ExploreVegas good to know about the crab legs, all the food I tried yesterday was not good and had a film over it bc it was sitting out for a while, dessert was extremely stale as well.

--South Point Garden Buffet is OK. I like the Friday night seafood also. Little bit pricy $39 (with players card) but it worth it. --Makino. I DO NOT recommend it. They have cab leg but its limit to only one 1/4 rack (3 claw) and they raise the price to $45 --Imperial Sushi, I DO NOT recommend it. They limit and serve your lobsters and crab leg one trip (3 pieces) at a time and they only have it available for every 30 mins. For $43, if you missed their serving window then its not worth it. --Rampart Market Place is so so.. typical American style buffet --Krazy Buffet. Yes recommended. Their price is cheap, For $17+ you get seafood: fish, crayfish, shrimp, squid, crab and oyster with no limit serving yourself and all other panda express style Asian dishes and Sushi.
I agree with her comments! Don’t go to imperial buffet waste $$ and time! I waited 30mins and did not get a piece of lobster! And I have to stay in line for another 30 mins

I be in Vegas on May 23rd tell May 28. I plan on coming to a buffet. The 5th one is cheap and looks good. Got majority of everything.
The Krazy buffet was pretty decent. It’s not super fancy like the strip buffets, but they have a lot of good seafood. It’s a good value.

Garden Buffet is terrible I really really wish that they brought back the Green Valley Ranch Buffet and the M buffet those were my favorites but I’m pretty sure those are resting in peace.

Good selection... Love the Southpoint seafood buffet day... The line is hellish due to their popularity though. You'd think some other casino would copy them (or try to out do them) given their popularity... It's not like they have a unique formula... in fact it's right out of the '90s playbook when casinos catered to their customers... instead of following 'chefy' trends (which nobody really cares about)... hint hint.. Ditto for the asian/chinatown buffets... except they follow the 80's playbook... good food and lots of it! FK the celebrity chefs (who aint never been there to cook, let alone cook 'your' food anyway!!!)... Only thing you need to review now are some of the ethnic buffets (korean, japanese, persian, etc etc...)...
The South Point still gets it. The still try to cater to their customers. Eventually, the crazy spending that is taking place will come to an end and the hotels will have no choice, but to cater to their customers.

Lived in Vegas for 40 years, watched Vegas go from being a great adult playground in the 80s and early 90s, to "Disney in the desert" when the corporations were first starting their takeover trying to make Vegas a family destination. To full corporate takeover, what we used to give away just to get you in the door, you now have to get their club card so they can track your play, minimum buy in to get a " free" drink at a machine is 20.00...the buffets shown are good, but the prices you paid before corporate greed would have been free at the casinos and way less in Chinatown.
I miss the days when you taken care of you played. Now you get almost nothing.

Do not go to imperial seafood, it was terrible. You only get a few pieces of lobster that are not cracked in covered in a thick messy brown sauce, there were zero crab legs!
I know they only have crab legs on the weekends. They do cook the lobster in a thick sauce. When we were there, they only gave us 3 pieces of lobster each time we went up to the counter. We made several trips to the counter. 😂

--South Point Garden Buffet is OK. I like the Friday night seafood also. Little bit pricy $39 (with players card) but it worth it.
--Makino. I DO NOT recommend it. They have cab leg but its limit to only one 1/4 rack (3 claw) and they raise the price to $45
--Imperial Sushi, I DO NOT recommend it. They limit and serve your lobsters and crab leg one trip (3 pieces) at a time and they only have it available for every 30 mins. For $43, if you missed their serving window then its not worth it.
--Rampart Market Place is so so.. typical American style buffet
--Krazy Buffet. Yes recommended. Their price is cheap, For $17+ you get seafood: fish, crayfish, shrimp, squid, crab and oyster with no limit serving yourself and all other panda express style Asian dishes and Sushi.
I’m sorry to hear the crab legs are limited at Makino now. I really liked the crab legs there.

The best time is dinner time for sure.
The night price is something $45...not sure the quality is there to justify the price. Their maki sushi is very ho-hum over the last few months.
