Before I started YouTubing, I probably went here about once every month or two and absolutely crushed the Cantonese lobster. With all the food reviews, I've only been back here once at the beginning of the year with my folks while they were visiting and I remembered how much I missed it. Still such a great buffet though. I didn't know they changed ownership, but having lobster tails only is AMAZING! I gotta make my way back again sometime soon. Seeing your video totally made me want to go eat here ASAP. Another great video!

Thank you brother! We found they made a lot of nice improvements. Definitely the lobster. The sushi is way better than it was. The restaurant was very clean. A nice place to eat for sure. I think you’ll notice and enjoy the differences.

I am also not a big seafood fan, but would try most things shown based on how clean it all looked. The sushi is where I think it's done right. One singular roll put out instead of a sheet pan that sits all day and it dries out. If a roll starts to look unappetizing, it's far cheaper for the store to replace one than a whole tray. People that like quality food will wait for a new one to be made.

Imperial Buffet!!!The freshest seafood buffet and of course the SUSHI BAR, SASHIMI, LOBSTER, OYSTERS,Dungeness crab, noodles, beef and broccoli my favorite, WOW. Love the dessert bar as well!!!
Couple years ago, I made the mistake of taking a couple of friends to Todai's buffet on the Strip. We waited in line for an hour and I treated our group at $45 per person. They even told me they didn't care for sushi. I thought they would love this place once they tried it. Nope, they had pizza and chicken. Oh, well, never needed them as friends anyways. 😄
I imagine that this buffet will be very crowded after this video! Such a great selection of seafood and a very reasonable price. Makes me want to leave the Strip to eat. 😊
Love how attentive they are helping with the crab legs and the fish. Your sushi plate looked fresh and coloful. Mrs explore vegas presented her food well as always.
I'd pig out at this buffet! I'm a huge seafood girl but once again I draw the line at chicken toes! I just can't do it lol! And I love Mrs. Explore Vegas' almost childlike innocence and happiness in eating good food! She makes me smile every time.

Went there for the first time today for my moms 71st bday and we loved it! Both my brothers and father 5 of us 3 adults 2 seniors came out w 4 sodas and hot tea $240 tax included, some of our favs was lobster of course fried d. crab legs sushi rolls surf clam scallops dragon roll all were wonderful! I didn’t get to try everything cause we were stuffed but will b back soon. Highly recommend to try!
What a marvelous looking buffet. Here in Wisconsin, the price of the buffet you paid would get you less than 2 small lobster tails alone😢. This had everything 😊. I'll be watching this over and over. @@juthamasstern6865 it was ok. Wasn't a fan of the tiny lobster tails. It was good value for the money. They only offered cold crab. I was hoping for warm with butter and very little in the way of desserts but for the price we were ok. Service was good, place was clean.

17:34 - haha, OMG! im just sitting here watching and i perked up when you talked about how they often use swai fish to fake as other more expensive fish and as you know, that is my pet peeve and boom!! its as if you saw through my ipad right at me and were talking directly to me! and you were in fact talking TO ME. 😂. and I agree with you, that is not swai as its too big, and meaty. swai is darn good eatin’ but you seem to have the real deal there (sea bass) but im not 100% sure on it being sea bass, so i will take your word for it. most of our local asian places have a similar fish on the buffet and it also looks like that.., omg, im going to have to show this to my hubby when he gets home from work tomorrow.. he just went to bed or i would drag him out and show him now, lol

Absolutely beautiful spreads. I personally don’t like seafoods but this is definitely a place to checkout. The good thing I’ve noticed there are other nice dishes besides seafoods for people like me. I’ll definitely try this out next time going to Vegas.
Imperial sushi takes 10mins to refill their food tray. 20 minutes for their premium seafood. It's absolutely crazy. I guess that's how they save money. You'll have 30 people waiting for 2 seafood trays, and it takes so long for them to bring it out, and then, once its out, its gone. I waited 1 whole hour for roasted duck. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here. So many people were complaining.
This comment is interesting to me. We reviewed another Asian buffet like this one and they refill the lobster often, but no one serves it to you. A few folks were upset saying they should have someone serve it.

I just visited this buffet on my latest trip to Vegas, but I have mixed feelings about it. The thing that was most disappointing to me was that most of the food I tried was cold or barely warm. They need a better system to keep the food hot. They just have it under lamps, but that's not enough to keep it hot or even warm. It was $102 for two people, so I don't know if I can justify the price. Most likely, I won't be returning or recomming this buffet to friends or family.
@Explore Vegas I was there on Wednesday of last week. I stayed at the Palms, and that night was lobster night at the AYCE buffet but the wait was 3 hours long so ended up going to Imperial instead after watching your video.
1) Nice that they take care of military personnel with a discount. 2) I may be open to going back now with the new ownership. I previously came here and was disappointed. Came for the lobster and previously just got mostly shells served to me with a tidbit of meat. At least now, it's all lobster tail.
Try to remind her when we’re out filming and she hasn’t tried any food on camera. I always show her comments like this to remind her how she’s needed it n the videos. ☺️

I just visited this buffet on my latest trip to Vegas, but I have mixed feelings about it. The thing that was most disappointing to me was that most of the food I tried was cold or barely warm. They need a better system to keep the food hot. They just have it under lamps, but that's not enough to keep it hot or even warm. It was $102 for two people, so I don't know if I can justify the price. Most likely, I won't be returning or recomming this buffet to friends or family.
Not that this makes a poor experience acceptable, but wondering what day of the week and time you visited?
@Explore Vegas I was there on Wednesday of last week. I stayed at the Palms, and that night was lobster night at the AYCE buffet but the wait was 3 hours long so ended up going to Imperial instead after watching your video.

1) Nice that they take care of military personnel with a discount. 2) I may be open to going back now with the new ownership. I previously came here and was disappointed. Came for the lobster and previously just got mostly shells served to me with a tidbit of meat. At least now, it's all lobster tail.
We had a similar experience before. We got sone claws, but they also gave us legs. This time it was way better with tails.
I'd love to try everything on the buffet...except the chicken feet. Mainly I'd park myself in front of the oysters.
Can’t say I’d blame you on the chicken feet. Mrs. EV has had it, but I won’t touch it. The oysters were yummy!
