Thoughts on Bellagio brunch buffet? Would you eat here?
I stopped eating the Bellagio buffet about 10 years ago. I felt that the quality and offerings [as many here have said], are not worth the $$ they want.

Have been going there forever, I go to the bar and always tip very nicely
Not for $55. For $55 I would want everything to be really good.
Other than the desserts, nothing seemed all that special for the price. For the extra couple bucks, Wynn is far superior.
We've been going to this buffet since it opened in 1998 (we were there 2 months after Bellagio opened). They used to have breakfast set up with 2 omelet stations and breakfast dishes on either side of the buffet. However, in the last few years (esp after COVID) this once wonderful buffet has been taken down several notches by the MGM bean-counters. The room is unchanged since 1998...they had a golden opportunity while they were closed to revamp the space but chose not to. The food has taken a nosedive and this buffet is trying to slide by on its name. Such a shame...it was once the finest but that title now belongs to Wynn.
For the money is not worth it for me
Literally every single MGM buffet has gone to shit sadly. I guess still good they are open unline Caesars closed everything but the bacchanal

Thanks for that review. We just ate there last week, on our yearly trip to Vegas, and you're right, not worth it at $55. But we had a 2 for 1 My Vegas reward that made it a very good value.

Ate there a few weeks ago and thought it was not as good as in December. Thankfully, we use My Vegas slots buy one, get one so it is doable money wise. If you get a burger etc anywhere, it'll cost you $20 plus for one so you might as well get a selection.
Thank you for an excellent review. We used to go to the Bellagio buffet but also noticed it wasn’t as good as it used to be. Then when they went to removing the servers and having to get your own drinks and coffee that was enough for us to stop going there.

If I were traveling to Las Vegas I would bing watch on Travel Ruby for what to include and avoid in lodging, gambling and especially food. Hands down the best at what she does, all delivered in a witty, delightful and professional manner. “ Let’s give it a shot!” Priceless.

I would look at what she's eating more and make your own judgement. Usually she has been full of sh@t in her reviews

How many Vegas points do you need for that? I've been playing for our trip at the end of July but all the rewards seem meh.

10 years ago it was super good the last 3 years really drop in quality and service. It’s just really hard to pass up with my Vegas rewards BOGO… overall good review thanks for all you and Mr Ruby do!

I was there in May of 2022. I thought the buffet was nicely laid out but the quality was meh for the price. The made to order omelettes were the best thing there!
I could never eat $55 worth of food that early in the day. It would take me hours.

They are not selling the food merely offering food while you enjoy your seat in that space. You are paying for the space.
you should try. Eat one time for the whole day. Save $$$$

go to Palms AYCE buffet on a wed or thurs, all you can eat lobster and crab. must make reservations.

Thank You for your honest opinion on the Buffet. I feel it was a $34.99 Buffet. I understand the price of food has gone through the roof. I would still pay the full price just for one time. I would explore other Buffets to find one that really made a difference in my selection.
My wife has worked at the Bellagio for years, and we have gotten a few freebies over that time for best employee, good deed awards, etc. And while most of it was always decent, it was never anything I would have been happy to pay for. Most of it always seemed like they set up shop to get the tourist dollars that come through the doors, and not much else. But from what I have heard, fifteen to twenty years back, everything was much, much better.

I tried the Bellagio buffet pre-pandemic and as far as I and my entire family were concerned it was not worth price even then. From what you have shown I most definitely will NEVER be paying $55.00 for a brunch buffet!

You are, IMO, the BEST reviewer on social media. I think every other reviewer on social media needs to watch, listen, and learn from you and Mr. Ruby how to film and edit the perfect review. You get right to the point without needless chitchat or personal information that has little or nothing to do with the establishment or the review; you take small, manageable bites, and then give great descriptions and opinions of what you've tried, without rambling on and on. You also edit out and/or don't include the extra minute or two that it may take you to chew, so we're not left watching long, uncomfortable, silent pauses while you chew a huge bite of food. And to me, this next part is less about on-screen etiquette and just about having decent table manners in general, but you don't typically talk with your mouth full or while you are still chewing, you don't open your mouth while chewing, and you don't sit there with food all over your face while you're giving your critique. All of the things I've mentioned above are things I see SO many other YT reviewers do on a regular basis. I appreciate that I don't have to fast-forward through your videos like I do with just about everyone else, just to get past all the parts that should have been edited out. Thank you for being such a professional!

My two favourites at the Bellagio Buffet are the grilled vegetables by the Carving Station and the made to order crepes (with whipped cream etc) by the Dessert Station.
Thanks. I'll definitely check this out next time. Last week when I was in Vegas, I tried three local spots for breakfast: Vickie's Diner, Black Bear Diner, and Polaris St. Cafe. All good & inexpensive breakfast options, but at least once during the week I like to try something upscale as well.

Vegas buffets are not what they used to be. I've lived here since I've been 3 years old. Buffets were a fun thing and reasonably priced but now most of the casinos have taken out the buffets and the ones that are around are very expensive. Now we just go to buffets for special occasions like a birthday or mother's Day. They are so expensive it's like a treat rather than just going out and having fun anytime you want to. $55 is just too much money for breakfast. The hotels are greedy.
Bellagio’s buffet is wonderful. What always stands out in my mind’s eye is the gorgeous & delicious dessert display 🤩
Travel Ruby, these breakfast buffets look pretty outstanding for someone that does not go to buffets much at all. I don’t know if I’d adventure to things like chicken fried steak or the gravy items yet from what I’ve seen in the past from buffets, these latest videos look good.
I was there earlier this week and liked it. The Turkey and the Pork Vais were my faves!

Bellagio hands down for lunch and dinner always had the best pasta options so many to chose from. Best they had this ziti with sun dried tomatoes in a tomato cream sauce with salmon. Excellent. They use to have the calzones too like 5 kinds so good. The cornish hens too were really good with this sauce. My vegas comps would Have such good meals there sit at the bar inside was such a nice area personal service. right by the buffet tvs and everything.
I miss #1 the monte carlos breakfast and brunch buffet. Was the best on the strip. So much the pick from everything was so good. the mexican breakfast station was my favorite. Huge breakfast burritos, breakfast quesadillas, tacos. They had the healthier option station too was so good. Spinach tomato mozzarella eggwhite scramble, turkey bacon, chicken sausage. The rest of the meats so good. One of the best steak and eggs ever you can have the ones they had out or they had cook to your liking. Such good desserts. Mid week with ur mlife discount was 17 bucks. How can you beat that? big choice of drinks the nicest staff from cashier to inside. tables always clean and cleared. Was clean inside nice decor and set up. I miss this place so much. Went last trip 2 months before they closed.
I miss #2 the golden nuggets breakfast and brunch buffet. So good also very reasonable. Had the nicest Dining room and awesome view overlooking the pool complex. Nicest staff fast tables always cleared ur drink never not filled. The best steak n eggs. The best cheese blintzes and caramel apple ones. Best made to order omlette's. The meats so good. Lunch items too good choices. The subs the panini's, the pastas, the best orange chicken and potsticker's. The sushi was actually really decent the veggie and spicy california rolls were very good. The desserts were good but standout was the gelato station.
I miss #3 sams towns breakfast buffet was so cheap and massive. Best sausage potatoes and so many kinds of egg choices. The meats so good. The best thing there lunch wise was the asian station. The thai wings, the bbq pork, the portugeuse sausage was awesome. The made to order burgers the sweets all excellent. Plus nicest staff nicest dining areas with the fireplaces. Nice bar with good drinks so cheap.
back in the day flamingos brunch was the best but it kept going downhill every time. which was a shame was a nice place with the best view of the habitat

Ruby I am not sure you will see this but I 'll try anyway. If you already know just bear with me. There is a wonderful record store in Las Vegas with two locations, one on Rainbow Blvd, the other on Flamingo & Eastern.
They are the kind of places I grew up with as a young man ( I am almost70 ), but one rarely finds these days. The store is call Zia they have records, dvds, cds, books, music oriented T shirts, posters, video games, all sorts of nik naks. They buy from the general public so much of their stuff is vintage.
I was there today Rainbow location closer to home, it occurred to me this could be a story for you to produce, outside of the normal hotel, restaurant, stuff. In fact there are other record places like that in town, nothing like Zia but perhaps you can do a project about these sort of things, a flash from the past. Just a thought. 😊
Ruby! Loving your outfit and hairstyle in this video - perfection! The buffet looks great - but I would use one of the My Vegas rewards, couldn't see myself paying full price. I'd rather use some of my dining dollars for that amount on a full service meal.

My point is, are people really satisfied if they pig out on crab legs and prime rib, just because it costs more? I don't think that eating some bread or other carbs is going to ruin somebody's buffet.

55 bucks per person sounds pretty reasonable to me. My problem is that I simply cannot consume that much food at one time. So buffets are wasted on me

Close to a decade ago I did the lunch buffet there, and including an unlimited drink package (wine, beer, mimosas, margaritas, bloody marys) all in was $40. Enjoyed the buffet and enjoyed my 4 margaritas and 4 Bloody Mary's, meaning my per drink cast was $5 - WINNING!!
We were at the bellagio last year. Agree with your review - nothing great - but good. The desserts were good - but is the WI State Fair Cream puff still supreme? LOL

Can I leave with a to go box? Looks great, but I'd be worried not getting the 55$ out of it from just getting full. THere is a reason the Dennys has a line out the door on the on strip lol.
I never eat oysters in months that have no "r". The warm months are higher in bacteria.

We have the buffet every time we are in Vegas because we always stay at Bellagio. In December and February the buffet was very disappointing. Last month we had it on a Friday afternoon, and although it was much better, the price was crazy! $150 for 2. Thank goodness it was comped!

My favorite breakfast spot has always been Hash House❤I love The Bellagio but I am not paying $55.00 for their buffet 🙅🏾♀️I'll be back in Vegas in September and will do my traditional breakfast at Hash House❤

I was looking for a buffet for my mom and i in late july but with the prices we just made a reservation for ocean prime brunch. May as well be in a beautiful place and be served after the prices rise above $50 a person for brunch.

We always enjoy the Bellagio buffet. I can agree it used to be better, but if you have an appetite and consider the cost of eating on the strip it’s not that bad of a deal. Like others, we almost always have the 2 for 1. I was happy to see they brought back seafood night.

We went in March and had the 2-for-1 coupon, so that brought the price down. The offerings and taste were good, although I don't think we had the option of some of the items you tried. The desserts were fantastic but I don't know that I'd go back at full price.

We eat at Bellagio's buffet every trip but take advantage of comps else it's pricey. Would love to see your thoughts on Wicked since Cosmo coming into the MGM family soon.
They are already accepting mgm card. I at at wicked spoon 2 weeks ago and charged it to my room @bellagio. Much beter buffet than bellagio.

The cheap buffets were “loss leaders” to get you out of bed early, or get you so filled up with food that you didn’t want to leave the casino. The corporations that run Vegas today want *everything* to turn a profit...that’s why most other buffets have simply disappeared.
