      Joseph Fraser There is a playlist on my channel called My Business Approach that has a little bit about that kind of thing. I don’t do a great deal of advertising as such apart from flyers and local directories. My social media and UA-cam does bring in a bit of work. I must do a video about that.😃👍🏼

      When using water fed pole, and there is a pane of glass above another, you need to make sure you clean the frame between those two panes of glass and thoroughly rinse the area also on the way down.😃👍🏼

    • @aemackintosh

    • @aemackintosh

    • @aemackintosh

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 роки тому +1

      tony adams Good idea. The lower half could dry out by the time you get to it if you wet all 3, I guess that’s why I just did the tops. But if your applicator is wet enough then yeah, go for it! Or just do one whole large pane at a time?😃👍🏼

    Why do you wash 1/2 of windows first (@ 2.25)???
    It was an overcast day so I would have DRENCHED ALL of 2 or 3 of those windows at once with water. Using my 24 inch squeegee, I'd start at the top and go ALL THE WAY DOWN in one motion. Bend at the knees!. That window on the right would have been cleaned with a quick 2 passes in less than 10 seconds and then wiped down around the edges.
    SORBO ROCKS!

    • @aemackintosh

      David James You need 2-3 short sharp drags down to pick up all the soap at the top so you don’t leave streaks down the glass. I did a video on straight pulls that might help you. I will put a link to it in the description here.😃👍🏼

      Don Mayleone You can pick up the basics in a couple of days, easy. A couple of weeks and you should really be starting to pick up the pace. But it could take you a few months to really get efficient at doing things to a high standard quickly. It will depend on each individual person though.😃👍🏼

      A.E.Mackintosh Cleaning Services thanks for the swift reply. So if I wanted to start would you recommend getting some experience working for a company first. Or is it something you can pick up by practicing on your own windows then going out on your own. I’m talking about traditional method here 👍

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 роки тому

      Yeah, get some practice at home until you are confident enough, then go for it. Straight pulls is the easiest way to start using a squeegee, then more on to putting some turns in as you grow in confidence. There are more tips on technique on my channel.😃👍🏼
