Just insured my van mate for pressure washing and it's costing me 80 quid a month, my pressure washing set up was 2.3k and the van was 4k, probably another 300 for other bits and pieces, doing my first 2 jobs this weekend 300 each one so not a bad start
Lovely to see this young man so enthused. After much investigation and learning I did my first drive today. Admittedly it was a big drive - I’m shattered ! Wondering if I have made a mistake - brick paver drive but big gaps between and the surface cleaner (15 Lpm) didn’t do it satisfactorily- had to turbo nozzle everywhere and then go over with surface. -8.5 hrs non stop. Amazed how much fuel is used- Hand vibration- wet feet 😂- have I made a terrible mistake?!?! Not being a mood hoover - it was a sunny day and life is good
Sounds like a tough job. I know what those days feel like. I think you would find that a 21 litres per minute machine would make a massive difference on a job like that.😉👍🏼
great video might want to tell him to keep an eye on tank water level think he said it 60litre and with him useing 21lpm that will be empty in 3min i know he filling up as he useing it but some water pressure at house can be really low and if the pump goes with out water it will be damaged
what a great set up very impressed, how much did all the kit cost as Im starting a window cleaning and guttering business i have a van and a water tank, so any ideas would be great. thank you.🍻

I sometimes get terrible kickback that nearly breaks my wrist when I pull the Powerwasher chord. I leave the ballvalve at the lance open all the way but still this happens and I’m nearly now afraid to pull that darn chord. Any ideas ? I don’t have any lance or gun at the end of the hose in the hope that no pressure can build up and I always release pressure before I pull.. Ps lovely van set up.
Great setup. Good to see a young lad starting up on his own. Wish him all the luck in the future.. I`ll be sure to be checking out your online training...
@@aidanmarten9764 yeh definitely takes longer to get the gear and I'll just have to travel over and get the van kitted out. I'm from the UK so I'll see the family at the same time 🤣🤣
Where can you purchase the extra pressure washing hose. I like the idea of a lighter hose whilst roof cleaning “hyper therma plastic?” Is that correct , could I get a link please
Hi, interesting video. I have a question. How does a 60 litre buffer tank work on a 21 lpm pump if the garden hose connection only runs at less than 10lpm? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
You are always feeding the buffer tank with water whilst you’re working, so it will depend how good the tap pressure is, but the level is likely to gradually drop while using the pressure washer, then you may have to stop and let it fill up again.
@aemackintosh thanks. I've been looking at a 12lpm 3000psi petrol from jet mac which I think would suit our occasional use needs. I was planning to get a half size ibc for our remote driveway site jobs so was interested by how small that tank is. There's a balance to be made between having the ability to connect a hose and the ability for remote working. I think this model we're looking at will be a good step up from the karcher pro electric unit we used to have.
Great set up! Can you help with a question please ? Can I use a soft wash surfactant on a tarmac tennis court? Can you please recommend a product? Thank you!
Excellent video 👌 Has your son got a booster pump when filling up? Sounds like a long fill time. I have a 500 litre ro/di and the booster pump pushes water through the system at 6 bar. System takes 3 hours to fill.

I totally agree I started 30 years ago next month started off on my bike over here in Dublin.
Good luck owen
He’s doing well!🤩👍🏼
Fair play t' lad
fair play to the lad. comes across a likeable fella...he'll do well!
That's a fantastic setup! Getting an affordable van these days is the toughest part.
Yeah the prices for vans is crazy!😬
Very driven young man. Best of luck to him in his work and life. Nice to see you giving him the time and the exposure.
Hopefully helping to inspire the next generation.😉👍🏼
HE REMINDS ME OF ME IN MY 20'S STARTING MY CLEANING BUSINESS
He has done so well for his age.👍🏼
You NEED to get Owen on the podcast, it would help so many people including myself
He was on the podcast! Episode 3.13.👍🏼
There’s loads more help in my training courses too.😉👍🏼
Would be interesting to see the cost for the van, the full set up, business insurance etc etc the full package. Great video and great set up

He got some great help from the people at Billericay Cleaning Supplies and Rutland Pumps to bring it all together.👍🏼
Impressive young man and good to see. All the best to him!

It would be great to hear from Owen again, hows the new setup going?
Great van setup. Really cool 👍

I have a Transit Custom & would love some ideas to fit something like that in mine soon. Looks great. I'm in Southampton
Sounds great. At Billericay Cleaning Supplies they can help you with a custom setup to suit your needs.😉👍🏼

Great set up, but I'm guessing the van is close to being or over weight with a 450 tank and additional equipment?
Yeah, it’s within its payload when fully loaded.👍🏼
Passing the torch on to the new generation !!
Yes. It’s great to share my experience to help others.👍🏼

Thermoplastic hose. I get my kit from Rutland Pumps.
How much did you pay for the jetwasing setup

Hi, is the 60 liter buffer tank enough for most pressure washing jobs? Thanks for a great video
Depends on the pressure from the tap.
Great set up! Can you help with a question please ? Can I use a soft wash surfactant on a tarmac tennis court? Can you please recommend a product? Thank you!
Don’t use a bleach product like Sodium Hypochlorite, but you could use a DDAC or BAC50 product. GK Pro or Algoclear 👍🏼
Can I ask how much that costs to get that set up?
This is a custom setup, but if you get in touch with Billericay Cleaning Supplies they can help you out.😉👍🏼
Great setup, but can't help but wonder if it's overloaded with all that water capacity.
I think Owen has checked the payload capacity and tried to work out the weight of what he’s carrying.👍🏼
Well done bro’s 👍
Thanks!🤩👍🏼
Best of luck 🎉 🇮🇪👍
What is the cost of having a gx390 mounted on skid like that? Cheers
great video guys, where did you buy the Buffer tank from? tried to find one on Amazon but can't for 50 litres... thank you in advance
Rutland Pumps helped Owen with that part of the build and they supplied the tank.

Get in touch with Billericay Cleaning Supplies who can help you with a bespoke setup.👍🏼
That 60 liter tank is that for the pressure washer and is it big enough for 21 lpm machine
Yeah, it’s a bit on the small side really, depending on the tap pressure. Biggest one that would fit though along with everything else.
@@aemackintosh yeah mate cracking set up looks top notch if 9t works for you then spot on
Do you help people living in The Republic Of Ireland ?
Yes, I have online training courses that can help:

Сколько будет стоить? С установкой.
Great set up
Twin doors would been better 10:26
Yeah, in an ideal world, but sometimes you have to make do with what you have I suppose.
450l tank and all this gear... I think it's a killer on suspension especially after regular driving on a12 or m25 heheheeh
I think he is getting close to the maximum payload.
He is going to run out of water every 3 minutes. The water tank is way too small.
It fills as he is working, so if there is good tap pressure then it should last.
Nice ! How many liters is the buffer tank? I got a similar setup with 500ltrs tank and it’s huge 😢 taking half the space of the van 🚐
60 litres
