Ive watched pretty much all your vids u must have more equipment then a warehouse 😅 ! But good on u youve done well and good success on your business. Ive picked up loads of good ideas 💡 from listening to you. Thank you
@aemackintosh I noticed one thing all the equipment you use and in which you've explained how to use them and how effective it is. Let's talk about chemicals you use and how efficient they are
Yeah. Good ole window cleaning. Great stuff. Those power lines on one job were making me nervous, just watching you! Be careful Ash. Great squeegee technique. So ka ka cold looking. We're sweltering in a cooking pot down here in NZ. High 20's to 30 degrees.
Beautiful area you live in mate. A day in the life of a window cleaner. I do long days Monday Tuesday. Then rest of week back to normal.......ish. Normally high-rise. Would love to have all the different brush heads. Maybe that's something for me to target this year. Great video tho.
I'm surprised you had so much trad in one area. Great to see more of your day. Why don't you use a flocked brush on all windows that way you wouldn't lose time switching?
Need some advice mate Been using univalve for 2 month now currently using gardiners pole and brush head Using 50 per cent fan jets but finding water is blasting out for to quick even when flow controller is turned down Used green and black pencil capsules but water has no strong flow when working But do find best to use
Yeah, I’ve always found fan jets a bit of a waste of water. I like the xline brush that has a rinse bar through the middle, but I’m currently developing my own brush and jet setup.😜👍🏼
@@aemackintosh Fair enough..definitely heavier 👍 I’ve bought quite few from Window Cleaning Stuff website they are like £5 each which is awesome, especially compared to the nearly £30 ones from gardiner :S
Have you not been busy doing roof scrapes this year so far? I’ve even managed to film 3 driveway cleans to upload but the winds been that bad the camera was on the floor a lot haha
What is the chemical that you use on your water fed pole brush for the first clean at the house at the canal and do you just do more of a rinse off with pure water to stop any contamination marks?
Thanks for watching! We use pure water which dries without leaving any residue. Windows cleaned this way will stay cleaner for longer than methods used with traditional detergents.😉👍🏼
@@aemackintosh The fairy softens mine, got skin like wet paper 😂 Thanks for the reply Ash ! best window cleaning channel on UA-cam in my opinion some absolute gems of knowledge on here, glad to see you’re making a £note off the courses now. All the best mate 👍🫡
Hi mate great video once again. Do you have any recommendations on where to buy leads for gutter cleaning jobs. Any tips would be appreciated as I'm just starting out. Kind regards Mo
@@aemackintosh Thanks for getting back to me. Bark seems so competitive, Facebook I'm finding it difficult for admins to accept my post. I'm thinking about leafleting door to door. Is that something you have done in the past?
Different things can work for different people in different areas. There’s tons of different methods explained in my Sales & Marketing course, including a canvassing script.😜👍🏼 www.aemackintosh-onlinetraining.com/courses/marketing-techniques
Did you end up doing that getsoapy job for 25 pounds? Seems awfully cheap just for that quick glance we can get of the home, I counted at least 10 windows!
I don’t understand all the window cleaners that seem to think a window cleaner should be 100% WFP or 100% trad, Ridiculous, I do both, & probably always will, Over 35yrs in the game so far..
Nice! There will always be a market, and applications for both methods. There are quite a few window cleaners out there now that try to avoid Trad like the plague.😆 They don’t make them like they used to eh!😜👍🏼
I have now put all my best videos and information into my courses to help others in business:

Great work again Ashley. Love to see all the different window cleaning technics shown.
Keep up the good work 👍🏻

What a long day but it looks like you did good for all of those customers . I hope you got more that one cup of tea on that chilly day.
Thanks. Yeah I usually get more tea on this round, but on this occasion more of the customers were out so I didn’t end up getting as much tea.🤷🏻♂️
Nice work method mix, Trad and WFP. Surprising how many cannot do both.
A wider range of skills leads to a wider range of jobs.😃👍🏼
Christmas lights...? In February.....? Might as well leave em up til next time 😄
I know!😆 They’ve actually been there since last year!🤦🏻♂️👎🏼
Nice work Ashley Nice to see you doing some traditional work 👍
Thanks!😜👍🏼
Another great day of window cleaning 👍
It’s great at this time of year now the days are starting to get longer.😎👍🏼

Thanks. They were just telephone cables and not power lines. But it’s good to be cautious.😉👍🏼
Nice to see the daily graft 💪🏻

Thanks! I hope you find it useful.😃👍🏼
I hope this was filmed a while ago and they've not still got christmas lights up in feb 😂
Great video - glad the lead brought you in more work!
It was filmed only last week! The Xmas lights have been there since last year!😆
I’m not a window cleaner, really enjoy your channel 👍🏻
Great! Glad you like it. Thanks for watching!😎👍🏼
I wasn't when I subscribed. I am now and loving it.
Great video Ashley
Thanks!😎👍🏼

Flocked bristles won’t remove stubborn dirt as easily.

Hiya..nice scenery for sure :D Why don’t you like to use a rinse-bar anymore? 😢 i got the nlite based on your review and love it.. :)
It wore out on the corners and it’s difficult to get a replacement. Also I find the pole a bit heavy and awkward to use.
@@aemackintosh Fair enough..definitely heavier 👍 I’ve bought quite few from Window Cleaning Stuff website they are like £5 each which is awesome, especially compared to the nearly £30 ones from gardiner :S

Not done many roof cleans recently, but I’ve booked in quite a few for the next couple of months.😃👍🏼

Yeah I use a upvc cleaner or TFR if it’s really bad. Make sure you rinse well.👍🏼
Great video! Is that the Sorbo viper squeegee that is hung up in your van cab? Do you know where I can get one in the UK?
Yes, it was sent to me from USA. Don’t think you can get them in the UK. You could try DA Components.👍🏼
Do you window clean alone?
Sometimes, but I also have someone working with me a day or two a week.👍🏼
Where did you get your new workwear from? I need some new apparel desperately but want some quality ones like yours 👍

Hi is get soapy uk based or does it also have maps and currency for other countries? I live in/ work in Norway. Cheers.
This is a possibility, but it’s a feature that will be added later.
ok you work hard 👏
😜👍🏼
What size are all the Ramsey A frames you have on the van mate
I currently use a 2.5 meter single A frame and a 3.5 meter double.👍🏼
Ashley what's the solution you spray onto your brush?
Hi Tom. I usually use a TFR, or a upvc cleaner is more gentle, but it depends on how dirty it is I suppose.👍🏼
@@aemackintosh thanks Ashley 😊
What about them Gutters by the first house ? 🙂
Yeah, they could do with a clean. I was thinking that when I made the video.😆👍🏼
I’m a newbie to your channel. Interesting stuff. How do the high windows get dried? Do you use some type of Rainx solution or something?
Thanks for watching! We use pure water which dries without leaving any residue. Windows cleaned this way will stay cleaner for longer than methods used with traditional detergents.😉👍🏼
Hi Ashley
What brush is that please?
I can’t find it listed on the xline website
It’s a DuPont bristle brush, but I’ve adapted this one with my own jets.😜👍🏼
Let’s slay this day 😂😂😂
Yeah baby!😜👍🏼
Hi how much did the polefed system use in your dawn to dusk video
what did you spray on the brush when cleaning the new house you went to from get soapy thanks?
Upvc cleaning solution.👍🏼
How do you work without gloves 😮
Quality work though 👍🏻
My hands have hardened up over the years, but I still wear gloves sometimes.👍🏼

You could try Bark, or local Facebook groups can work well.

hi Ashey what is solution you spray on to your brush to clean windows - i do alot of first cleans thanks
Upvc cleaner usually or TFR if it’s really bad.👍🏼
Whats the reason you use sometime osmose and sometime the classic way ?
Depends on the type of window usually.
from where ca i get the machine < the unger nlite
Window cleaning warehouse
Why do you do traditional still ??? It slows the whole job down
Not when you’ve got skills!😜👍🏼
Did you end up doing that getsoapy job for 25 pounds? Seems awfully cheap just for that quick glance we can get of the home, I counted at least 10 windows!
The house was semi detached, so it only included half of what you could see there.😜👍🏼
