I noticed that when I used silpat silicon mat, the cookie doesn't spread and it bakes evenly as compared to using baking paper, it spreads abit but not too much since I left the cookies to chill for 15mins in the refrigerator. The milk powder enhances the flavor of the cookies, tastes very nice. Mildly sweet. I used 1 tbsp of vanilla extract, now the whole house smells amazing. As for the baking time, mine took abit longer, I think about 20mins . I followed the first step , 180°C for 5mins then lowered to 170°C , baked for another 15mins. It turned out really well. Hi I used this recipes in today. i changed a little something. i used salted butter in 200 gram, 1 whole egg, flour in 320 gram (i don’t have corn flour), I used isolate whey protein powder in 20 gram(i don’t have milk powder) i used monk fruit sweetener in 100 gram(i used mixer machine into powder), 1/2 tsp for vanilla essenc and mix over as the same. the recipe not liquid enough to be squeezed out. I used a press into the mold instead. The result is satisfying, just the right amount of sweetness and smells great. Thank you for recipes. ❤

If I wanted to make these for a bridal shower and add some edible sprinkles (shiny ball sprinkles) in the center of the flower would I put them on before baking and would they burn or would the color bleed onto the cookies?

I don't know where I went wrong. The cookies remained soft even after baking for extra time. I will tell you what I did I used the exact measurements. I used Swerve instead of icing sugar. The dough became so dry that I could not squeeze the bag for the cookies. I used the exact big nozzle. Since I could not squeeze the dough out I added a little milk . They came out fine. I put the trays in the freezer to cool down like you said. But the cookies didn't turn crispy. They were safe. Please tell me what was wrong. I will appreciate a response so that I will rectify I make it the next time. Thank you.

The idea to use the scraper to move the batter down the bag is brilliant!
Another tip: put the bag in a tall glass to hold it upright when you are putting batter into the bag. Much easier.

面粉太多了,虽然怀疑还是照着食谱做,结果挤爆两个挤花袋,烤出来的饼干没有预期中的牛油香味,也没入口即化,该是干料成分太高了。脆是很脆,就是不够香和酥。感觉比较适合用cookie cutter, 不适合用挤花袋。

I want to think that it is corn starch and not corn flour used.
其實這配方麵粉比例還好,只是奶油要打發到蓬鬆,麵粉要拌勻久一點
面粉不多啊,250g黄油,270g面粉,基本上是1:1的比例,没有问题。应该是你的室温太低,或者挤花袋太薄了。
