I can't believe our justice system today. So, long story short, don't defend yourself at all. Unreal!!
The fact that the judge would not allow a different venue and for the case to be tried in the same small town that this happened speaks volumes. They planned to crucify Mr. Miu.
Damn. I feel horrible for him. Its sad what happened but those kids pushed and pushed.
This outcome was appalling. I just assumed Mr. Miu was guilty in the beginning . But watching the videos throughout this trial reveal the truth of what actually happened that day was a shock. Those teenagers were rude, mouthy bullies, and I would lay down money that this was hardly their first go round at it, either. And how did so many underage children have such easy access to alcohol, and who were their mentors, that they should have such a dismal handle on even the most basic level of dignity or manners? Sadly, these teens heaped the coals of retribution on their own heads.
He needs to appeal this because they started it all. I mean, the way that they were ganging up on this man was unbelievable

I just saw the video taken by those kids. Well, those kids can't be called innocent. Who knows if he doesn't defense himself like that, he mightbe the one who died at there. Both side has their own wrong. But 20 years is not fair.
