It's funny the first time but, having actually tried to play this map online back in the day, it is definitely the worst part of the map. Virtually impossible to get four randos to stand still

The coolest part, to me, about Shangri la is the fact you can do the Easter egg multiple times in one. While it's long and tedious to do, there were players who did it 4 times so everyone could get all 7 perks permanently. Even though Moon came out right after Shang making that task much easier for players it's really cool the dedicated players had the option to go for it on Shang.

DE was a cool map one of my fav maps but is not as beautiful as Shang. DE was just a blue map. Shang was an actual jungle or forest map. It was solid

This map is nostalgic af for me. My brother had bo1 which got me into CoD, this is the only DLC he had.
It’s crazy how these video layouts on his talk points are the same layout I learned in English 1 class with have a thesis and then come in with ur first statement and then stuff to back up that statement. Without being said this is a very enjoyable series. Well done

The Easter egg in shang or any other map that requires 4 people are almost impossible anymore unless u have 3 other friends that own either bo1,bo2, or bo3 depending on what map your on and each game are 6-12 years old at this point which sucks and crazy to think about the fact that these 4 player Easter eggs are basically now rendered non playable

It was fun in BO1 because of PHD Flopper and mustang and sally combo but the BO3 remaster is just a bit too difficult however I still love this map and it’s honestly the most beautiful map to date with an awesome atmosphere.
You can still do that combo in bo3 tho

A common trend with most maps, the most beautiful ones are the hardest and the ugliest ones are the easiest (to some extent)

I loved Shanghai when it came out and it’s still probably in my top 10 but I can very easily see how people would hate this. I put it in the same category as Five. You almost NEED a full squad of 4 people to play and camp. That’s when I had my best times on those maps. Solo is also somewhat doable on both but you’re gonna have a rough time.
If you still play shangrila I’m down to play, I hate playing it solo but it really is such a good underrated map

Shangri-La is the best map in Black Ops 1 because of the loading music. And also, this map was known as Secret Achievement in Tag Der Toten.🔥🔥🔥

I remember playing it when it was new with a second player and it wasn't that hard. We got wayy up there in levels and were pretty good and have a hell lot of fun once you got your loop down

My 1st attempt at Shang, I died on Round 1 defending a window. So I kept going getting further and further through it and after a total of 7 games I love it

Shang is so amazing! Top 3 map for me easily. Aesthetics, theme, JGB is such a fun WW, difficult. What’s not to love? Such a masterpiece. Wish more people realized how much of a work of art this map is. 💯

Shangri-la was the first big easter egg I ever completed way back when it first came out. Definitely had some issues with it but it's still pretty high on my list. Great retrospective!!

While most people hated it, this has always been my favourite map of all. I just loved how it looked and the easter egg just blew my mind.

Best map ever. Pure chaos and one of the very few maps where you make a "last stand" and see how far you can make it. Plus it's soooo beautiful

Lau Vilumsen Lex died on round 4 on shi no numa. If you watched his streams he is trying to get to round 100 on every bo3 and went into his leaderboard. His last map was shi no at round 4
Shang is the perfect example of a map that is terrible for casuals but great for hardcores
Shangri La is one of my favorite maps of all time, as a seasoned solo player, this map is simply perfect for my playstyle.
