Food companies have vastly underestimated the anger and motivation they create against them when someone suffers late stage metabolic disease. And its not just the individual, their entire family sees the suffering and starts asking, "how did this happen". This young man likely saw their mum, dad or someone else in the family suffer and be told, "eat less, move more"
And most of their families don't care enough to really do anything because they've enabled the behavior.
One thing this bard got right was the "It's you're own fault you're so fat" part

Nah. I am all for personal responsibility because it is the only way out, once you have the correct information. The fact is, however, that the nutrition industry has been feeding us bought and paid for lies, subverted government offices, and yes engineered food to addict us at the cost of our health. So no, it is not all your fault. Further, shame is generally counter-productive. Once you know the truth, then yes, it is up to you to save your own life. Part of that journey is letting go of all the addicted people who are still spreading the lies.

missed the point of the song. if you were eating single whole food ingredients. even with carbs. you would have never gotten that fat. how fat can someone get on eggs milk cheese potatoes orange juice and other stuff people ate back in the day. a lot easier to get fat with scientifically engineered food to make you addicted ruin your hunger signalling.

I blame myself for when I was fat. I chose to eat those Kit Kats, potato chips, drink alcohol and not exercise. Not anymore with Carnivore eating.
it wasn't 100% your fault. but it was 100% your problem. no one is coming to save you. if fake food didn't exist like 80 years ago when obesity was rare. people didn't have more self discipline then. they just didn't have as many bad options as we do now. like the things you named in yours. except alcohol was around back then ofcourse

I'm so happy that I've been carnivore for about 4 years now and I'm feeling great. It's nice knowing my meals consist of usually 2-3 ingredients: Meat, salt and eggs.

The issue I have is that governments subsidize those industries like sugar, cereals or pharma, making it harder for producers of healthy foods to compete on the free market, and authorities give out official recommendations based on what the biggest lobbies are trying to push rather than what consumers want (i.e. not diabetes).
