Your generosity towards my bad breath and acid reflux is incomparable, you assured me of getting healed just within 2 months and it was so. Thanks a lot Dr Emovon on UA-cam I will keep letting the world know about your good work and about your UA-cam channel….
There are cloves in it and cloves contain natural disinfectant named Eugenol.. I make my own mouthwash for some years now, just simply made from about 2 or 3 tablespoons cloves, or little less I like it strong)... put in teapot fill completely with boiled, filtered water and let it steap, then let it cool down... and there you have your mouthwash... and because of the eugenol in the cloves and the boiled water, it lasts me for 2 weeks, using it every day, leave it on the countertop... for mouth wash I fill a half glass with this clove tea... then I add 2 or 3 drops of peppermint oil, food grade, and then fill the rest of the glass up with (warm) water and there you have a very nice, strong mouthwash, you can also add sage ess. oil 2 drops or so... if the tea is too strong, you put less cloves in it when you make the tea... apart from the mouthwash, I also drink a little glas of the tea (ofcourse without the ess. oils) clove tea has lots of health benefits :-)
I was literally thinking, "I wonder if I could add peppermint oil to the mix," and then BOOM, you said it 😆 Definitely going to try this because the other lady I found that made mouthwash had all these off the wall ingredients I'm not going to buy just to make mouthwash. I have most of these ingredients already.
When you buy a store bought mouthwash it comes in a plastic container and harsh chemicals in it , which is harmful for the environment. In the other hand, if homemade you can use your own container it could be glass or reused plastic container ( this is zero waste you re not creating any waste material that is non- biodegradable). And also you know what ingredients are going in your mouthwash. I hope my explanation helps!
Please keep making these videos, they're amazing! :)

Maybe hydrogen peroxide, not alcohol 😊

Won't the turmeric stain the teeth though?
No.
No because you are only adding a pint
I know this comment is old but for anyone reading now, turmeric actually whitens teeth, don't be put off by its bright colour
@Defunct thanks for the info 😁😁
But essential oil is not water-soluble...

Is it zero waste because you swallow it when you're done swishing? I don't understand why it's zero waste 🤦🏽♀️
