Yes, it still connects to the GoPro Quik app just like it did before de-casing it.
why need to tear gopro can we not buy parts needed to built naked gopro?
You can buy the board and lens and make one if you want, but it will end up costing quite a bit more than buying a used GoPro. It's totally your choice.
