    The biggest handling limiting factor with my NC was the horrendous OE Dunlop tyres. Changing to Metzeller's was transformational.

      I bought mine secondhand with Metzler on can't fault them however I haven't ridden in the wet yet.

    I've had my 2024 NC DCT for just over a month now, and have recently had the 600 mile service done at GT's in Plymouth. I got the NC because of a medical problem (hopefully not permanent!), with both my feet, meaning I can't change gear. So if am to keep riding, the NC DCT was the only choice. I am averaging approx.70 mpg, but to get the higher figures, I can see that some

      I have just ordered one its coming 1st September I'm a left leg below knee amputee and test rode one last week. Cant wait to get some miles on it. Can I ask was it hard to keep below half revs for the running in procedure?

    • @ayorkiepetrolhead2571
      @ayorkiepetrolhead2571  3 дні тому +1

      Shouldn't be a problem, the engine is very Torquey and does not need go be revved to make good progress. 70 mph is only about 3600rpm in top gear. I've always understood a good running in procedure is to not make the engine labour by using too high a gear and not to use full throttle movement. Vary your speeds as much as possible ie don't sit on a motorway at 70mph for 100miles.

    very steady riding will be required! My previous bike was the fantastic MT09 SP (2023), and by comparison the lack of suspension quality on the NC is very apparent! Upgrades are definitely planned!

      I agree with you. I have got but not fitted yet yss front suspension kit and rear shock and apparently transforms the bike.

    Hiya bud, ive watched a few of your vids, mainly the sh350 i have a sh300, was thinking upgrading to a ADV 350 which you had and also was thinking of a NC750 DCT which you currently have, i like the ease of jumping on a scooter an nipping off to the shops but i like a bike to maybe head over seas! I had many bikes over the years and done France on a BMW K 1100 LT which was over 12 years ago now so I'm just coming back to the bikes via a SH300, any thoughts?

      The Adv 350 is a cool machine. But I think the nc750x with the dct is definitely the better bike for longer touring type riding.

      I have just returned from 1.650 mile trip around Northern Spain and Western France and the NC coped with ease. Not too much difference from my old Crosstourer DCT which proved too top heavy for someone of my advancing years!

      @@kevinf-b5065 Thats some mileage! I need to get some mileage under my belt as i been out of it for so long and my confidence is shot, not even been on a Motorway yet, no actually i did for 1 junction and spent 5 mins leaning into a gusty offside wind!

    Owned a Nc750 for a year , very economical, slighly jarring ride .
    Nice bike though, i upgraded to a vfr800x cross runner , i do miss the Nc750..

      Hi. I agree with you on the ride quality. It seems a yss upgrade on fork springs and rear shock improves it, so I'm writing to Santa. How's the Crossrunner? Had a vfr in the past and love the engine. But I do like the adventure type riding position.

      The cross runner is a very well balanced bike , I needed the extra power as my wife comes along on weekend rides .
      I find the VTEC slightly annoying, I would rather have progressive power delivery.
      The cross runner feels more refined at speed .

      The jarring ride is cured by a Honda software update which takes 10 minutes. This is an official Honda cure which unfortunately a lot of dealers don't know about! It's only because my son is a (clued up) Honda service manager that sorted it for me.

    • @ayorkiepetrolhead2571
      @ayorkiepetrolhead2571  11 днів тому +1

      Can't see how a software update cures a jarring ride as the suspension is basic and not adjustable by electronic means.

    • @markmiller5577
      @markmiller5577 11 днів тому +1

      I referred to the suspension, nothing to do with electronics.@@kevinf-b5065
