Uber X driver and Eats delivery guy here…. Always fun when I get to pickup or deliver to a trucker. I like returning all they do for us even though they get paid for it as do I, but it still resonates with me. They always have interesting stories to tell as well which is definitely a plug on those longer rides or sometimes they just want to sleep which I totally get. Safe travels, y’all!

I sympathize with you, Alex, on a couple things...I just moved back into my apartment after living in a hotel for the last 5 months because of flood damage after some pipes burst last winter. Moving back in and getting resettled has been a bit of a pain. It's bittersweet when you have to pack up your life and move. Also, I get very attached to my vehicles so I feel your "pain" of having to leave your original truck behind. :( Keep up the good work. Thank you for delivering to us all the stuff we need!!! :) Stay safe out there, bro!

Every truck is a new adventure! My first truck was a 1985 Freightshaker with no power steering, you could not turn the wheel unless you were rolling in either direction! God blessed me with superior backing skills, I was even 1st in a class of 30, in the backing part of the rodeo we had, 2 days before the end of class! my first time in a power steering truck after 2 years with no power steer, was a joke, I oversteered a lot until I got used to it! Be safe everyone and God bless! ✝

I used to be an LTL regional driver, pulled doubles as well as 40', 45', 48' and 53' straight trailers.
Longest run I had was from the Chicago area to Nashville, TN.
I used to get to stay in hotels like that all the time. Never had to sleep in a truck. I liked it.
Then, for medical reasons, I had to drop out of the whole truck driving profession.
I miss it and I don't miss it. It's weird. I was home every other night when I was driving so it wasn't bad at all in that respect.

I'm getting older and I'll need a comfortable mattress when I start sleeping in a semi! I've never reached out to anyone on UA-cam before, so I don't know how I'll get your answer, but I did subscribe to your channel and saved this video. I suppose I'll have to come back and look in here occasionally to see if you answered? Anyway, I'm D and thank you for making this channel, I learn new things from all the videos I watch and yours are no exception. Keep up the good work, my fellow trucker!

That’s to bad you had to move out of your original semi truck. It was probably getting really old, anyway. I had the same problem with my car’s steering wheel when it’s battery was very low. But I think it’s beneficial to move into a new one, specially since they’ve put a better fridge in there. I think the fridge is more like a tiny home fridge, specially to keep your fridge and freezer stuff close together.

My Peterbilt gave me 280 minute warning. I took it to a terminal and they replaced the fuel filter and I was off again.

@truckercowboyed2638 Yes👍 you're right ✅️ i saying in my experience in one of this trucks Freightliner 2022 like brand new it was because got a antifreeze leak plus the mechanic from the Freightliner told me it will happen with Low Oil they will shutdown to protect the engine , but those other issues you're saying yes it happens too , this Freightliner with DEF 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ , they told me to keep DEF always full you will prevent more issues
For all truckers be Safe on the road crazy people driving this days be Safe 🙏
