Can I make a slight correction, Dubai isn't the first country to host a Jewish community. Morocco has a long history of hosting and respecting Jewish communities all over Morocco. The Moroccan Jews who were taken from Morocco to live in Isreal when it was established, will tell you themselves how they used to live happily side by side with muslims in Morocco. In Essaouria Morocco, there is an annual pilgrimage to pay respect to a famous Rabbi in Essaouria every year. If you google king Mohammed the 5th and his Jewish protection of the Jews agreement when the Jews were being forced to leave Morocco speaks volumes of Muslim and Jewish tolerance in history.

@@ef1288 actually it was the Zionist movement who wanted the Jews to leave Morocco and settle in Isreal. There are still Jewish communities in Morocco as we speak today. it's pretty simple, do some unbiased research, The Moroccan Jews will speak for themselves.

Have you considered exploring the Jewish communities in your closest neighbour Canada? Toronto has one of the oldest and largest communities in North America, with hundreds of synagogues and over 200,000 Jewish Canadians living in the greater metro region. Come visit Little Israel, would love to see you here.

@@ShloimeZionce I grew up near Bathurst and moved back recently. The Jewish Orthodox community has expanded and the area has become more multicultural overall, with a lot more Mid East and Asian immigrants. The cultural diversity here is why I love the 416. There's room for everyone, whether they're Jewish immigrants going back 200+ years or Syrian war refugees going back 10+ years.

I don’t think Shloime realizes that the Rabbis need to be very careful with the way they speak. It seemed like he kept pressing for them to talk about how bad Dubai used to be for Jews and how the Rabbis brought drastic change. Unfortunately, mentioning ANYTHING that shows Dubai in a bad light could get the Rabbis in trouble. That is why they maintain the position of ever present peace and they insist the country has been tolerant of Judaism even before the Abraham Accords.
And hats off to the Chabad Rabbis flourishing in the craziest of places throughout the globe!!!

Very cool and interesting video. Only thing I have issue with is why are orthodox Jews moving there? Chabad does a great job in Kiruv and helping Jews in remote locations but that also makes it comfortable for Jews to be in that specific location. I think Jews should all live in Israel. G-d didn't give us America or the UAE for us to live in. He gave us Israel. Nice to make money but that's not what orthodox Jews live for ( or supposed to live for ). They live to serve Hashem and do mitzvot. Yishuv Eretz Yisrael is 1 of the biggest ones. People cry every year on the chagim in shul " lshana habaa byerushalaim habnuya" but then go back to their 8000 sq ft house and bmw suv and forget that 2 hours ago they were crying to get back to Jerusalem. It's pretty hypocritical if you ask me. I don't get it but I guess I do. Money is blinding even for Frum Jews. Living in Israel is not easy and people are used to a certain comfort level that they're not willing to sacrifice.
This is such a crazy thing. Jews should be in all parts of the world. Iraq, morocco, Yemen all had jews in the past. It is not fair to take palestinians land. I am from Iraq. I want all iraqis jews come to baghdad.
I Have bin to Dubai but we need a rabbi there. The rabbi in the video I's from Abu Dabi it wasn't impressed with him.
Israel should learn from this
20% of Israeli citizens are Arabs and have more rights then Muslims living in any other countries in the Middle East. There are Muslims in the government, doctors, judges. There is not one Jew in any country in the Middle East who can live a free life - aside from the UAE - which still has issues. If you don't believe the propaganda about Israel and go with an open mind you will see that Israel is an open democracy. Not perfect but a hell of a lot more perfect then the rest of the Middle Eastern countries. Non Jews living in Israel have a hell of a lot more rights and liberty then non-Muslims living in Muslim countries. There will be peace in the Middle East when the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab world treat Jews as like humans.

Jerusalem is where Prophet Muhammad (saw) prayed with the other Prophets and then ascended to 7 heavens to see Allah swt. That day we muslim recieved the revelation of 5 daily Prayers. Its our third holy site. So do not dictate to us what is or is not important in our religion.

Very nice, starting a Jewish community in UAE and having a school. But why is the language of instruction English? These people are residents not tourists. This is the UAE, the school should teach only in Arabic!
