I agree 100% on all points. I am also a Christian. My family has always had a lot of interaction/support for Israel and the Hassidic/Orthodox community. My Grandfather was a Biblical Archaeologist with a dig site on a settlement on the west bank. I was privileged enough to be able to stay on the settlement with an Orthodox community. They were SO welcoming to our group (they welcomed us every year)... I think Shloime's videos are a great way to expose the rest of the world with his faith and his community, and to show us the beauty of G-d's creation! Keep up the great work Shloime, and glad you made it out of the Pyramid OK... I tried to go in that pyramid 30 years ago, but got about half way and turned around (it was crowded, HOT, and too small). I've never regretted not going in.

Sounds like a really bad head rush. They can be really scary and getting one while you're 100's of metres underground with no one around while probably dehydrated from the heat outside must have been terrifying.
I'm 6ft 6 so I can get them really bad too. I've nearly passed out a few times from them. A tip - if you feel one coming on again, bend over and put your head between your knees. It immediately stops it and you can gradually stand up right again.
    Glad you're okay!

Glad to see you’re ok! Thanks for all the positive content you create. I used to spend a lot of time watching political commentary here in the US and I think it was effecting me in a negative way. I replaced that with your travel videos, interviews and your videos with Peter and I feel a lot better. I’m not Jewish (Lutheran, actually) but G-D bless you in all your travels!

This sounds so scary, I'm so sorry, I can feel you! As a jewish kid I used to find Egypt and pyramids very creepy, but also fascinating... I used to dream about going on adventure in there, like in movies. Then I changed my mind. I've never been in Egypt, or inside a pyramid, but I have entered the Postojna caves, and almost never got out. At certain point I've lost my class (I was on travel with the school) because I was taking pics with the camera, and I was so absorbed by the beauty of the place that I didn't realized everyone were left the site, and at that point I couldn't find ANYONE for half an hour. I was completely alone inside the earth. The most terrifying moment of my life too. I started to cry so bad, I was thinking about my parents, my siblings, their grief. You feel so abandoned, you are just hopeless. At the time I wasn't very observant, but in the dispair I suddenly remembered we have G*d. I wasn't really alone, I hadn't been all along. So I stopped crying, I put my s**t together and I followed the rail, I didn't stop even when it looked like it hasn't an end. Then I found some chinese tourists, and I joined them until we were out. I came out stronger and more observant, more grateful for everything I have been given by HaShem, all those little daily blessings that I used to ignore. This experience changed my life for the better. 🙌

When I think of all I have to be grateful for, there would not be enough hours in a day to count my blessings. Your presence, however, and crossing paths with you is certainly a blessing in MY life and the world is a better, kinder place thanks to you. I look forward to the next time, my brother - may G-d bless you!

I look forward to your videos. Imagine ,you have close to 44,000 people, virtual strangers, who feel connectivity with you. While listening to you describe your scariest moment I felt my anxiety level rising. As an applied psychophysiologist I’ve had a career where I am able to reveal to people their autonomic responses in response to stress perceived or real.
While listening to your very good description of what happened to you while in that pyramid, I had a little insight and realization that you very well could’ve had a panic attack. It would be worth getting that checked out.
If I was able to visualize myself in your situation inside a pyramid with that tiny amount of space, bent over, and it created anxiety in me ,I can only imagine what it did to you.
Lastly ,I want to say to you quite sincerely ,I am so sorry you had this experience.

Agreed.. because its not uncommon to feel faint like this many times throughout life so it shouldn't have immediately brought on a feeling like it was the end and that he was going to die. The fact that those thoughts came in makes me think this is anxiety related triggered by maybe being hot/dehydrated/claustrophobic etc...

i am so glad you are back and survived your brush with death. I'm 73 and when I was 21, I took a 700 mile bike trip alone. Nothing happened, but about half way in it struck me that anything could, I was alone, I might not be found, I could be injured and die, and nobody would care. It made me realize how important it is to have at least one other person with me. It is a rule I have not violated since. I know of a young woman on UA-cam, Eva zu Beck, who is traveling alone. She gets thousands of comments, so my comment to her about not traveling alone was probably not seen, but it is the one basic rule that everyone should follow, unless they are always in public with many other people who can help if necessary. When you go off alone, that is when bad things can happen. Anytime Anywhere. When listening to your story, it also occurred to me that your electrolytes could have been low, having been in the heat. Electrolytes are sodium, potassium, etc. Heat will do that. You sweat them out. On a particularly hot day in Vermont on that trip, I almost passed out. I got some salt tablets and drank two sodas. I laid down in the park in the middle of town for a half hour. I eventually recovered. After that I went to a restaurant and ate two tuna sandwiches. It was air conditioned. With water, electrolyets, and food in me, I was back to normal. You have to make sure that your body does not run low on anything.

Shloime, I know exactly what you felt that day, and it really is the way that people feel right before actual death. You can now reflect on this memory and see what you already knew, but even more so now, that life is so short. You are still much younger than I am , but I can tell you that as you grow older, you will feel differently about many things. Some things that you never thought would change, just do and there is no explanation except that you are realizing what can happen at any time. Bless you, My Friend.

Hi Shloime, I am glad to hear that you are doing well. You are a great ambassador for the Hassidic community and a very nice human being. I watched your show with Peter S. and Doug Barnard and learned a lot about your great cultural and religious traditions, also I really appreciated the Jewish/Hassidic way of life which is to keep God in the center of everything. I am sorry to hear that you have received threats in the past but keep doing what you do best, God will protect you and take care of you as He did inside the pyramid. May God bless you and your loved ones.

Ah, that's fine. You're just out of shape and your body is not used to heat + physical effort. I had a similar experience with food poisoning. I couldn't control my body. It was crazy.

Sorry to hear it happened to you Shloime. Definitely go and get checked out! Good idea to travel with someone (if possible).
Btw I admire your courage of travelling to these places, I know I wouldn't be able to do it. Please take care of yourself.

Nurse on duty just for you:) to explain this so glad you are ok. First thought a Reminder to nurture yourself so you can do all you do for your family, friends, all the others who you touch so profoundly. Love and nurture you, listen to your intuition never ignore when you sense with your entirety “this isn’t right” because it’s not just intuition, you understand what I mean. Your being guided to safety..protected. Not talking abt people who obsess nonstop noooo that’s different just fear paranoia whatever. How many times someone says I kept thinking I shouldn’t turn here or put that there or whatever, being so wrapped up in other things one pushes that aside and then something happens. I’m a nurse and it sounds like the exposure to the climate, not being acclimated as you don’t live there..then walking on those steep steps makes your blood circulation reroute to where it’s needed most, so if your body is slanted like this your body adjusts to the degree of slant and gives the oxygen to where it senses it should go. When you then stood up right away you had what is called orthostatic hypotension or low blood pressure. I think it was the desert dry heat, being tired and pushing yourself nonstop then being at that steep angle and standing up in a second. If it happens again see a doc for a tilt test ok. No more camels in the desert then hanging off railing and stairs that are akin to an ancient carnival ride! Blessing to you and yours as always!✌🏼🫶🏼✨

It is situations like this that one realizes how the Lord is always there when we call out to Him. A very present help in times of trouble.

well, that was certainly scary. Our minds trick us in stressful situations... Reminds me of how we think while freediving/scuba diving, as I have experience in that... I am glad it was not an aggression or anything like that... good to hear you are fine, take care
