The Catholic Jew: My Conversion Changed Our Lives | Paula & Aaron Levitats | Stories of Hope
Raised entirely Catholic, Paula was affectionately called “the Jewish daughter” by her mother, who recognized Paula’s deep, innate connection to Judaism. While exploring her roots during college, Paula embarked on a journey toward conversion-but with one firm boundary: she vowed she would never become Orthodox.
On the other hand, Aaron grew up in a loving Reform Jewish household, deeply connected to his heritage. Over time, however, he drifted from Judaism, dating a non-Jewish girlfriend and feeling disconnected. It wasn’t until an unexpected moment during a volunteering trip to Thailand that Aaron’s passion for Judaism was reignited.
Discover the extraordinary story of how a devout Christian woman not only embraced Judaism but also inspired her husband to become an Orthodox Jew. Together, they didn’t just find true love in one another-they discovered a profound love for their faith as well.

TITLE: A DAY IS THAT IMPORTANT: The final battle between Christ and Satan called the battle of amagedon bible summary. (More bible study is required) *CHAPTER 1. **_____________________* This is what I was sharing yesterday about the facts of God's truth with the two lovely young ladies at the market. They worship on Sunday, which is a biblical sin. Sunday is also the mark of the beast 666 according to revelation 13 and prophecy. Also, the final battle between Satan and Christ will be about the true Sabbath. Where Satan is the mark or the beast 666, aka sunday worship. Don't take this mark of the beast when *SUNDAY LAW* is passed worldwide as a law by the US and clue: 'a Church based in Rome/state' and 'The head of the church (Catho...)also the head of state. and Christ is about a biblical sabbath on Saturday, the seal of God. *CHAPTER 2_**____________________* Sunday Law will be passed as a law by the US and this church whose headquarters are based Rome (starts with a Cath...) as a law very soon after a short time of trouble that has never been seen before. If you read Revelation 13, this church that will work together with the US to implement sunday law is the first beast in Revelation 13. But isn't this good to pass the Sunday law as a global law, some will ask? No, it's not good. Because the US and this particular church will unite (and later all powers of the earth) against the commandment of God, i.e., the 4th commandment in Exodus 20:11, which is about the true Sabbath, aka Saturday, aka 7th day. All those who refuse to comply will be penalised, and it will finally be declared they are deserving of death. *CHAPTER 3._**___________________* Before this happens, everyone will clearly understand what the issues are and will have the opportunity to choose for themselves whether to follow God's Law or man-made legislation that goes against the commandments of God. Those who accept the sign of submission to earthly powers will receive the mark of the beast, while those who chose their allegiance to God will receive the seal of God. Here is a reason why we keep the bible Sabbath (saturday). It is the only day that God rested after creation. You find this in the Old Testament and New Testament verses. *CHAPTER 4._**___________________* Sabbath keeping: Exodus 20:8-11 KJV [8] Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. [9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: [10] but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: [11] for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Genesis 2:2-3 NIV [2] By the seventh day, God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day, he rested from all his work. [3] Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy because on it, he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. Old testament👆🏾 *CHAPTER 5 **_____________________* Some New testament verses that link the biblical sabbath Matthew 28:1 NIV [1] After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. Commentary: Jesus Rose on Sunday. At the Cross Joseph of arimethea claimed the body of Jesus because Friday was the Sabbath preparation day, for the sabbath rest on saturday. In Mark 15:42-43, It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath). So as evening approached, [43] Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body. So we conclude that............ 1. Sunday *(first day of the week)* 2. Monday 3.Tuesday 4. Wednesday 5. Thursday 6. Friday. *(Sabbath preparation)* *7. Saturday (sabbath)* *CHAPTER 6._**___________________* And for those who still question the validity of the 10 commandments today, THEY ARE STILL AS VALID TODAY AS THEY WERE WHEN GOD WROTE THEM. The 10 commandments have not and can not be done away with. if your observance does not lead you to obedience to all of Gods 10 commandments. It's a false ideology called presumption, and presumption is man-made not biblical or eisegeses, which means you interpret the bible to suit YOUR man-made ideologies. if we shall keep the sabbath in the new heaven and new earth then surely the sabbath is still valid to date. Revelation 21:1 "[1] Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away (vanished), and there is no longer any sea. [1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." Surely, Sabbath is still kept holy as the only 7th day that God blessed and sanctified to date. The 10 commandments are still valid today! So when you acknowledge the Sabbath Day and 7th day (saturday) and don't keep it holy. That's Disobedience, you literally break Gods heart when you don't keep all of his commandments. *CHAPTER 7_**______________________* Isaiah 66:22-23 NIV [22] “As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure. [23] From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord. The final battle between Christ and Satan is about the true bibilical sabbath.... this will be revealed when the *Sunday Law* is passed very soon by the US and the Catho... church and later the powers of the world to pass this into law, they will be forcing all the inhabitants of thw qorld to worship the beast. And, isn't Sunday law good, some might ask? No! Sunday law is not good (rev 13 first beast is Catholic, 2nd beast is US) . Revelation 13:8-9 NIV [8] All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast-all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. [9] Whoever has ears, let them hear. *CHAPTER 8. **_____________________* When this happens, it will be a test of royalty to God. So you decide wisely... I have told you nothing but the biblical truth. Not my word but the Lords.. Seal of God =Christ (sabbath/saturday). Mark of the beast = 666 (sunday) Dragon=devil So *a day* is that important. the tribulations will be for those who take the mark of the beast. God's people who choose the seal of God will be protected through it on earth. Revelation 16:2 KJV [2] And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. The Seventh Day Adventist Church is the remnant Church. It keeps all the commandments of God and shares the testimony of christ as our Saviour and redeemer. Jesus is the son of God, and He is God. He who is like the Father and are One.
@jewisharmywife
Since the beginning of man, God has always required a sacrifice for sins, the blood of an animal to cover our transgressions. In the Garden of Eden, Eve sinned and then Adam, and they hid from God and covered themselves with fig leaves because they knew they were naked. I believe God then sacrificed an animal to cover their shame and transgression. Genesis 3:21 KJV - Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. Then we see that Abel, a good son offered the first of his flock as a sacrifice offering to God (Genesis 4:4), and Noah did as well (Genesis 8:20). After the flood of Noah, Abraham was commanded by God to offer his only Son Isaac, who was a willing sacrifice, but the LORD was only testing Abraham and a ram was sacrificed instead (Genesis 22). After Abraham, Moses commanded the Israelites to sacrifice a Lamb on Passover, and the judgment of God would passover them. All of these sacrifices were a symbol of the atonement sacrifice that the Messiah would make to cover our sins and make reconciliation for iniquity. Leviticus 17:11 KJV - For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. From the beginning, the unspotted animal was sacrificed for the transgression of man, as a prelude to the suffering Messiah who came 2000 years ago, born from the Tribe of Judah, the Moshiach Ben David. Yet, they refused His Torah and handed Him over to the Romans to be sacrificed on the Cross for the transgression of His people (Isaiah 53). A willing sacrifice like Isaac, for Jesus said He laid down His life for His sheep, His people are covered by His body and blood - the blood of the New Covenant. Since Christ was sacrificed for His people, and for anyone who believes and follows Him among any nation, there is no more animal sacrifices needed, He was sacrificed once for all generations under the New Covenant mentioned in Jeremiah 31:31. Because Messiah was slain by His own people, as the Passover Lamb on the 14th of Nissan, the nation of Israel was destroyed in 70 AD and Israel has been spiritually blinded until Daniel's 70th week begins. Daniel 9:26 KJV - And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. David by the Spirit of God prophesied that the Messiah would be a suffering servant who would be given vinegar to drink (John 19:29), and that Israel would be blinded and struck down by God. Psalm 69:7-28 KJV - Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children. For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them. They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards. But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily. Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies. Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee. Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake. Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them. Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded. Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. This mystery is also confirmed by Christ's Apostle Paul in Roman's Chapter 11 of the New Covenant Bible where it says Israel was taken away as a nation and blinded, but God would save a remnant in the last days after the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. We also see this is prophesied in Zecheriah Chapter 12 through 14 where it says Israel would be surrounded by their enemies and then Israel would weep for Him whom they have pierced (crucified), and then one third of Israel will be purified through tribulation (Daniel's 70th Week) until Christ comes from Heaven with His Saints.
The 70 Weeks For Israel - Daniel Chapter 9 Daniel Chapter 9 speaks of a prophecy of 70 weeks for the nation of Israel, and these are weeks of years (7x70=490 Years). Daniel 9:24 KJV - Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. In the prophecy, it says the Messiah was to be 'Cut Off' at the end of the 69th week from the time of the Prince of Persia declaring the decree to rebuild Jerusalem (see the books of Nehemiah and Ezra). Daniel 9:26 KJV - And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And as History shows, Yeshua Jesus was crucified right at the appointed time, and since then we have been in the gap period between Daniel's 69th Week and Daniel's 70th Week. The 70th Week is the final 7 years of tribulation for the entire world until Christ the Messiah is anointed as King over Israel and rules all nations in His Millennial Kingdom from Jerusalem (Isaiah 2, Zechariah 14, Psalms 2). Then Israel will be cleansed of sin and purified, and everlasting righteousness will be brought in, after a remnant is saved in that final Week (see Zechariah 12-13, Romans 11). Psalm 2:6-9 KJV - Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Isaiah 2:2-4 KJV - And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. The final week of years is divided into two sections that is listed as 3.5 years, 1260 days, a times time and a dividing of times. All referring to a half of a week of years - 7 years with 30 day months. Daniel's 70th Week must take place in Israel and there must be daily animal sacrifices in the Holy Temple as we see indicated in scripture: Daniel 9:27 KJV - And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. The Antichrist will confirm a 7 year peace covenant with Israel, and then stop the daily animal sacrifices and cause the abomination of Desolation in the Holy Temple mid-week. Look up Rabbi Tovia Singer please. He should have the answer to your questions.
Who is the Jewish Messiah and when does He come? Let us look at scripture! Isaiah 9:6 KJV - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Messiah is not only a man, but He is YHVH in the flesh. God became man to redeem us from the curse of sin and death! Will Messiah come first as a conquering king? No, He comes first as a Lamb, a Lamb to be offered as the Passover Lamb! His blood is shed for the new Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31). Isaiah 53:3-11 KJV - He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. When must Messiah come? You may wonder if it is now, but He has already come before the temple was destroyed in 70 AD. This is seen in Daniel Ch. 9 where it says Messiah will be cut off after 69 weeks of 7 years from the time Artexerces decreed to restore and rebuild Jerusalem. The time of Ezra and Nehemiah. There is now one final week of Daniel's 70 Weeks, and that is why Israel is now back in the land to rebuild the Temple. If Messiah has already come, then who is the Messiah? His name is Yeshua or Jesus in English. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob whom was delivered to death for the remission of our sins. Why was there no animal sacrifices or High Priest the past 2000 years? It is because Jesus was the last sacrifice atonement that was necessary, if you believe in Him and that He rose from the dead 3 days later, your sins will be forgiven. He died for your sin and my sin, and now as a High Priest He intercedes for us in the Holy Tabernacle in Heaven. Please read the New Testament, the truth is there for all to see! Psalm 22:14-18 KJV - I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

The scientists who believe in carbon dating and the theory of evolution teach that the earth is millions of years old and came from nothing - a chaotic explosion in the Universe that led to chance evolution. They believe this miracle of life is all just by accident, that everything is all a roll of the dice and that we are just clumps of evolving cells aimlessly shooting through space and time with no direction and no purpose. Yet, the Bible paints a very different picture and speaks of a Creator who lovingly created man in His own image and likeness and gave man dominion over the earth. A God that uses patterns and order all throughout His creation and that has a plan and a purpose for us all if we would walk in His ways. A God that sees all and He knows how everything would unfold even before He first created the foundations of the earth. God also uses patterns involving numbers. For instance, the Jewish Menorah has 7 Candles, there are 7 Holy Days in Leviticus 23, 7 days in a week, and God appointed 70 weeks of 7 years to the nation of Israel in Daniel Chapter 9. Then we see that in the final tribulation period known as Daniel's 70th Week, there are 7 seal judgments, 7 trumpet judgments, and 7 bowl judgments. After much study and revelation, I believe God has established a 7000 year plan for mankind, just as one week is seven days, so is this present age comprised of 7 Millenniums. The Bible tells us that one day with God is like a thousand years on the earth. I have studied the genealogies and the timeline of the Bible and have concluded that we are at the end of the 6th Day, and the 7th Day is soon to begin. The 7th Day is like the Sabbath Rest where Christ will rule all nations with a rod of iron and the nations will be at peace when He rules for a 1000 years in Jerusalem. This 7th Millennium will begin with the glorification of the saints of God at the rapture, and the destruction of the AntiChrist and the kings of the earth at Christ's Second Coming at the Battle of Armageddon. Satan will also be bound and placed in the Bottomless Pit at the start of the 7th Day (see Revelation 19-20). At the end of the 7000 year cycle, the final Great White Thrown Judgment will commence, where every man from every age will be judged eternally by God and the souls of the just who trust in God and His Son will enter the new heavens and earth, yet the sinners and unbelievers will be cast into the lake of fire - the second death. Then death will be no more seen on the earth, but the eternal age of all souls will begin. This is a quick study concerning the term 'last days' within God's 7000 year cycle of earth and mankind which patterns a 7 Day Week with a day of rest for 1000 years. 7000 Year Cycle docs.google.com/document/d/10V7XlnTDVQGdQbeoY9BUOcYOzIimg0ZdQG5Wq7ZQFII/edit?usp=drivesdk

Such an uplifting story
Ahh Paula and Aaron, I’ve been off sugar for a dozen years now and your episode gave me that sugar high! My husband came into the kitchen as I was doing housework and listening.I paused and found myself choking up and getting all teary eyed as I related your excitement and enthusiasm over yidishkeit. I’ve been growing through some excruciating Nisyonos and we often get pulled down when we’re given Midas hadin. But you reminded me . If you’re meant to go through this right now , how lucky I am to be going through this as a Torah Jew. And how I must use this time to deepen my connection to Hashem . Rather than waste the opportunity. Because I’m going through it anyway. And I’m so blessed to have Hashem in my life . Grow through it to the maximum!! Thx for your injection. chazak v’ametz … keep shteiging And the gift to be in Eretz Yisrael is the yummiest frosting on the cake ! Savor the incredible zechus!
Just a thought.. you know your hair can naturally shape into your “headdress” no hat needed… ✋🏿look it up !
Peace to all but free Palestine from the beasts belly
How does one afford to take a year or two off and just go to seminary? Family support?
Thanks for another amazing story of hope. We all have different paths and sometimes Hashem brings you the perfect partner to get you there, as evidenced by Paula & Aaron. And definitely Israel is sure to ignite our spark!
the honesty throughout and the reiterating of obvious truths about Judaism are simply rejuvenating! ty again
Amazing episode! Very inspiring on so many levels! Thank you to all involved!
Wow! Really so unbelievably inspiring Listening to Paula and Aaron.
she is right when it happens suddenly its hard you didnt even have time to say bye. Same happen to me 4 years ago and also on Wednesday. My husband went to work and i hatzalah show up at my door later that my husband hard massive heart attack. they took me to the hospital but ddint let me see him. SInce i was pregnant i was trying to stay calm. Now my daughter 4 years old and she start asking "why my Abba not coming"
Great podcast! I resonate with her story. I’m in the process. Loved when she said “find yourself in the mitzva”. Sometimes some mitzvot feel foreign to us, and we get anxious trying to include everything, and burn out inevitably follows. One mitzva at a time, be in a community and environment conducive to learning, doing and spiritually connecting. What a great path we have embarked on! ❤
Good to see another AEPi brother become religious. I grew up in Miami in a reform home and went to USF where I started my journey on birthright. Then eventually made it to Aish. Keep it up, one day at a time.
This is incredibly relatable. ❤ thank you for another great episode.

Did you ever consider that you may be a reincarnation of a Jewish person?
What an incredible episode. So many nuggets of inspiration!
I was born and raised Jewish and I am still Jewish but not orthodox. It is not right tor everyone.
Saul the Jew loved Jesus the Jew and created a new religion. In sum: Jews love their rabbis. There are 1000s of religions and 100s of denominations. GOD IS GO! DO!
I was under the impression that orthodox Jews never divorced and so am surprised at how many couples you have interviewed who are divorced. These couples are so interesting!
Thank you Nissim and Adina for inspiring us with your story.
I am interested what you did with Jesus? So your now waiting for the Messiah 🤔
what is Paula's Jewish name?
A fresh perspective is so refreshing! Thank you Aaron and Paula for the chizzuk!
PZ deals is annoying though. You get like hundreds of messages each day?
