This should not be a conversation. Yes, Reese is the Queen of Rebounds but Clark literally beats her in every other category. Clark has more points, more assists, more blocks, more three pointers, and she beat her twice out of the three times they've played. I actually think its insulting for people to be having this conversation.

Caitlin is playing good but, what separates Angel from her is that Angel is impacting the WNBA as a rookie. She has more consecutive double doubles than anyone in history. She’s also currently leading the WNBA in rebounds. She’s a rookie doing this !

In play, OR with time stopped, and away from ball play, she's getting hit, checked, pushed, shoved and whatever else they can get away with whilst the officials conveniently are always seemingly looking the other way. Yet JW wants to complain about "midrange"? I see her taking 10-15 footers but she risks injury every time she goes that far in or drives for lay-ups.

Did you see the huddle scuffle? She tried pulling Temi out without success and just walked away. Why do you think that is? First, probably because she knew that if any flagrant fouls or Ts were called, she would have gotten one just for being there. This girl started playing with boys from a young age plus has two older brothers. Plus her dad coached her. You honestly think she isn't capable of shooting from anywhere on the floor effectively? What a stupid take! Yeah, a generational talent but she can't shoot a 15 footer yet is 88% from the FT line! 🙄.
AR's double doubles are impressive to a point. But at 6-3, she should be averaging that. The missed lay-ups in this league is frightening and not just for her (and then picking up her own misses at probably 2-4 per game). She is quite athletic for her size.
On the other hand, CC was responsible for half the team's points on Sunday with her own points plus her assists (44 of 88).
This shouldn't even be close but the agenda is obviously there. I wouldn't be shocked to see CC lose out on ROTY.
AR is sm for a big. Clark is 6.0 which is tall for a PG. the average hieght for a point gaurd is 5.9.
You talk about CC get pushed around yet she is constantly outside making shots while
AR is under the board fighting for those rebounds getting chopped, pushed, body checked, hacked etc, etc.
Every rebound she snatch is a another chance at a score shes keeps the other team from getting the ball.

I don't just "talk" about CC getting pushed around. She IS getting pushed, shoved, hacked, checked, gotten many head shot fouls, and so on and so on. Have you SEEN compilation vids on her getting killed out there?!
And oh btw, CC is #1 on EVERY team's scouting report. That's a fact. That means while other teams "stars" are putting up big numbers, they typically do it vs one on one defense. CC is getting guarded starting at 3/4 court and getting double and triple teamed. She can and does drive in for potential 10-15 footers, but why force those when you're being doubled/tripled? The smart play is ALWAYS to then hit the open player hopefully cutting for a lay-up or a kick out to a possible 3.
I don't see your point about CC being a 6ft guard. She's an excellent ball handler and one of if not the best passer in the league already. Aren't those the main qualities you rely on in a pg?. Yeah, a lot of turnovers so far but a lot of missed passes too that need to be caught.
As for AR, I said she was talented. But teams can't just double her like they can CC because the Sky has Cardosa. You double AR and Cardosa will kill you. You double Cardosa and AR will kill you so most teams must play man to man unless they do situational doubles on either but you best have backsid help and be excellent on your rotations. AR Is a hustler and has earned some props. However she benefits tremendously with Cardosa opposite and her being even bigger.
Oh and one more thing. Speaking of stats, CC has more blocks per game than AR who is 3 inches taller. More assists, more points, more blocks per game and not far behind in average rebounds per game either considering she's a guard.
Nobody cares about double doubles especially when you are shooting under 50% on layups and getting your own rebounds some times. Nothing exciting about that type of game. Caitlin makes everyone around her better.

The WNBA and ESPN shows favoritism by putting that poster of Angel Reese with her 10 consecutive double doubles, but hasn't done it for Caitlin Clark when she sets or ties the double doubles of points and assists.

I like CC's game. However she needs a mid game, stop and pop pullup especially, a floater would be nice. I wouldn't shoot for something Kobe-esque but something more like Stockton or Nash. Lastly, I think she needs to tighten up defensely in the man-to-man coverage situations. She does well in zone coverge with steals and help defense.
Maybe Reese would be a more skilled player if she spent as much time in practice as she does putting on makeup for the fashion show.
