Right after the Fever-Sky game, ESPN ran an article titled 'Angel Reese-Sheryl Swoopes hug a win for Black Women', what are they talking about? It was a regular season game, and even after the win, Fever still lead the series 2-1. All that that super huge hug between Reese and Swoopes had after the game, and the ESPN article tell me, is that Swoopes doesn't like Clark because she's white. No other reason.

Let’s add some more heat to this; that Iowa team wasn’t a real hoop squad. I think only one other Lady Hawk got drafted. She broke all these records playing with women that are probably in grad school right now and not ringers.
The thing that continues to impress me about CC is her calm respectfull demeanor when talking to the press. I've NEVER heard her cut ANYONE down, I've NEVER heard her honk her own horn. Yeah, she may need improvement in her bball skills, but she is definetely an ace when it comes to being in the public forum. And she's only 22 years old. Diana Taurasi is 20 years older than CC and would benefit from taking lessons from her.
Cc is an outstanding ball player. honestly I think she needs a better coaching staff. If they coach her on closing the gaps on pick and rolls while coaching the team on how to roll properly, their record would probably be a little bit better.

There’s a reason this league has always failed. Most of the stars have been very unlikeable women. Clark proves it takes more than just her game to grow the sport. It takes people who are relatable. The WNBA is actually full of bullies trying to attack a very nice person knowing she won’t retaliate physically. She will just eat them alive on the court. Wait until this girl gets rest in the off-season with a year under her belt practicing with her teammates and the Fever get a new coach. Plus Clark can laugh all the way to the bank because she is marketable.
When the swoopes interview came out I had seen a few games of CC at Iowa. I went on a thing called google and quickly found the stats she lied about. Both she and the interviewer made up info. The interviewer should have done some research to correct it. I’m female and leave it to females to tear each other down. She lost all credibility to me with that interview. It comes across as petty and jealous.

CC is Generational player, she is most talented from 3points beyond 25-30ft with court general skills with sharp eye in ball distribution to her team mates .If CC will attempt an average 22 shoots per game her average points is around range of 28-30.points Currently she only attempt average 11 attempt for ave 16 points
Yeah I think she's trying to win over her teammates and look like a pure point guard but once she get comfortable and start letting them fly, I believe you on that one cause she is very capable.

Old man here (Maryland fan), I imagine myself raining down threes from the logo when I watch her play. And I love how she maneuvers her way to layups (reminds me of Meadowlark Lemon) CC plays like a European, all fundamentals and muscle memory. In all my years I never really understood until now what they meant when they said women’s biggest problem was other women. Go CC.
I suspect that there are white people, who are also - on the right of the political spectrum - who look at CC22 and think - oh look! a white straight female basketball player, we can support her! But that's a very small number compared to all the other people who actually WATCH basketball who think - I never saw a woman play basketball like that, I want see more of it! Then a week later at some womens award banquet Lynette shit on Clark and said her record wasnt broken because in 1978 the ball was the same size as men and no 3 point line! I'm starting to think that the coach isn't as incompetent as I previously thought, and she might actively be trying to make Caitlin look bad, or limit her on court success in any subtle way she can. I originally didn't want to believe that, but then I found out today that theyr'e starting Erica Wheeler in the Aces game. Why? Everyone knows that whenever Wheeler is on the court, she becomes the defacto point guard over Caitlin Clark. And when that happens, they regulate Caitlin to just sitting in the corner, and never getting the ball. It's insane. She had a near triple double against the Mercury, and the Mercury's own coach even admitted they couldn't stop her Why would you do something that will ruin a winning strategy that worked against the Mercury? I swear Sides must be doing whatever she can to make sure Angel Reese gets ROY. Don't get me wrong, Angel is having a great rookie season too, but by fixing these games in Angel's favor, you're doing both players a huge disservice in my opinion.

What was wrong with what Swoopes said is that she didn't even have enough respect for her interviewer or for the audience to familiarise herself with Caitlin's actual situation. She did break the record in only 4 years. And at the time Swoopes was speaking, she was 22 years old. I don't suppose for one second that Swoopes was lying, she'd just never been interested enough in the sport she professes to love to investigate an up-and-coming star.
I guess we all have our opinion as to why she could be bothered to do that. I do wonder, though, if she would have been as hopelessly inaccurate giving a summary of Angel Reese's college career....

I just started watching the W because of CC. Im flying to see the Phx game and bought two CC jerseys. Im also not white so it’s not a white thing.

I think there are 2 reasons she went pro 1 Iowa was basically reloading, only returning starters would be her and Stuelke. 2 Indiana had the 1st pick, she wanted to stay in Midwest and her boyfriend works for the Pacers.

CC broke the record in less games, CC was only 22, and she averaged shots in the low 20s. CC took a undermanned Iowa team and single handily carried them to 2 championship games.
