Thanks for this! Been about 10 years since I laced a wheel and I was having trouble remembering how to start. Very helpful! And I'm also working with a 70's Honda wheel.
Had to come back and say thanks! It took me a second try I didn't have enough angle on the first spoke on the second side of the rim (needed to go one more hole along the hub) but realized what I did, great instruction and demonstration.
Hi Dave, thank you for the clearest and most comprehensive explanation of wheel set up and truing! Confident to tackle my Norton wheels and expect a good result! Kevin in 🇨🇦
Thank you Dave, I have to disassemble two ct- 90 wheels so that I can chuck the hubs up in the lathe for minor modifications. Your excellent video makes it so much easier! I really like your restoration project 0:290:29
Great question. Obviously if it is the same size hub and rim measure and order the same size spokes, if not maybe the hub manufacturer will have some information for you. I would start with the hub maker and see if there is a chart for different size rims.
Great video . Clear instructions kept it simple . Thank-you, really helpful. You have given me the confidence to have a go 😊
@@Barry-tp2vd you got it!👊
Thanks Dave, worked perfectly
Nice video made my job simple. Thanks

Thank you very much. First time lacing wheels here, good guide.
Thanks a lot sir❤️
I’m lacing an entirely new rim and hub. How would I know what length of spoke I should use?

great tutorial. The only think i would add is anti--seize to the threads.
Thank you!
I use a 18L / 5 gal bucket as a table for all my tire repairs...
