I was just about to say pretty much the same thing. Lydia, I'm so proud of you for going through the change you've gone through and being open about it. It's inspirational. It is good to realize however that there is no lineairity about this development. There will be a point when you splurge on something else and think differently about the purchase afterwards and that's ok. You don't need to become a monk to be a good and happy person. Just trust the process. That's life. :-)
I feel the same way about Lydia. It’s so nice to see that she is trying to buy more stuff she loves but she doesn’t hold to the things that just don’t make her happy.

Since you are replacing the light in your dressing room, will you be putting The old light up for sale? I would be interested in purchasing it for my kitchen remodel. I lost my husband to coronavirus this past December and in the spring we were supposed to start our home renovation. So I am going ahead with our plans and thought that your beautiful crystal light would be a perfect adornment for my new kitchen. Of course I live in the US so it may be hard to ship but I would be willing to work that out. Thank you for your consideration and happy birthday!
I cleared my bag collection ages ago and it feels so liberating. As we get older we chase the trends less and only want what we truly love. I still have several Birkin bags that I have only used once and I keep telling myself that I will sell them. I will only keep the one my husband gave me for one of our first wedding anniversaries because it’s vintage and very classic. I hope you have a lovely birthday Lydia. Best Wishes! 💕🍀💕

I don't have things I don't use. There's no point. You run out of storage anyway and your tastes change and evolve over time. That's what you're seeing too. You know what's important so go with it.

a proper kimono has rectangular (square) sleeves, with armpit un-sewn, so air can get in. That is why several layers under are also necessary. (it seems like yours is cut similarly, though the fabric is casual and perhaps the sleeve is a little bit shorter) :D / I wore kimono as a school uniform in Japan for a year.
Lydia. Love your evolution I have watched you from the beginning and I feel like you are now stepping into your authentic self, truest self. I totally disagree with selling any bags. I have one of the first baguette Fendi sold. It fell out of favor plenty of times. I am so glad I kept them all. They will be classics, and you will be happy you have them. That's my take, clothes are different, but a bag will be a regret one day. But, that's only my view!
your robe is a dupe of an Australian brand Spell & the Gypsy collective. I highly recommend getting their robes! They are so good and are a sustainable brand.

Here’s a perspective that we have lived by in my family - your birthday marks the end of that year not the beginning. In other words, Lydia you are marking the end of your 34th year & the start of your 35th, just as your first birthday marks the end of your first year of life not the start. Watching this vlog I thought abut how well balanced your emotions are. For example, you know when to recharge and are not afraid to do it; you really seem to have found such an harmonious equilibrium and a lot of self awareness, which is always good. I thought how good of a mother you'll be, because of that.
I am also trying not to attach too much to things, even though mine are not expensive usually, but I have done it quite a lot up until now.

I am quite good at being honest with myself when it comes to clearing out my wardrobe. If I've not worn it for 12 months or my tastes have changed, it's out. Even if it's something I've only worn once and I've never had my money's worth out of it. Give it to someone who will cherish it more. The things I get rid of tend to be the trend led pieces or the impulse buys. Goes to show shopping classic really is the less wasteful, more economic route.
Good for you looking to curate your handbag collection, limit styles and maximise use. But that City bag though 😳 that’s my dream combination since my teens! Though they say the city bag is making a comeback

A saint or cardinal in the Roman Catholoc church;
A reference to the Seinfeld show as it was George Kastanzas' password;
It means forest or wooded area in Italian;
It is/was the name of an Irish kids' TV show,
It is the name of a cop in an old American TV series called, "Dukes of Hazards".
I do not know as he came with this name. His racing name in Florida was, "Jen's Baskin Boy", which was awkward so he was always called, Boscoe.
There is a mini schnauzer and a chocolate lab also both named Boscoe in my neighborhood.

It’s currently 83 degrees F* today in New Jersey! I just got the Nars natural radiant longwear foundation in the color Valencia and I love it! It’s my exact shade and it’s very natural! I feel like you could be that shade as well or even Barcelona or even Sahel.

Happy birthday. The Floradix your nan took is for iron deficiency. (I take it as my iron levels are low despite eating a healthy diet. It's surprisingly hard to get enough iron in your diet). It would be worth getting your iron levels checked as it's not unusual for them to be low in women.
