I’ve never put twillys on my handles and they are ok. One Birkin is 25 years old. Yes there is a little wear but that is to be expected. Hermes will spa the bag and make it like new if it really bothers you. Just wear your bag and enjoy it.

It’s so funny watching this in 2023 when Lydia was talking about the Petite Malle and how she would buy a small trunk in a heart beat. In 2022 she got the petite valise which is exactly what she described. I bought the Petite Valise bc of her. Love your videos!
I believe that chanel classic flap is the medium and i did find the medium slightly too big for me and I've found the small I have is amazing

Not gonna lie, I do love that Lady Dior floral print limited edition bag, I think that it is gorgeous and something I would love to own if I ever come across it. But I agree with you that right now, I am obsessing over the Hermès bags. I have the Jypsiere and I am looking forward to getting a Birkin or a Kelly or even both in the future.
I think your grandpa would be so proud to have you toting his bag around the world. You should get it repaired for travel but not completely restored to where his use is lost ❤️

The only Birkin bag I have any interest in would be a black 25 in gold and/or silver hardware. I can see why so many people like the Chanel classic flap, but it's a bit too lady-like for my style and I feel too many people have it. I think the Boy bag is much more striking and interesting.
My personal favourite is the Tod's and the Pochette Métis. They are timeless practical and do not break the bank.
Love how you change out your collection over the years according to your preference and style, so it's not too boring at any one time ❤️
Hi Lydia! I enjoy watching these kind of collection videos.. it’s like an escape for me, especially on days like today when I’ve had a long am with the kids, sending them off to school, & folding 3 loads of laundry.. it helps the chores go by quick and a little pick me up!

It’s interesting how regionally popular certain bags are. For example, in NY where I’m based out of, I can’t recall ever seeing anyone carrying Bulgari bags. And yet lots of the UK bloggers, like you and “In the Frow” speak of them often.

I enjoyed watching this bag collection and reasons for each bag. I love the story behind them. Personally I don’t think Lydia should sell the Chanel Classic flap, you never know she might miss it but do what makes her happy. My favourite is the Chanel trendy!

The Bulgari Serpenti Forever is so beautiful! I broke my arm in 2 places in the snow last week so thank you for keeping me entertained while awaiting surgery. I'm currently on the hunt for a bag for my 30th birthday so have loved this video, thank you Lydia ❤️

I definitely remember the iconic Chloe Nile days. You almost made me purchase one lol! Girlllllll, please don’t sell your Chanel classic flap. They are so expensive now with all the price increases and you might change your mind and then want repurchase. I think you will regret if you sell it!
I love the majority of your bags but I really like the black limited addition lady Dior best. Side note: You can take your large Louis Vuitton travel bag into your local LV store and they will fix it. I had an issue with one of my bags. I had the best customer service experience and felt like a valued customer through that experience. They stand by their products! Just a thought!😊

I would die for the Hermes birkin bag, It is so beautiful. But being more down to earth I will go for fendi peekaboo in burgundy. I love this bag since I saw It in your channel a few years ago.

The ones that stood out to me are the sage green Lady Dior (that color! 😍) and the Carolina Herrera and Tods tan bags (so simple, understated and quality looking!).

I honestly appreciate how you critique Chanel bags. I love how they look but I feel like their quality has gone down so much since the 90s and it's not worth the price of a brand new one. Also I miss your mulberry bags! Where did they go?

i love the dior limited editions and i agree that the minis are more elegant and i also love the fendi peekaboo. the tod brown purse would be perfect for my mom. i personally like wearing more affordable bags as everyday bags and more expensive bags for occasions so i tend to gravitate for small evening luxury bags.

Not a fan of the Chanel Classic flap either. If it’s not you just let it go....Also (sorry) NOT a fan of the Birkin 30, I actually find it an ugly bag, and I realize I’m probably in the minority in my opinion. But, I LOVE your Lady Dior bags!! I think that you’re love of mini bags is spot on, they look great when you wear them! Love your hold all’s!

Sometimes I watch this youtube channel about "luxury on a budget" for fun and she was unboxing a bag so I checked the website. I have to admit that in the picture the bags looked pretty. Fully remember the Chloe Nile times, I became obsessed with the bag after seeing you wearing it all the time. Managed to get one basically new second hand when they were all sold out. Since you're a huge Lady Dior fan, I would like your opinion on my next luxury purchase. I've set my mind on a Lady Dior, but I'm not sure about the color/size yet. It will either be an ABC lady dior (small) or the medium.
I feel like the bigger strap on the small makes it more wearable, and I am I not a fan of the guitar strap on a lady dior style. So I think I might be able to wear the small size more, but the medium is just so iconic.
About the color, I adore the black for obvious reasons. You have some limited edition ones, which are absolutely gorgeous too, but do you think those will be as timeless? Also, what are your thought about the ultra matte? That one is calfskin, meaning it is more durable.
I have a vintage medium Chanel double classic flap in lambskin, so I'm scared it will have the same look/feel if I use it as an evening bag.
I also love the nude/blush color, but I mostly wear darks, so colortransfer scares me too 🙈
I would love to know your opinion on this.

I'm not a big fan of the sage color (or green vibes in general) but when I saw the sage Lady Dior, I could just imagine me wearing it with an all black outfit. A surprising pop of color in the middle of winter. Funny enough, I don't think I could see myself wearing it in the Spring which it seems perfect for.

I love that you shared your handbag collection. It has been very helpful for me. I have found that I like more of the Classic ...timeless bags. Loved the Chanel bag. I hope to add to my collection soon. I liked the Lady Di bags from Dior. Don’t get me wrong I like the trendy bags, but can’t justify the investment just yet. After watching the 2020 handbag episode, I bought the LV Pochette this past Fall. I absolutely LOVE that bag too!!! Thank you!

I love all the Lady Dior bags ( they are all so cute), love the Chanel Trendy bag as well as the small black one with the pearls on the strap( forgot the name) and I love the Louis Vuitton Métis Pochette.
I think the LV Métis will be my first luxury bag purchase, it’s a bag I can see myself wearing as a every day bag (not a every day to work bag but like a going out bag, nothing to fancy), I have a very chill style but the Lady Dior’s are so effing cute!!

The best thing about your channel is how informative it is. Have been watching for about 3 years and while I certainly don’t go out and buy everything featured, I have loved and learnt a lot and every now and then I find a product that is exactly what I want or need. By Terry Cc serum, L’Oreal life’s a peach blush, Dennis gross 2-step peel, lano, cosy clothes!, st tropez purity, Dior forever foundation, aerin amber musk, zoflora!, jam shed, all things linen, lemon and ginger tonic lol, hm x Joanna Ortiz... just to name a few. And now, the fendi peekaboo. Every time I see one of them on your channel I think omg I need that bag in my life. 😅 Thanks for adding style, comfort, beauty, confidence, inspiration and aspiration to my life. ☀️
An aside to the hand bags: I am so in love with that Karen Millen leather pencil skirt you brought back in your collection! Loved it when I first saw it on you and still love it to this day. I'm just so gutted that the collection is exclusive to the app, which isn't available in Australia 😭

I had exactly same felling with my chanel jumbo classic, i just didn’t seem to wear it at all . I didn’t fell very comfortable when i wore it on my shoulder. And it couldn’t wear cross body. I sold it and got a mini square instead . Super happy with the decision. :)

Have you considered the Givenchy Antigona Mini in black mock croc with gold hardware? Top handles, detachable cross body strap, structured, fits a lot for a small bag, looks super glam 🖤💛🖤
Can we all appreciate the fact that you KNOW the names to all of your handbags? WOW! I understand what you're saying about the Classic Flap... Although it is a classic, I wouldn't want it either. It's too "heavy" looking for me... I much prefer the Trendy CC or one of the less popular styles.

Amazing video Lydia! I still love my Chanel classic flap. I got it in black lambskin with silver hardware. I feel that the silver makes it a bit more wearable for day to day and less classy. Having had it for a couple years now I do think I would’ve preferred the caviar leather to make it more durable.

I love my Chanel bag! Saved long for this bag (bought the jumbo in 2011) and payed €3110 for it, now it's almost €7000. I will never sell it, BUT if you don't like it you should sell it. Keep what you love. Personally love Chanel bags more then Hermes. Can I also recommend the brand: Delvaux, very classic handbag brand. They are older then Hermes

A truly fabulous collection! The one bag that makes it harder for me to visualize the others is the navy Cappucines. To me, the lines of it are simple and exquisite.

i think it’s because the display shelf she keeps them on is a little too short so she bends the handles a tiny bit so that they fit and aren’t too tall
