Sometimes when I use Geolayers it uses 99% of my ram. (I have 64 gb ram) Normally it uses only 40-50%.. But do you have any idea why I get those "ram spikes " of 99%?
Have you ever opened a project and you get the color bars over where the map should be and it says "reocovered"? Then it says "there is no mapcomp in your project" when there should be

I'm wondering if you are aware of any online communities focused on geolayers. I'm two days into an issue which I'm sort of at wits end with -my features look fine in playback, but when I render the project out the strokes/ polygons start going haywire with flicker. and I'm wondering if there is a better way to troubleshoot without endlessly logging support tickets.
Hey Boone, I recently updated to Geolayers 3 v 1.5.6. Problem is, now the world map comp preview doesn't show the map, just a gray checkered screen. Any clue how to troubleshoot/fix this? Love the vids 🙌

Hey Boon, I am having big problems with the Mapcomp Imagery Preview on the right side of geolayers (the button ehre u can change ("change preview map imagery"), where I can see streetnames, it won't show up it's just grayed out. I can't work with that :( I tried everything, but it won't show up anymore :(

Close out the project. Launch After Effects and then open the project via File > Open command. See if that works/
very interesting! How can I find out wich layers are in fact render intensive? Or is there really just the way to do it by heart
Use the render time column. Or click on that snail icon in the lower left of the timeline panel.

Hmm sorry I don't know of any support groups. I would just keep going with the support tickets, as well as trial and error on your own.

When this happens to me I create a KML file in Google My Maps, which I then import into GEOlayers.

I noticed that there is a recent update with this bugfix. Do the update and see if it's corrected. 😎
