On a real note this podcast is my favorite out there. I’m constantly entertained and intrigued in every conversation. Much love teo and Richard, you guys are my favorite people
This reminds me of some early day Rhett and Link / Good Mythical Morning content which was very entertaining, it'll be cool to see where it goes. The little projects to bring up each episode is great, and I like that it's not strict, like it's not JUST about whatever they had planned, very natural and relaxing
You two always impacted my ideas and views on friendship and it always reminds me and makes me joyous to be reminded of the close bond two really cool humans could share and grow together. thanks for still keeping it real guys...it means a lot to me :)
Kinda sad hearing that Richard got trapped into the "meta-hell" of Genshin. I've been playing the game for almost 700 active days (probably ~1500 hours) and I haven't grown bored to it at all; and I think the main reason to it is that I just play the game completely cluelessly so to speak. I've never watched any guides and whatnot on how to play the game better, 'cause after that amount of hours I think I'm good enough. Also there's plenty of challenge available if one is willing too "nerf" yourself using less than ideal characters. In most cases these tend to be much more fun too.
A fun thing u could do is add stuff on the shelves in the background that was a discussion in the last pod! So like u talked about Minecraft then u could add a grass block on a shelve!
At first I wasn’t intrigued by the idea of teo doing a podcast because honestly idk if Teo could turn streamer mode off lol, but to my surprise I find myself enjoying/waiting for another episode. Since the first episode you could really tell how good of friends they are and their conversations are ridiculous but funny at the same time. Good shit bro, keep the episodes comin
yeah true. a lot of my fam is actually Teo fans (mom, brother, and sister-in-law) but they can't see him as a podcaster for now because of their high standards like YMH, JRE, Flagrant, etc ...
Wait tbh what’s “streamer mode” to you if not the ability to talk and entertain for long periods of time? A Teo podcast seems right up his alley, my only thing was if he had enough interesting things to talk about for a weekly basis and would introduce game segments to make up and reoccur with richard. Like the “homework”
On PoE. you can respec with regret orbs which drop randomly, or you can trade for them. Also the game gives you around 20 respec points through quests. The play the character you want argument is because you'll never have another playthrough to experiment without any knowledge . Also they added another skill tree for endgame. There are tools to help you plan ahead abd calculate your hp / dps based on items skills and the skill tree.
The thing about Genshin Impact is that at the beginning the game was great because of the exploration, new characters, story of the characters etc. and the game was relatively hard because you either lacked food for heals, didn't do much damage and you didn't had characters that healed you or had any good elemental reactions with. Once you've got "all" the characters, farmed all the artifacts for them that gave you god tier stats, you could start playing the whole game with only 2 characters and their elemental reactions because that's all you needed to wreck enemy camps, the game just feels stupidly easy and there's basically no reward for that. Even though I have spent some money on it and invested 1k hours, I stopped playing it because the game just became too repetitive. Every 8 updates or so the game gets a new region and you basically do what you were doing through out the whole game since the release of the game which is explore, get all the oculuses, collect all the chest for the Primogems (the only thing worth something) and do the one time use dungeons for again Primogems and that's it. After you've done all that then the only thing that's left in the game are the events that are worth playing only for the Primogems and farming items and arifacts for the upcoming characters. I'm gonna go back to this shitty ass game but only when the game will be fully released with all the regions and story quests because that's the only thing besides the waifus and husbandos that kept me from leaving the game.
That Genshin talk at the end is oddly similar to how my friends answered when I asked them why they play Genshin so much, because I don’t get the fun of it. They tried to make it seem reasonable but, it just goes down to “I’ve already went this far into the rabbithole” or “pretty ladies go brrrr”
Spot on about E3, it's a shame but it was always coming. Coz companies realized that it's cheaper to showcase in-house. Coz the benefits of the event and atmosphere and stuff didn't really benefit the mass companies. It was good for smaller studios and maybe some lesser known games to build hype and network with industry professionals as well as their consumer's but like you both noted, companies realized after covid that they can just do their own sh*t at a fraction of the cost and input.
Oh I remember cold milk … am still waiting your response and story about it and for our legend max if you feel like talking about with Richard , a good bro mance and talk for feelings out
I thought Richard liking Genshin was a twitter joke, but he's absolutely right about the game. Kept playing just bc I'd been playing for so long, bc I spent some money, and I even had friends who bought me primogems as a gift.
I watched the podcast episode where the name origin was revealed but I kinda forgot what the story was and where it was told. So I kinda appreciate the repeat telling
wow you guys just unlocked a memory of mine, watching your minecraft videos. One of which where you showed of the castle and a "maze(?)" And the video of you looking for a wolf. Good times.
Please make the playlist in chronological order! As a frequent listener of many podcasts, it's unbearable to listen to episodes backwards or forcing myself to click at each episode separately. One of the reasons i abandon many podcasts, and i love you guys bantering, so please, remake the playlist.
A pleasant surprise to me was that AC:Valhalla runs fine without network connection/server connection the only thing that doesn't work is the store and highlighted screenshots from other players
AFTER YEARS OF WAITING….. IF FINALLY GOT MY ANWSER. I know it’s so stupid but ever since the OG podcast I’ve been curious and after years I get the anticlimactic answer. I couldn’t have hoped for a better answer I am beyond joyed to get the reason for Colder Milk.
since crassus died decades before Jesus was even born, I'd say if he arrived at the pearly gate, he's more likely to say "jupitor's cock" instead of repenting
I know I'm late to this, but I love these podcasts and it's great to listen to in the backround! When Teo said Genshin Impact LOOKS like shit though... that hurt me, because the game, open-world, music, is just incredible. My best friend loves just taking screen shots in the game to use as wallpapers. And when exploring a new area, hearing the OST for the first time, I'll sit still to just listen to the music. And some boss fight OST's are amazing too. I feel sad that Genshin is not known for the music and art they produce and rather they're just shit on for being this Weeb gacha boobie game lol. Rant: The reason I have so many hours in the game, is because when a new region comes out, there is a whole new BEAUTIFUL world to explore, world quests, chests to find, either by defeating enemies (ez) or sometimes puzzles or new mechanisms specific to that region/area. In the Electro region (Inazuma), some puzzles were actually so difficult (without help from UA-cam) that it took me around 1 hour to figure out and do right. I'm obsessed to 100% complete each area/island in each region. And it might seem crazy to run around for hours trying to find everything, but when the game is as pretty as it is, with nice music too, it's really not difficult to walk or climb everywhere. The story used to keep me hooked a lot in the beginning, and the great animated cutscenes are always a joy to experience. Now I'm burnt out though, and I just log in everyday to do daily missions so I can earn the currency used to wish in the gacha system whenever a character I want is released. Getting a new character though, is really fun, because then I will spend all my time to go to different domains to collect the materials needed to build that character STRONG. Collecting artifacts is a pain becasue the stats you get are random, and getting a good stat is on a much lower chance, so the joy of FINALLY getting good artifacts to give my character makes all the grind worth it. Monthly/Weekly events are shit sometimes, super boring, but I get gacha money out of it, so I do it. Sometimes they release a main event which is kind off, a really big event with a big story, with important characters involved, so those are really enjoyable to play through. Though it's not often. The main story quests can be really good sometimes, for me it depends on what characters are involved and how deep the story is. Genshin is not GREAT in many ways, infact, Genshin players complain the most about the game more than anyone else. But we can NEVER complain to the art design team, or musical team, because they are truly the ones who make the game so great to experience.
Tried to cheat some cash in Far Cry 6 and managed to destroy my game, cuz it is unable to connect to the servers anymore and because of that, I am unable to play the singleplayer part of the game anymore.
Three episodes in and they’ve moved into a new studio 😮. The podcast must be making bank
gotta make room for some temple run gameplay
On a real note this podcast is my favorite out there. I’m constantly entertained and intrigued in every conversation. Much love teo and Richard, you guys are my favorite people
Why does it say your comment was a day ago when the video was just uploaded 25minutes ago 😮

Thanks for finally talking about colder milk. It was kind of an anticlimactic way, but now we know.
it would be cool if over time you add big memory moments on the shelves, like an object which resembles a moment
A ✨Moments✨ feature
Brilliant idea
@@dr.schnaabel8210 ahahah yea
Great idea
Yes! Finally a new episode, have been looking forward to this for weeks now.

the tv in the background is such a smart way to show images and videos without just overlaying them goddamn sunset!
Omg a hero’s reference??? Heard “peter petrelli” and I was frozen finally hearing someone else confirm that show existed

The nails in the walls are almost braille like. A secrets message hinting at a secret project or something of the like would be some next level stuff!
I loved watching the LagX minecraft server on the background!
Glad the tiny mugs made their way to the new studio
A fun thing u could do is add stuff on the shelves in the background that was a discussion in the last pod!
So like u talked about Minecraft then u could add a grass block on a shelve!
Now i know where coldermilk originated
love the new background, feels a lot less claustrophobic!
I'm a lifelong console gamer and a lifelong E3 enjoyer. I always used to get so hyped for it!
the tiniest of mugs in the foreground make teo's irl mug look fucking giant
Background is cozy but I love the doppio cups ❣
I'm not sure if I'm dissapointed or surprised of the fact that the name Colder Milk is just cold milk

i came out the womb burning with the curiosity of why 'Colder Milk'
and this is what i get
