That's a lot of runway that's taking up!
Yes, airport runways can indeed occupy a significant amount of space due to the length required for aircraft takeoff and landing. The length of a runway depends on various factors, including the type and size of aircraft that will be using it, prevailing weather conditions, and safety regulations. This ensures that there is enough distance for aircraft to accelerate for takeoff and decelerate upon landing, promoting safe operations 🙂👍
Cant believe how uneven that runway is 😂
Lots of people always notice that 🤣Once you are on the plane, you don't feel that. It's a long zoom lens effect
I’m sorry, but something so big, so beautiful, so strong, just has to be masculine in my book, (even though planes are referred to as ladies). The takeoff is a master of conquering the air, and I love it.!!! A380-800 design magnificence.
I totally agree! Thank you for taking the time to comment and share your thoughts. It's always intriguing to explore different viewpoints and interpretations. The takeoff of an aircraft truly showcases its mastery in conquering the air, and it's wonderful to hear that you find it captivating. The A380-800 is indeed an engineering marvel, representing a remarkable achievement in aviation design.
Brilliantly caught! Nice to see the A380 back at BHX
Thanks a lot! Yes it's great to see A380 at Birmingham airport again

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Birmingham has a airport ???
Birmingham is the second largest city in United Kingdom
This badboy flew over me few weeks back love it very loud Emirates on bottom clear as day even so high up.Some RAF big bird did about 20 mins ago aswell hence why im here trying to find out whats happening or if im imagening this 😂
Why does the runway look so bumpy?
Specific landscape area.
Those runway slopes are within the limits. It probably cost more money to make it flat. That is normal for an airport runway. 😊
Again the pilot waved here
Wish one would land in Indianapolis. Few 747’s but no 380’s
Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is not designed to handle the Airbus A380. The A380 is an extremely large aircraft, requiring specialized infrastructure and facilities to accommodate its size and weight. It requires longer runways, wider taxiways, and gates with dual-level boarding bridges.
Indianapolis International Airport primarily serves domestic and regional flights, and its infrastructure is not built to accommodate the A380. Therefore, it is unlikely that the airport would be able to handle regular A380 operations.
@@topfelya I figured that was the case but thought if a 747 could land there a 380 could as well
@@johncollins9111 It could land at Indianapolis but there no airport facilities. Airbus A380 used to be a regular visitor at Farnborough airshow. The runway at Farnborough airport is only 8000 ft
Record video from sheldon park
The engineer that paved that runway must have been drunk.. more ripples then my x-wifes mom
