Homelander should use her to reveal Sister Sage real plans. Also gotta feeling if Cate is still in this season, she would turn Starlight and Kimiko against each other.
Her manipulation power doesn’t/wouldnt work against the alpha supes like homelander and veronica. She’d be dead for trying it, just exactly why Veronica doesn’t try to pop homelanders head. It wouldn’t work and hed rip her spine out for the insult. Hence why they’re looking for the virus.
It is so sad to me that Hughie ended up having to be the one to end his Dad's suffering, when it could have just been done peacefully and without all the trauma. 😢
not sure if they ever explained how hugh sr. ended up in the hospital in the first place, but in the end he did go peacefully. unfortunately, the same can't be said for his incidental victims.
@@vinsanity40k he was there because he had a stroke! They say it on the phone call from the hospital to Hughie, I believe. Either then or as Hughie is standing in the hospital room looking at him for the first time in the bed
This might not be my top favourite episode of the Boys ever, buttt, this episode has some of my favourite small moments, both humour and drama wise. The small Butcher and Kimiko moment, MM's mini rant at everyone, Frenchie's sheep line, Hughie and his father's scenes (and the acting), and we get a few interactions we don't usually see, like Vic and Annie, plus Cate and Sam cameos! I think with Homelander and Ryan, its the matter of, well in simple terms, punitive justice, versus restorative justice, and the thing is, John doesn't really have a good neutral, understanding or perspective. He has far too much power beyond that of his peers, so has no oversight, he is also petty and sensitive, in ways which make sense based on his upbringing, but aren't great for a person in a position of power or authority. Ryan is so young too, so whilst Becca was probably a great parent... I also think its compelling viewing, because I think Butcher and Ryan bring out the best in each other, Butcher is more sensitive, thoughtful, warm, honest, transparent, soft. Ryan gets sincerity and someone with a strong connection to his mother. Though weirdly, Ryan also tends to bring out the best in John as well... Some of the more normal and relatively respectable Homelander moments are when he is around his son, and learning to be... uh well better?! The only issue is that John tends to bring out the worst in Ryan and thats a scary dynamic and big concern for the people in that universe. Great editing as always though too. Is nice getting a video per episode!!
Butcher is no longer in charge of Butcher. It's the sentient Venom like worm inside him that's in control. I'm thinking Becca is Butchers conscious coming through but Kessler is the evil parasite Venom that is in control now.
Honestly I hate they went their route because in the comics it was in butcher’s nature he was never a good guy which I had no problem with because I liked him being a cold blooded ruthless psychopath who always greets everyone with an emotionless smile
@@tonydaza8504People that like those dogshit comics are weird. Butcher & the other characters have got so much depth in the show. Butcher is fighting the literal overpowered villains. He's the most traumatic human in this show & yet still has good in him. That's saying something. Literally saved the boys multiple times, in this season as well as previous seasons, more than they have his.
Cameron did not deserve to die like that, Ashley is a terrible person for what she did. He was a douchebag sure, but sending him to his death only because he didnt want to be her sex slave anymore? That is cruel and unfair. Although i also get that she took it as an oportunity to protect A Train because they are somehow allies now, but still, you can see she was enjoying it while the poor guy was pleadIng. Details like that are important to me when liking a character or not. Sure she may have done good deeds in the past but this is still a cruel thing to do. It kinda saddens me a bit that he was also mocked before being killed. Imagine that the guy that beats you to death makes sure that you know he is going to please your wife in bed after, i dont like the Deep, i believe he will kill more people in the future and seeing where his character is going, i dont think they are going to reedeem him
bruh cate is so overpowered , she can simply go around vought touching everyone and end this series in a single episode

shhh don't tell them 🤫

He got to have a proper goodbye with him at least, tell him how he's his hero. Not leave his fathers last interaction with him as just a voicemail
