This episode was the hardest episode to watch for me yet. I felt so on edge and my blood pressure was through the roof.
I have a feeling Butcher is going to be patient zero for the new virus, knowing he has little time left. Remember he does have real compound V in him now, so it would work on him. He could then have one last confrontation with Homelander where he gets killed, but his blood ends up infecting Homelander. That sets up Homelander to go crazy next season as he knows his days are numbered.

Sure, Frenchie only got wiped of the things the CIA would know about...but he's been working for Mallory so long, you'd think they'd know all about him.
Granted there are a few "plot holes" that we have to just accept for the sake of story telling, and this one isn't a big deal at all yet. Would just suck to not see Frenchie these last few episodes.
