@@Maquenaz My friend set my warly portable crock pot on fire with a torch because he mistook light as like, light a COOKING fire. We restarted because we just couldn't find gold rocks

I just started playing again after a long time. My dumbest mistake is this: I was using the crockpot and I put 2 items in. I didn’t realise it wouldn’t let me cook with only 2 items and I thought it needed to be lit. I took a torch and set it on fire. Yeah. I’m pissed. At myself and the fact a crockpot can burn.
Oasis desert can also be useful when playing on a server with other people because there’s always that one guy that burns down the entire base because they wanted to pick up some meatballs in the middle of summer.
I actually really like being close to pig king, I base outside the village in the forest, there are almost always spider nests and that gives monster meat and is an easy way to friend the whole village. The pigs are really helpful with fighting bosses, cutting whole forests (and taking care of treeguards), and are a pretty steady source of meat. But what I like the most is that they are a quick way to get your sanity back, I know there’s not too many cons for having low sanity but personally I can’t stand the fov and audio effects, so unless I need nightmare fuel I like to keep it high
@@He-mansuckz But why? The pig king isn't something you will constantly need, after one ruins run, you will have backpacks full of gold and probably won't need any more in a very long time.
About dangerous things in the caves: What about depth worms? The very first time I went in to go on a serious cave expedition, I was attacked by a swarm of depth worms within seconds, so I ran away and never went back.
They're easy to kite, and it will be extremely unlikely for them to spawn as soon as you enter the caves again. You truly were very unlucky. Caves have lots of extremely useful materials and resources, and are well-worth the dangers awaiting. Although if you aren't comfortable exploring them, it should still be perfectly safe to enter, take some lightbulbs, and leave. It's unlikely the depth worms will attack again I really recommend trying to get those precious lightbulbs :)

As an extension of your first point, I always like to space out rows of resources. It's good for fires because if 1 thing catches on fire only 10 or whatever things get burnt. Assuming you're good on havesting twigs, grass, berries and whatnot when you can you don't really need too many things. I ussually have about 20 of each. Then again, I always play by myself. i was rushing ruins as wortox with my friend as wormwood and he based next to a wormhole that sucks. then he dies to a pig man and rage quits. then after some exploring i find a wormhole in a savannah connected to a forest a spider rock biome and dragonfly desert.
i cant acess the caves because my pc is a absolute tomato and i cany physically run caves but when i do have a cave when i play with my friends i do like staying there for a while since bunnyman farms can be really usefull when playing with more people
Actually, ice. Ice can be replaced by eggs witch can get obtained by monster meat. It saves you time if you play Wendy, or Wolfgang, etc. When walking the distance can cost you some rocks for the thermal stone. But all else is amazing. Thanks for the tips. But If you want cheap meatballs, lure out some spiders, and take them out. Then use 3 eggs and 1 cooked monster meat and boom meatballs. But If you are playing a weaker character, yes. Abuse the living hell out of ice. But really, food isn't much of a problem when you stack up kelp, stone fruits, honey from bee boxes, and the cheap meatballs. Btw kelp is a veggie.... so uhhh peroigis are even more op. So wait... if you can get kelp in winter and summer, ice in winter and butterfly wings in summer, monster meat and eggs in winter, oh. Oh. OOOOOHHHKKKKK
Its really complicated, you gotta first kill the ancient guardian (a 10k health fast more damage rook) on the end of maze on the deep ruins, you will get an ancient key Then you have to find a marble clockwork setpiece, mine them 3, find 3 marble scultupres randomly on the map, bring them (THEY GIVE -95 SPEED WHEN CARRYING, AND YOU CANT USE ANY ARMOR, BACKPACK, ITEM WHILE HOLDING IT) then you bring it to the set piece, set all of them on the right clockwork esculture, then wait for a new moon, in a new moon mine them again, then you will have to fight 3 shadow clockworks, depending how you fight them you can end up with another 10000 hp teleporting rook, then you kill them, you will get a shadow heart Then you go back to the ruins and find the asylum, which is hard to find AND enter, so you enter, get to the end part, you need to get your sanity to 0 to pass the gate, then you set the ancient key, and give the heart to the skeleton there, then a skeleton spawns with (idk how much) but a lot of hp, the fight is impossible at solo
Literally hamering the pig houses is the best thing you could do 2 pig houses gives you the alchemy engine and pig skin then kill the 2 pigs and they give you meat you got an alchemy engine a football helmet and a ham bat.
I survived long enough to make 2 crock pots! befriend 2 pigs make 2 ham bats 2 log suits and 1 football helmet I need to find a marsh next 8:17 yeah like that one
Most the time I base in between a worm hole or a savanna because of beefalo but I dont really use beefalo for protection I shear them for winter clothing and for meat during winter
İ dont think basing at pig king is bad because you can easily get infinite gold with a spider farm and a bird cage and you can just hammer the houses to make a pig farm if your world has the pig village too this is a great way to get a very important item the pig skin but you probably should do this if you know what you are doing so for new players its probably just better to get valuable items and move to a better place damn i wrote an essay i guess i should say thanks for coming to my ted talk too
wait why is the cacti considered valuable? Is it for healing food made from the crock pot? And for underground bases, what structures do you need to replicate as making everything down in a cave seems extremely time consuming.

If lightning hits your base and everything gets lit on fire it's good to build a snowball thrower
can we have the in depth video on how to get rid of lag
I’d say I usually tend to base in the constant
It took me forever to find someone else who bases in the constant
In my opinion basing on the ocean is best because being on land is just too hard
A video on lag (especially when your solo somehow) would be cool 😎😎
If you want to save everything from fire on phone just tab out and clear all so that it brings to latest save, watch out that you have auto save on so that it saves a bunch of time. On pc just alt f4
dumbest mistake i've ever made: putting my lantern down while a bunch of monkeys followed me into the ruins.
let's jsut say i dont play that server anymore
8th mistake:
Playing wes
Tbh you need to move to different parts of the game, like try challenges like Orange does. Or get pity points like Slasher. Spice up the content don’t just continue with the mistakes videos
yes challenge mods are sometimes pretty fun.
Grass grows, birds fly, sun shines and brother, Edgy Rick tells some of us how we can improve at a game by telling us.. we dumb some times.
Dumber than 6 stacks of flint in a (insert generic newbie here)
i hate edgy rick, yes I agree he’s just toxic and tells people that they r retarded if they get hit once
Hes tried challanges. The thing is orange has a fun personality he is entertaining to watch. People watch rick for the most efficient way to play. I have seen his challange videos and hes pretty boring.
Slasher and Beard are the best dst youtubers you cant change my mind
Holy shit they sponsored a channel with only 50K subs? I guess it is true.
‘We’re everywhere you can’t stop the ads. Sponsored by every UA-cam and their dad.’
Oh no even Edgy has joined the evil side of Raid shadow legends
Ya I learned the hard way with basing at the pig king. Werewolf pigs killed me quickly.
Yes please a video on how to remove lag
i was rushing ruins as wortox with my friend as wormwood and he based next to a wormhole that sucks. then he dies to a pig man and rage quits. then after some exploring i find a wormhole in a savannah connected to a forest a spider rock biome and dragonfly desert.
Runescape soundtrack fit perfectly in your videos!
Did you ever make that video on fixing the lag? I couldn’t find it

My dumbest death was accidentally dropping a bunch of bees on the ground while trying to put them in a chest. Couldn't even be mad, just had to laugh
Basing in the caves is insanity for the spring. It's constantly raining down there. You really should of listed that.
We've lost rick to raid shadow legends. Rip
he put this sponsorship in mistakes video...

@@Thispersonisreal Conensidence? I think not.
I like the RuneScape music in the background
I have not slept tonight I have school today and I'm watching this my sleep schedule has been thrown out the window help
Yo love your vids rick
My reason for not turning on caves is my computer sounds like an aeroplane engine and takes a day to boot a game
i cant acess the caves because my pc is a absolute tomato and i cany physically run caves
but when i do have a cave when i play with my friends i do like staying there for a while since bunnyman farms can be really usefull when playing with more people
nice runescape music enjoyed the video much : D
Thanks for adding Runescape muic in the background
Or the godfather of food himself, the almighty, the one, the only, peroigi. Wait is kelp is a vegetable in DST right? Lemme Google that.
AAAAAAHHHHHH WHAT THE **** IT IS
I was today years old when I realized that there was an end game goal to Don't Start Together... I play this to pretend I'm camping mid-pandemic.
Its really complicated, you gotta first kill the ancient guardian (a 10k health fast more damage rook) on the end of maze on the deep ruins, you will get an ancient key
Then you have to find a marble clockwork setpiece, mine them 3, find 3 marble scultupres randomly on the map, bring them (THEY GIVE -95 SPEED WHEN CARRYING, AND YOU CANT USE ANY ARMOR, BACKPACK, ITEM WHILE HOLDING IT) then you bring it to the set piece, set all of them on the right clockwork esculture, then wait for a new moon, in a new moon mine them again, then you will have to fight 3 shadow clockworks, depending how you fight them you can end up with another 10000 hp teleporting rook, then you kill them, you will get a shadow heart
Then you go back to the ruins and find the asylum, which is hard to find AND enter, so you enter, get to the end part, you need to get your sanity to 0 to pass the gate, then you set the ancient key, and give the heart to the skeleton there, then a skeleton spawns with (idk how much) but a lot of hp, the fight is impossible at solo
I come to your videos for the info and stay to jam out to RuneScape tunes.
Literally hamering the pig houses is the best thing you could do 2 pig houses gives you the alchemy engine and pig skin then kill the 2 pigs and they give you meat you got an alchemy engine a football helmet and a ham bat.
Love watching your videos
Now just make a guide about easy meat and pigskin
I survived long enough to make 2 crock pots!
befriend 2 pigs
make 2 ham bats
2 log suits
and 1 football helmet
I need to find a marsh next
8:17 yeah like that one
Sorry, but I personally don’t like ham bats. I feel like they spoil a little too fast. I would prefer a wigfrid spear instead of that.
I got 2 wormholes which teleports me in 2 opposite corners of the map, the pig king all this it's near the spawn lol.
