Yes! Also, if you want to try new ways to cook salmon, please please check out Adam Liaw’s video of typhoon shelter salmon recipe, so easy and flavorful, I know you and Jaclyn will LOVE it!
Yes. I enjoy the way you explain everything you are doing, very thoroughly. Love your recipes videos. The only recommendation I would give is when you do the turkey with the taco seasoning… make your own taco SEASONING .. it’s so much better. I also will zest in lime in the homemade taco seasoning it’s bomb
My favorite thing about this video is how low key it is. I love how comfortable and natural you are today. It felt like I was meal prepping with my brother or a close friend or something ☺️
This is my favorite video so far! Seriously, thank you for doing this! It has helped me cook for my family without making the same things over and over!
Can you show us some ideas of what you do with these proteins! I love the idea of keeping everything simple! It sounds life changing! First time watching and love the video!!!
Wow I just discovered you! Being a widow with a young child this makes my day.. hubby was the chef so I’m learning haha love that they are easy and quick for busy lifestyle 🥰
Farnum, when cutting onions try this trick: wet a paper towel and set it next to your chopping board while chopping the onions. The wet towel absorbs the strong scent of the onions and it reduces the crying! Works for me every single time! Keep the videos coming! I love your channel! Lots of love from the Netherlands
I’d definitely like to see more of this content! Just a few questions though: 1) You said this is for a full week can you be more specific on how this lasts you a full week like meal examples? Like how you do the taco meat with what and the chicken etc. I know you briefly mentioned it, but I’m a visual person. I need to see them as complete meals.😅 2) Is this several meals a day for each of you? Ie lunch and dinner? Or just lunch meal prep? 3) What are your healthier/easy breakfast go-to options throughout the week?
Yes please!! More of these. I am on my health journey right now and this was sooo extremely helpful. Heading to the grocery store this weekend to prep following your tips. Thanks so much!!
Love this video! Would also really love if you can show us how you switch up the flavors of the meat and fish you prepped! What are some of your favorite dishes you make with them throughout the week? Would love to see and get ideas!!!
My life has been forever changed, I had no idea that it was possible to shred chicken in a stand mixer!!! Like what!!! Here I was using a fork like an absolute cave woman, this is truly amazing haha. Thank you
My son and I love salmon, my go to is either Blackened seasoning with raspberry chipotle or Blackened seasoning with a citrus blend by dash! Love the ideas!
Would love to see how you use these ingredients throughout the week! ‼️Word of warning, don’t peel potatoes into the sink/down the drain - it’ll ruin your plumbing 😬$$$$$ (speaking from personal experience 😅)
Lots of good tips! I’m going to be trying a lot of this. I think a grocery shop with you guys of a meal prep shopping list type video would be super cool too! Love you guys 🥰
Make sure you lock the bowl into the stand mixer at the back before you turn it on. I know people told you to use the whisk, but it will break it eventually. Flat beater is the way to go.
If you put a small bowl of water nearby while you chop onions, they won’t make you cry. The gas released from the onion is attracted to the nearest water. The water bowl attracts it to the bowl instead of your eye,
Thank you. I was looking for some ideas, and these were perfect for some meal prep basics for the week. I made the shrimp and shredded chicken. I didn't realize how quick and easy shrimp cocktail is to make.
I live with gym rats and this is exactly how we meal prep every Sunday. BUT I’m the only one who likes to change it up 🙄 would love to see a healthier section on your channel to get ideas from😋
Love this one. So simple to meal prep like this. I feel there’s plenty of videos but not as simple as yours. Love it!!!! Now I can stick with my gym and eat right. Gains!
This is so helpful! Thank you for making this video! I'm about ready to have my baby in about 2 weeks so this will absolutely help me during the week. I would love to see the different types of seasonings you use/meals with the proteins to give more ideas!
Shredding meat is an easy way to stretch your protein for those on a food budget (most of us are with inflation!). I use shredded chicken for Laksa, stuffed capsicums (peppers), pasta bake, enchiladas and salads. Pulled pork can be used in sliders, tacos, nachos, baked potatoes, pizza. ☺️
Glad I found your channel. I'm on my 3rd week of meal prepping to fit my macros and I play it safe and stick to the same things. I love how clean your info and advice is. Thanks! Subscribed.
Totally agree with the neutral seasoning. I was doing the same thing, making it all italian style and then getting annoyed when I wanted a more mexican flavor. You can always throw sauce on it later to pair with the rest of your meal. I love how simple this is. I fell off the meal prepping wagon and need to get back on because I love the ease through the week and how I eat much more healthy.
OK so onions...I have found the best hack not to tear up when cutting them. It sounds weird but it works 99% of the time. When I cut onions I rub my tongue on the roof of my mouth and/or will hold some water in my mouth and swallow as I am cutting then sort of rub my tongue on the roof of my mouth a few times and swallow. I know it sounds weird, but I swear it works most of the time. Loved this one....the idea of shredding the chicken and using it different ways is a great tip!
I do the same with my cucumbers except I add a pack of Truvia and a little water. I also add thinly sliced red onion and cherry tomatoes. I like the seasoned rice vinegar.
I love these videos from you. I’m working on changing my diet so these healthier options are amazing. I will be having gastric bypass surgery the beginning of 2023 and appreciate this content so much. Thank you thank you 🙏
I love the meal inspiration!! Chicken texture will be even better if you dry it off with paper towels to get some of the packaging residue off before going in with olive oil/seasoning! Bonus points if you score it a bit to let seasoning sink in more
Omg I make my things the same way. My chicken salads rock. I add carrots, celery, peppers, cucumbers , sunflower seeds, dried cranberries , egg cheese. Add chicken and then dressing g of choice I make my potato same way. Cook in oven. Peppers and onion same. Then I do cucumber salad. Add onion and tomatoes and vinegar and oil. Yum. Love these videos. So helpful
Loved the simplicity!!!! Just a tip, try using the Instant pot to make shredded chicken it's easy and quick, it'll save you some oven time and less prep!
I REALLY enjoyed this video! I’m terrible with coming up with foods to pair together and how to season them, as far as how I want to do it, and this gave me new ideas. Please do more meal prep videos!
This could not have come at a better time! Me and my bf are on our health and fitness journey and struggling with the meal prep! This is so easy! Thank you!(:
You’ll actually get better results with that chopper if you’ll just put it in & twist it in the meat to break it up, rather than hitting/stamping it, which sort of bruises the meat and can make it tough. Also, if you’ll ask for a center cut of salmon, you won’t have to deal with those thin parts that overcook before the thicker part can get done. Just some extra tips if you want them, but I love to watch your show 😘💋!
Would you like to see more of these?

My favorite thing about this video is how low key it is. I love how comfortable and natural you are today. It felt like I was meal prepping with my brother or a close friend or something ☺️
Okayyyy!
Yessss perfect way to explain it! It feels like my big brother is teaching me stuff. Even though I’m definitely older than him lol 😂
I agree! It was just him handling things, it was chill, informative, and funny. Great to watch and very helpful. :) Thank you!

Happy this could make things a little easier for you!
I’m totally inspired to meal prep like this!!! Instead of 5 or 6 days of the same thing, you’ve got variety👏🏼
Exactly!!

Never worked for me.
It's a gas, so it's going to escape.
I’m a Dutchie as well
I’ve tried so many times. It doesn’t work 😩
@@FarnumGrindtime Just get the gas mask out 😂😂
I love this idea as you are not eating the same thing 5 days in a row and you can make so many recipes with this prep.. GENIUSSSSS
TikToks of your actual meals with this?? What I eat in a week/day videos? This came at the perfect time. Thank you!
You just changed my life. 🤤 The cucumber with vinegar and chili flakes is so simple yet AMAZING. Thank you.

Hmmmm
i love how laid back this video is! love the vibes
I am confused about your name, in your videos it is Farnum but in Jaclyn’s videos she call you Jordan?? 😀😅
Yes please!! More of these. I am on my health journey right now and this was sooo extremely helpful. Heading to the grocery store this weekend to prep following your tips. Thanks so much!!
Genius. I love it! Not a fan of meal prepping that same exact dish for the week. Very boring! This creates a variety and excitement!!!!!
LaddyWuDill
Try the wet napkin on the cutting board to prevent your eyes from watering when cutting onions. It worked for me ☺️🙏🏻🙏🏻 #ThanksTikTok
I do this also! Definitely works

Need a part two of you creating different foods with what you prepped. What different meals you’re able to create!
If you wet a paper towel and set it next to the onion while you cut it, you will never cry cutting an onion again! Love your videos!!!

Lighting a candle next to the cutting board as you chop onions is the only trick that works.
Onions are so high maintenance 😪
Loved this! It all looks amazing and easy to grab throughout the week which I need!
Love this. Super easy and not intimidating at all. Would love to see how you spice it all up and the meals you can make with all that you prepped.
Your best video to date!!!!

Loved the ground turkey idea. I will be making it!
This is actually super helpful! I love the way you thoroughly explained how to cook things.

With the onion they also say to rinse with cold water and keep the root on the onion while you are cutting it and should cause less tears.
Love these healthier type videos. I would really like to see what you come up with as meals through out the week with these items as a base!
