"Oh no, what happened? Oh no, how terrible! That's just awful, how terrible oh no!"
I read that in a Scottish accent...
Lost all respect for the dude after he said that about terrorist attacks.

@@mordreek are you talking about count dankula?
McKinsey BELIEVED: If you get a trophy wife you are more likely to get rich
What studies SHOW: If you are rich you are more likely to get a trophy wife
Imagine how stupid (or lying themselves blue) people at McKinsey must be to think it was the other way around.
Wait a second... You're telling me a communist lied?
Say it isnt so
Are you calling a consulting firm that only cares about capital communists?
Yes, the capitalists screwed up again.
Communists don't lie. Neither does the US government and its three letter agencies.
It happens which is why when talking the USSR Reagan would say, "Trust, but verify".
Must be a day that ends in "y"!
Who would have known that appealing to minorities, I repeat _minorities_ as in 5%, 10% or even 30% of the population doesn't bring as much profit as appealing to 70%, 90% or even 95% of the population.
Absolutely shocked and stunned to also discover this information lmao, who could have possibly foreseen this outcome?
Those numbers are way too big.
Out of thay % how many of them are even interested in this stuff?
And out of those what % will actually turn into customers?
You dont need a business major to know this sht woudlnt work in the long term

@@Wolf_ManJack this is because they took us for granted.
To this day, it's men that go to these trash SW and Marvel movies.
Who would have ever thought, even for a second, that allowing an ideology run by front-holers who h8 men, to ram their ideology into male-oriented franchises, would eventually run those customers off?
Nothing makes me happier than to see Hollywood losing money
what they get for letting stupid people be in charge of things, Hollywood really thought they could change the culture, yeah sorry you can't when you are trying push something that is universally hated
Just when they are losing even more.
They don't care about money because Black rock is funding them. If you want black rock to go down stop going to the grocery store
They aren't it's tax funded. They have the last laugh, think outside the box.
they can put people from every race but not like they are doing it right now, they gave us Finn and Rose Tico, well, they should have gotten a handsome black guy and a model looking asian woman but no, they went the ugly way with both. Mary Jane Watson? Mooochelle? whatever, they wanted a black girl, then give us one with ( . ) ( . ) and ( I ) , not a gecko looking one.
How effing stupid did these CEOs have to be to have been to believe such obvious counter intuitive bs?
It started in academia, purposely, so by the time these people got into workplaces they were already “read into” the nonsense.
It doesn't make sense does it? They always try to get the best people for their companies, but this idea is nothing like this. It is hiring people for their skin color, sex, and gender identity. Is it any wonder that they would not be really good at their jobs?
They aren't stupid. They are ideologs with delusions of grandeur. They believe this stuff and they really thought they could take IPs and build from them their dream audiences. Every corporation is filled to the brim with these people.
once again, what nerdrotic and the fake conservatives on youtube wont tell you. the aim is NOT to make money, it is to SPREAD THE MESSAGE as part of the cultural marxism campaign to destroy the west and destroy the white race. but if he said that he would have to call out the tribe who are behind it all and he would never do that.
They weren't stupid. The are just beholden to the lenders. They HAD to get a high ESG score to get any funding. I'm not letting them off the hook. But they were captured by BlackRock, VanGuard, etc. Corporate America is trapped in a scene from a mob movie. BlackRock came rolling in and basically said "I'd hate for something to happen to your company. You think maybe you should get that ESG score up?"

It's very strange how people who claim to hate capitalism and big corporations suddenly start promoting capital with big corporations in the name of "diversity." The funny part is that the contradiction, and scam, doesn't actually result in revenue, as we clearly see.
Tribalism will make you bask in cognitive dissonance.
Thank you for pointing out that these people are capitalists, bad ones, but still capitalists. And not incorrectly calling them communists just because you don’t like them.
I agree, but the opposite is also true. I love these channels, but what's clear about the collapse of Hollywood (and other industries) is that capitalism has hit its peak.
Adam Smith never used that word. The word was coined to criticize the end result of an unregulated free market: Capitalism means rule by banks and financiers.
Marx would hate these Hollywood types, and they'd find him toxic as fuck.
@@samgrisham1147 They're not capitalists, they're a bunch of quacks trying (could say succeeding) to hijack capitalism. A capitalist wouldn't intentionally torpedo their own company's/industry's profits for some fictional standard that has nothing to do with making money. Are they communists? Don't know, but they're far more likely to be a communist than an actual capitalist based on their behaviour.
That's because in contemporary Marxist doctrine, the "cultural underpinnings" of capitalism must be destroyed *before* the capitalist economic system can be made into a socialist one.
So. To them it isn't hypocrisy to use corporations to destroy - religion, family, art, basically whatever they chose as a target. In the best case scenario, they waste the money of wealthy investors do drive a corporation into the ground while eroding "capitalist cultural structures." For the Marxist, it's win-win-win.
I remember when an actor was required to have a certain number of small films for film festivals, theatre work, commercials, and even extras work to be considered for a major role in a show or movie. Now it's worse than your local High school's theatre Christmas show.
Now they get Roles based on their gender, sexuality and the amount of Melanin in their skin.
I take offense to that, my Highschool theatre class were actually quite entertaining and did great in their plays, and I'm not a play goer.
👍👍👍😄 Flash mob-experience.
Lucas was great at casting no-name actors. It CAN be done. But only by competing people.
Another gift of the 'participation trophy' era
I used to spend at least $50 a week on Marvel comics. Around 2015, I stopped buying a few titles, and then, by 2016, I wasn't buying new Marvel comics anymore; only older issues. There are no words that can fully describe what these people have done to comic books. They have poisoned the wells of culture.
same with music
Pretty sure comics companies were ground zero for the outbreak of the epidemic mind-rot contagion. Not comics themselves, comics companies.
@@StickySyrupEverywhere They were. They were the first to do it, followed by TV shows, then movies, then games. It was a slow drip feed - they picked the nichest hobby, where there's less likely to be noise and then spread like a disease. The lack of an outcry when it first happened is why it's been allowed to spread as far as it did.
"Poisoned the Wells of Culture" is a hell of a good quote 👍

"And the methodology of McKinsey's early studies, which helped create the widespread belief that diversity is good for profits is being questioned."
Now? It's being questioned _now?_ As opposed to _before_ diving headfirst into it? It took 'em nine fucking years to start digging into the methodology? It takes nine years of dwindling profits to notice they made a misstep? Bullshit.
Nobody takes that much of a break from looking out for their own bottom line, particularly those whose entire professions are (supposedly) about generating profits. What's happening now is that the bonus "donations" they've been receiving from certain organizations for going whole hog into DEI are either being scaled back, not keeping up with inflation, or just not making up for the fact that their companies are dying. And now they want to plead ignorance. "We were all led astray by big bad McKinsey!" Yeah, right.
Exactly this. They didn't care because they found a different revenue stream divorced from actually running their businesses as businesses. They didn't care and just stupidly assumed or hoped the money train would last forever. Turns out you can't just burn money in a giant pit forever. And the people at the top won't care because when things start to turn they'll cash out with massive golden parachutes and not care how much devastation they caused.
McKinsey is known in the general business world too. Big firms in multiple sectors hire them to audit and tell them how to run their business. Ask anyone who’s worked for a company for a long time what happens when McKinsey comes to town….its always ridiculous.
Shame that people buy into this sham just because a "consultant" tells them. Typically the saying is "Pay a large sum of money for a consultant to come in and tell you what you already know", and that's been my experience in engineering. If someone comes in and tells you something "revolutionary" or "evolutionary" about your core business, it should be taken with a table spoon full of salt.
I suspect McKinsey is the inspiration for the consultants in the movie Office Space.
@@BowlCrossy ESG is probably to blame and these firms use it to make a sh**load of money.
I hope they'll tackle the thorny issue. of increasing in ice-cream sales in the summer, driving increased shark attack numbers in the summer.
I know of this one instance in my country where one auditing firm was hired to fix the mess of the previous one. Then it was discovered some of the auditors at one of the biggest auditing firms were involved in shady activities, which is ironic when you think about it.
Mckinsey should be sued by investors and companies!
I’m sure they have rock solid clauses in the small print (“everything we say might be bullshit and destroy your business”)
@@ian-flanagan They do. The first rule of consulting is to be liable for nothing. That's why they only provide "recommendations". They genuinely have no skin in the game, they just send invoices.
They didn't have to accept their advice though did they? By now there's been plenty of proof, especially in US entertainment of DEI's utter failure. Yet we're still seeing it. Besides when your actors, showrunners, directors et al spout it because you've chosen people with a non diverse point of view along with access media mates attacking any criticism as istaphobism, how do you reverse that without looking like a complete tosser? We'll have no faith till we see some examples of a reverse but who of them has the balls?
Consulting companies' business is to get more consulting business, not to know the business of the companies who they give advice to.
Spot on. Consultants dabble in a lot of shallow pools, they very rarely know more about a business than the people who work in that field.
They don't understand that outside of USA this diverstity thing doesn't make any sense at all because we are not so multicultural as USA (due to inmigration as a colony), we exist from more than 1000 years ago being the same, and we don't care about race or our origins that much. We don't have racial problems. We are not divided because 98% of the population is from the same race and culture. We don't have the need to be "represented" in stuff made from other countries. We understand that each culture is their own an is not a mess of zoo of everyone there. The companies here who do that is not because the population demands it but because they think (wrongly) that they will make money imitating USA.
Exactly!
Well it happens in France though.
Unfortunately, you'll find DEI deeply rooted in other parts of the world, like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and western Europe. Funny how we don't see people demanding representation in China, India, Indonesia, etc. etc. etc. Pretty much anywhere you find white people, you'll have scavengers looking to push White Guilt.
Don't be bamboozled, Europe has plenty of bigots and wokes all of its own.
98% from the same ethnicity is true only from the 80s or 90s in the west. Since then it's now more like 70 or 80 % due to mass enforced immigration by the ruling establishment classes. Replacement theory is fact in the west. Africa and Asia are still allowed to be 98 or 99% ethnically homogenous.
Wasn’t expecting the themesong to Red Dwarf at the end. Sssshhhh! Don’t tell anyone about Red Dwarf! Unless you want it destroyed like Dr Who 😢
I want them to remake Buckaroo Bonzai. This movie made no sense to me, so I would love to see Hollywood attempt a rewrite of this.
There's another season on the way, let's hope it remains untainted......
Unfortunately, when a company doesn't hire based on legitimate criteria, then the company will most often discover that they're later unable to fire/sack based on legitimate criteria; the illegitimate hiring criteria will subsequently shield those hires from termination for legitimate performance concerns.

That first paragraph = abide by our agenda, and you will be rewarded.
I've been a fan of comic book movies since the 80s. When I got married, my wife knew nothing about that stuff. She went to the movies because I wanted to go. She bought Marvel toys for our son because I did. She went to comic cons because I bought the tickets. She turned into a fan but she wasn't spending the money. I was. After our divorce 5 yrs ago, she'll still say she's a fan but hasn't watched a single show on Disney + and barely seen a movie. So yeah, there are female fans, but there are not nearly as many women spending the money like men do. She wanted to see The Marvels in the thearter but she had no idea who the characters were. Me and son didn't want to see that train wreck so she completely forgot that movie even existed. She still hasn't seen it.
Exactly. Needs a heterosexual male to guide them. None of the intended audience that Disney is going after are autonomous. They all need a male to be their "light" in the darkness. Alone they're all frightened and scared.

You serious?? I hate this wanker cage
The problem with McKinsey's study is that it, like most LGBTQ+/Feminist/Race studies, it suffers from causal reduction fallacies at worst or, at best, claims correlational data somehow intersects the issue as a causative result. By the same reasoning that profits over years are linked to diversity, I could just as easily say that profits increased in these same companies because of job cuts, outsourcing, or global warming. How can they possibly prove that correlation = causation? They can't, but it doesn't stop these "social scientists" from trying to push their agendas by misreading/misinterpreting data.
I'd argue its just your standard bullshit. They wanted a certain outcome, so they manipulated the data in whatever way they could to show that outcome. If management diversity genuinely did result in higher profitability, you can guarantee that whatever evidence they had that genuinely showed this would be getting shouted from rooftops. The fact that the "study cannot be replicated" shows that they had nothing and completely fudged the whole thing.
I never bothered looking into it that closely, given by the time the DEI bus rolled around, I was already tired of looking into some off the Feminist myths (i.e. the Wage Gap), but I just assumed they'd done something completely inappropriate like compare the profits/earnings of huge multinational corporations and then contrasted them against small companies to show that "diversity is good". Small companies will make less and will almost always made up of locals and usually men (nowhere to hide in a small company), whereas your large multi-national companies can offer more money to attract the best candidates from a wider area/larger number of countries, will have more roles available and likely people moving internally within the company that will result in more "diversity". Thing is, that happens naturally, not because they deliberately went out and sought people with certain skin colours and genders.
Funnily enough, recruiting people based on skin colours and genders will get you a room full of people who look different but think the same. The most important part is that performance suffers because you've reduced your candidate pool significantly instead of hiring on merit from the widest selection of candidates.
@@BowlCrossy At the end of the day, this "research" served as support for "forcing behaviours" and all that it entails. Was that the point? Looks like it.
Yep. The main point was to create more work and useless jobs for useless people. The ones pushing this type of thing are parasites.
Diversity is strength is what they have claimed.
I’ve always asked, How?
Never got a response.
Merit is the only thing that matters.
Yes, DEI is didn’t earn it.
The initial McKinsey model is a likelihood model with crazy assumptions made by a couple of women as a career enhancement tool. It was always ridiculous and the business people listening to this should be embarrassed. Instead it has cost trillions of dollars.
I'm gay. I'm 42. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE wanted to see a gay character in my favourite franchises. NEVER.
If I see it, I roll my eyes and it pulls me out of what I'm watching...
Ok, but don't you want to self identify with a Hero character ?
I mean I'm an autistic Electronics Tech, so I identify with Tony Stark... LoL
Is it because all the new characters are so badly written and don't seem remotely like real people ?
I'm on the other side of that argument. I don't mind if they want to create content like that, but at least create something interesting, unique and something that makes sense. Most of the newest writers and showrunners have a real FU attitude, and suffers massively in the creativity and imagination department in current-day Hollywood. They want to pretend that they are innovating something, when it was done DECADES ago. The difference is, THOSE were fun movies to watch - sometimes campy, sometimes cheesy, sometimes schlocky. Never boring, even if it was something that wasn't everybody's preferred genre. Feel good movies that made your heart and mind lighter - not the celebration of victimhood of current day, that needs to target and break down someone else for the sake of social clout or political point scoring.

1:45 "...is being questioned..." FINALLY!! It only took 9 years to start to be questioned!
Why can’t they be like the anime Bleach when it comes to diversity. Doing it cuz it’s something fun to have and instead of only doing it just for the sake of DEI and gaining ESG points.
Edit: my mistake, anime operates on its own separate set of rules that you can’t easily apply to Hollywood because Hollywood is chronically r*arded
Ooh Red Dwarf outro
One of the most admirable and lamentable traits of Americans is that they are remarkably stubborn.
A few years back, I watched a documentary on the Dust Bowl. Unknowingly, the farmer's bad farming practices had heavily contributed to the loss of soil. When experts came and told them to change practices, the farmers scoffed. In the words of one interviewed farmer: We figured that what worked before would still work. We just had to do it *harder.*
Looks like that's what US corporations are doing with "diversity." They implemented it. It failed to deliver. But instead of admitting it failed and retooling into something that works....their solution is "We can *force* it to work. We must do diversity *harder."*
Yes, but doubling-down is always going to be their move when its the only one they have where they have a job at the end of it. Hard to admit you're wrong when your livelihood depends on being "right". That's why you won't see it.

R..Re..Red Dwarf outro?
Cool
I think the initial point was that companies that didnt discriminate or judge applicants based on skin color or other superficial crap and only focused on their abilities and merits were more profitable. This makes sense as theyd be hiring the best people for the job REGARDLESS of race, sexuality, gender etc.
What the corpos heard was 'the more females and minorities we pack into out companies, even if they dont have the qualification or theyre not anywhere near the right fit for the job, will make the line keep going up and up"
It would almosr be comical if so many of my favorite IPs and stories werent ruined in the process of these companies self deleting themselves because...well becajse their GD stupid.
There's a different timeline out there where the corporate world rejected this trash, companies continued to cater to their core markets, we got seven seasons of the Witcher, a well made new SW trilogy, they didn't dig up and remake old classics in a desperate attempt to find and destroy new fan bases, etc. One of the few negatives would be that South Park wouldn't have been as funny due to having less comedic material to work with.
I've noticed recently that whenever I'm in my car and stopped at a red light, if I let out a fart, the light automatically turns green, after only a few moments. I have experimented with different approaches - sneezing, belching and so on - but I have found that the most consistently successful results occur whenever I fart at the traffic lights.
I have also started strategically farting in advance whenever I'm approaching red traffic lights, to try and get them to change. And sure enough, without fail, the light always turns green as soon as I reach them, or very quickly thereafter.
I urge everyone who reads this to try it and see. I know it can be difficult to fart on command, but will the proper training you can do it. And the next time you are stopped on red, let out a fart. You will be amazed at the results!
6:56 Hearing the Red Dwarf theme always makes me happy.
Yet another case of "one study said this amazing thing so lets all do it" but no other studies have been done to corroborate and repeat the findings. Hire the people who are the best at the job. Not the ones you want to give yourself a fully colored marker set.

Christian Bale has had enough of “white guys” running everything in Hollywood and beyond. The actor stopped by AOL Build with his “Hostiles” co-star Rosamund Pike and Wes Studi on December 18 and told the crowd that the reason he moved to the U.S. in the first place was because he wanted his kids to grow up in a “country of inclusion.” Unfortunately, that ideal hasn’t been too much of a reality.

@@LilRebelYell So, it's perhaps not surprising that Gal Gadot has strong opinions on the topic of feminism.
The actress - who had almost given up on her film career when she landed Hollywood's most badass female role - believes anyone who is not a feminist is by default sexist.
"People always ask me, 'Are you a feminist?'" Gadot tells Rolling Stone, in a new interview out this month.
"And I find the question surprising, because I think, 'Yes, of course. Every woman, every man, everyone should be a feminist. Because whoever is not a feminist is a sexist.'"

I won't say the name of the company I work in, but all I can say is when the company went public suddenly we had McKinsey consultants, and when I checked what they do all day it turned out they were attached to our most valuable customers and were redirecting bug tickets that always have top priority to be fixed. I guess this is what they call "consulting" nowadays lol 😂😂
Consulting / lobbying / advising / mediating...
Love the closing theme!
Not only that, but also once you get critics it becomes a personal attack and your ego convinces you that people criticizing you are wrong, because who else fault is gonna be? Yours?! Hence why they ALWAYS think it's about racism or sexism
One of the privileges of being a white male (until recently). You don't assume people are attacking you based on your sex or ethnicity, so you can listen to criticism without being a muppet and when you fail, you attempt some form of self-improvement if you don't want to continue to fail. Maybe its mentally comforting to be able to pin the blame and accountability on some social boogeyman, but it doesn't result in personal growth.

Hardly anyone is opposed to diversity. What many of us are opposed to is the Left's approach to "diversity", which equates to hating Whtes, Men...& especially straight Whte Males. That is NOT "diversity", that is Marxist division. And they prove it themselves every time they release something. The Netflix Witcher show for example made the Witcher a side character in his own show, because of the left's interpretation of "diversity." Compared to HBO's "House of the Dragon", which is "diverse" and we love that show, because it doesn't push one group by hating on the opposing group, which is what the Left always does.
