Not sure if you knew, but Gissi is the hometown of what probably was Abruzzo's most famous politician who ever lived, MP and Minister Remo Gaspari, known as 'zio Remo' (uncle Remo). Although somewhat controversial as many other politicians, he brought a lot of investment to his home town and the surrounding valley, with major development in infrastructure and industry

ciao, I just saw this video. I actually met the owners just a couple weeks ago. I am an american who lives in Gissi full time. I know everyone says their town is the best, but they are wrong, Gissi is the best. HA, I jest. It is a great città

Lovely house. Sounds like a lovely town too. I would pronounce in Italian, Gissi as Jee-See rather than Gissi rhymes with Jiffy. Do tell me if I'm wrong though.
The town is wonderful that’s for sure, glad you enjoyed the video. You might be right with the pronunciation, I am the worlds worst at Italian place names.

So glad you enjoyed it, Gissi is a great place. The closest airport is Pescara, you can fly there direct from Stansted.

Hi, I was just thinking when I was watching your video prior to this one that it would be interesting if you would start doing house tours. And here you are doing them and it's great to see! Do you think you'll ever do any tours of those that are for sale?
Hi Nancy. So glad you enjoyed the house tour, it wad great fun. I hope to do some more soon but doing some that are for sale might upset some of the local estate agents. I will ask one that I know and see what he says.

Is the house on well water or does the town shut off the water at a certain time?
The water is shut off for the town at 7pm.
