See the beauty of vast Italian landscapes, the welcoming people and sense of community, and the slower pace of life. We'll also give you a glimpse of the local culture, food, and what a typical day is like when you live outside of a touristy area. This place reminds me of a small town in Northern Greece where I used to stay with my first boyfriend of 10 years and his mother taught me everything about cooking which stays with me today. The small town I used to stay in was so pretty and as natural and untouched as you could get. The most beautiful place and the best food I have ever eaten in my life was very Greek/Sicilian in everything and never a tourist in sight only the backpacker types that travelled through and that’s the way the residents wanted it. Still very sophisticated but so natural and down to earth and the nicest people ever.

the best pizza in my life was from a tiny seaside town in Calabria like Diamante or Cirella - I it was from a hole in the wall (literally), wood fired, and I believe it only had ham and artichoke on it - but it lives in my memory forever. We were sleeping up in the hills in our kombivan and came down to the village for dinner. Other days we'd enjoy coppa con panna gelati and cream in a village square for passeggiata around sunset when the villagers all dress up to promenade - the young to eye each other and play up, and the old folk to gossip - bel paese - the Italians know how to live.
It's lovely. Slow living in a beautiful village.

Stumbled upon your channel through TikTok. My grandpas grandparents are originally from Fregona Italy. I love seeing the sites of Italy and seeing this video gives me more of an idea of what it could be like from where my family is from. I hope I can go one day

Is this Fanna? My mom is from Cavasso Nuovo. I grew up spending my summers in Cavasso and would ride my bike to Fanna all the time. We still have a house in Cavasso.
My late husband was born in fanna the house was la Madonna do Strada. I was there on 2010, visiting. I love in Canada for a very long time, this is my home.
After living in Canada for so long, it's good to visit, but when it's time to go, I am ready to take off as we say

I wish people would stop exploiting the ridiculous dolce vita myth of italy and making it out to be a Shangri la for arm chair travelers who never come here. Italy is not Disneyland. Doing this is similar to how Italians are stereotyped in American movies. Italy is hard just like any other place, often harder to live in. Strolling through fields in a white dress gets old, then you have to work at some point and one sees its tough.😢

In truth in that area of Italy there is no unemployment and higher quality of life related to other regions of Italy.

Absolutely beautiful scenery and while I’ve never had pizza there, the best pizza I e had was in Naples by far! And the pizza and wine and coke cola just hit so different!

This is so relaxing and beautiful, from us living in hustle and bustle of Milan...trust me I'm lying, even Milan is less stressful than any other big cities we've lived in. The perks of living in Italy is so much thing to enjoy than just working.

Please romanising Italy. For a start, young people just cannot get work in Italy. When I mean young, I mean eighteen to thirty year olds. Most Italians families live in small apartments. The country has a lot of problem’s.

Small town Italy is where it's at. My best memories are from smaller towns that are not that touristy. People go to Italy and see/stay in Roma, Firenze and Milano. Instead we stayed in towns like Padova, Torino, La Spezia, Bologna, Ravenna, Parma, Cortina, Mantova, Spello, Perugia, Sperlonga, Trapani, Selinunte, Taormina, etc... Italians are great people.

in my case I ate probably my best and worst pizza in non-center Naples. I can confirm that eating around in small places sometimes you have really surprising results: one of my best dinners I had, was in a very small trattoria 5Km away from Orvieto. completely managed by a single woman in her 40s-50s. It was really, really good... went there almost by chance.

The food in Europe is different. They ate normal portions for a European.
The ingredients in the USA make the same amount of food contain more calories.
