The North Face Flight VECTIV - Carbon Plate for the Trail ?

The North Face Flight Vectiv is a new shoe that has turned heads based on the success of some TNF athletes wearing it during Fastest Known Times (FKT).
There is a lot to like about the technology used to create a super fast, comfortable shoe with decent responsiveness. But given the shoe’s cost and durability questions, it may not be for everyday runners or used as a midweek trainer.

Thanks for the great review and I can’t agree more! I have bought my second pair of flight vectiv, superb quality and stability which protects my long injured knee ( went through two acl restriction) especially running down the slope. The outsole starting to wear out at 600k which is fairly durable, definitely love it.

Great review. I have to agree with everything you've said about the shoe. I have run nearly 200 k in mine and I love them. I run in Ireland in very mixed terrain and they are just superb. My new favourite shoe

What about in wet icy conditions any feedback?
