Dude, you have my level of crazy with a really good level of sensible. Down to earth reviews, worth listening to and making our own decisions from. Thank you.
Kristian, I think I love you. Seriously though, encouraging comments like yours make a real difference. I’m learning that the early stages of a channel are SO hard! I want to keep the effort high. Keep improving. But very few views so far. Onwards. 🤛🏼
Keep the shoe 👟 reviews coming, its great to get some sensible perspective for kit and if it suitable for UK conditions👍
Thanks Nicholas.
I liked your style of reviewing the shoe. You incorporate humour in your talks. The background music is pretty sick.
I've ordered this TNF Flight Vectiv from the US and I'm waiting MyUS would deliver it to me a few weeks from now.
Subscribed.
Thanks RS. Need to get back doing videos. I’ve had to pause to earn money!
Hey. Any I made the music too!
Love your review and very honest comments. I love it so much and just bought my second pair of this! It’s so breathable and great at up and down the hill, been using them on my daily trail run and will try them in a road marathon next month!
Thanks Mathew, means a lot. Had to press pause on the UA-cam thing to earn some money! Will come back soon. stay safe
and yeah, they're a good road shoe right?!
@@peakproofuk will stay tune for your update! Please stay safe and keep running!
@@peakproofuk unbelievably good for a trail running shoes, the rocker and the carbon plate should have helped a lot.
Really good review. I would love to live somewhere where a white trail shoe makes sense 😂
Ha, thanks Andy! Yes, I’m hoping this is just the launch colour and they’ll do a ‘peat brown’ for the U.K.
Well done review, intriguing shoe! Thanks!
Thanks TheBowerbird. Appreciate the comment.
That intro, awesome….great review
Michael I think I love you. (don't tell my missus)
Good review. Appreciate the information and feedback
Thanks Carl.
Top shoe for the right trails, well done with the review (I've been lucky enough to have been testing these out for the past year, I haven't done a review yet though). It's a tad snowy up here at the moment to be using them much ❄️🏃
Thanks for watching. Yeah I struggled to find the right terrain round here too!
Hey Martin, how’s it going. What’s the width like in your opinion- wider than inov8? Knowing me as you do , Would I be ok?! Thanks
Like the sound of them.
@@movemorenowjames Sorry James, definitely not even close for your feet width wise.
@@movemorenowjames Nice shoe, different feel but not Alta width
Great review. Nicely done. How do you compare it to Cloudventure Peak? I suspect they are both designed to be lightweight and for different surfaces. Thanks much.
Thanks Rajkumar! Cloudventure definitely have a faster turn of speed and would suit shorter races - 20km for normal people / 40km for pros. These suit ultras for anybody - really comfy while still feeling snappy. Wish they had more all round grip. The Peak work on more types of surface.
@@peakproofuk Much appreciation. Thanks a lot.
Have you tried the hoka speed goat 4 in wide , if so similar width? ... got the end .. thanks !
No. I'd like to call some in. I have a plan to do some 'brand' articles and Hoka would be interesting. I love Jawz and Torrent but have never actually tried SpeedGoat (normal or wide!)
@@peakproofuk ok thanks. Loved the torrent 1 but weirdly the 2 felt too tapered . The jawz are amazing but again, too tight for me...
Is the upper permeable? Will moisture be able to dry off?
It’s not sloshing around in there but I think TNF could have designed the overlays a little smarter to actively encourage the water out faster - especially around the front / rand area. It’s certainly not designed to wet running.
Good review... Can I ask you about sizing?.. In comparison with Hoka one one maybe... Because in Hokas you must go size up... Is there a case 2? Thanks man and keep up the good work 👍
OK, this is tricky. Mainly because I find most recent Hoka ARE true to size. But I know a colleague also testing the Vectiv and he thinks they're large (need sizing down). It's true, they are slightly 'long' - however the slightly point shape would stop me sizing down. So I think true to size is the best advice.
insoles measure 3mm longer than Hoka insole
@@peakproofuk thanks for your answer... I want to order a pair, but I am still sceptical which size should I order... I wear my Hokas and Salomon in size 42... (my foot length is 26.2cm)... And The north face size chart shows for this foot length size 41... Quite a dilemma 🤔🤔
@@MrLupsa123 They're definitely longer than S-Lab sense 7 and Hoka Jawz. Like a good 5mm longer.
Nice review. I am an Altra man normally for trails and road but also love my Nike next % .... interested about the carbon plate in a trail shoe. Have a 50km virtual ultra next week ... hmm.
Have not got the end of the video yet but intrigued re width. Hoping it’s wide...may have to buy and do a review too on my channel.
Just subbed !👍
Thanks man! It's not the widest, but it's flexible and soft. But as an Altra man, you'll think these are not particularly human foot shaped
@@peakproofuk that’s what I am worried about !
I just picked up a new pair for £60.
Iam lucky
What do you recommend for running in peak District?
Bargain
Terraultra g270? Or is it called terrafly now. Zero drop though
Are these waterproof?
No. I don’t normally run in, or test, waterproof shoes.
