And what am I supposed to do, join the Navy? Well, then he'd not only be an Army man, but a Navy one as well.
The Lord indeed does work in mysterious ways Archie.😂
I had someone tell me a while back that the show was horrible, contributes t racism and should never have been made.the genius of the show was that you weren’t supposed to agree with archie. That’s what made it so funny.
I'm dyeing Norman Lear also. Created the Jefferson so relax both we're hysterical swear I think George also put Archie in his place absolutely
Had to be that way. That’s the way all the signals were pointing. Hollywood was at the controls. Look at Sanford. Other black led sit-coms. I’m glad the black American actors got their day in the sun, so to speak. But, God bless us, whitey is not always in the wrong. They’re always ‘D’s”, though. Some things never change.
I laughing until my eyes running water only Archie cause that to me. The best comedy show ever!!!!!
The days of great TV, before the 'woken crowd' woke up and destroyed everything in sight.
omg...please tell me you see the sheer irony of what you said in reference to All in the Family....a progressive show aimed at waking up America to confront our racism through a racist character named Archie Bunker. :D
@@666size666 Your right "racism" is front and center today- right in our faces we're watching taxpayer dollars taken from American taxpayers and given to ONLY Black farmers with zero means test. Archie was simply warning us it can go both ways.
Whenever I see today's woke crowd saying things they don't understand- I simply look back to Rev. Marten Luther King's Christian beliefs and his "I Have a Dream" speech-
"I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
The real problem- 'Woken schools and universities today stopped teaching American History and the blood and death toll we went through to end slavery. And who it actually was that we fought against to end it- (not who you are being told today)
@@666size666 Yet the "woken crowd" would never be able to see that through their fake outrage.
Omg he was one of a kind
Who knew that Rob Reiner would turn into an obese censor later in life?
But ooh la la, young Sally Struthers!
You've got a point.
And it's a shame cuz I enjoy most of his directing
and dumpy trumpy is your idea of the perfect masculine physique, the fat slob
Those were the good old days when free speech was legal in the USA
Haha! Watching this and wishing every liberal could hear it. Meathead is still a meathead!
So...let me get this straight... You agree with Archie's way of thinking?
Archie is and was the obvious racist, Mike was a liberal calling him out. You see that, right?
@@geoycs she gets it, she just agrees with the racist character lol.
Meathead is a judgemental, privelidged and lazy. Archie is the man.
@@chuckchesser8540 OMFG, yes yes... the Racist, Chauvinist Bigot is your guy. makes sense. Archie is funny yes...but please understand the writers designed his character so you would laugh At him, not WITH him.
We all have some Archie in us!😆🇺🇸
I wish they would reboot this show and tell the Liberals “Too fucking bad” every time they cry about it
AMEN!! finally someone who thinks like I do, screw liberals all they do is complain about everything being offensive, well their very existence is offensive
Luv the show, 💝
That was one of the greatest television At its finest
"All in the Family" the second most racist tv show ever. A distant second behind "Blackish"
Why does Meathead look perplexed at Archie's comment about baseball changing in 1947?
Because he might not have been that aware of Jackie Robinson's career at that time.
"Archie meets Mike", not "Archie meet's Mike". It's not a possessive nor a contraction; it's simply a 3rd person singular verb. Elementary school stuff.
That mistake has been pointed out a half dozen times in the last three weeks. Next time take a few minutes to read some other comments before launching into teacher mode, Craig.
I hated English Grammar classes !
I LOVE 1:02...Mike HAS to get the last ding in 🤣. He and Carroll O'Connor were supposedly good friends in real life.
Bring back George Jefferson. He was even more charged than Archie.
Geroge's brother Henry was even better
liberal meathead then, liberal meathead now.
ARCHIE'S SO FUNNY
Damn Sally Struthers was hotter than a firecracker on the 4th of July. Of course that was 40 years and about 150 lbs. ago.
Lewis 970 You mean 250 lbs ago
Lewis 970 Hey y'all-be nice.
Both her and Meathead packed it on
You'd be heavy too if you stole all of that food from the Ethiopian kids..
