Love your this kind of videos. Even thought I don't own any of shown vehicles)
Nice video. You know your stuff 🙌
Well done. Funny ending.
Thank you!
How come you haven't made anything for the KL Cherokee? I have a 22 Trailhawk and would have loved for you guys to make a lift like this for that platform.
What is the big difference in suspensionof say 2007- 2012 to these??? Wasn't the suspension the SAME on all of them?? (with only engine and body changes??)
What were the spring rate on these btw, I purchased them a year ago and at the time there weren't weight options
Could you please let me know what wheels these are on the black RAV4 and tire specs
Nice video. Im only wondering why there wasn't a front or side shot after. Other wise love the vid
This is simply an instructional video of the suspension kit. We have a mountain of videos showing the lifted vehicle in the wild from all angles. Lot's more pics of the lift results on the product page too, link in the video description.
Okay, so would this be same procedure with the rear struts for the RAV4 XLE Hybrid 2020? Only asking because removing the rear struts is difficult and not as easy as in the video. Please reach out
Did you ever get a reply?
@@GalVaran-gl3pt did not but figured it out and everything worked out. ATS has been great
Am curious about axle binding in the rear since most other kits come with subframe spacers
The engineers designed the kit within the limits of a 2" lift. No need for spacers or brake line extensions.
do you sell the shocks only and use my eiback springs I recently bought I am wondering if there is more sag with just the eibachs or with the ironman?
These come as pre-built strut assemblies only for the front.
@@Ironman4x4America Are the pay load more than the eibachs
Где заказать такие пружины? У меня RAV4 XA50. Дайте ссылку или точные название модели детали
great video, any dealers located in Europe or UK?

Would the front install cause vibration between 15 and 28 MPH??
No vibrations should occur after installing this kit.
Are the shocks absorbers any longer than the originals ? Wondering about the ride quality on that
Yes! Our ATS kit provides extended travel improving your ride quality. The extended travel shock allows you to put more power to the ground during the vehicles articulation.
@@Ironman4x4America how do you provide extended travel when nothing in the actual mechanical suspension hasn’t changed? It just looks like the resting height is more extended at the expense of downtravel.
How much will this increase my payload capacity? Looking to put a rooftop tent and front bumper on my RAV4
This will work with 0-110lbs up front and 0-440lbs in the rear of additional weight. So total up what the weight of the front bumper you are going to use plus the weight of your rooftop tent and see if that falls within this spec.
I was trying to buy ATS for my 2019 Rav4 xle. . It asks for comfort load 0-110 or 0-440 lbs. . I drive alot on highways sometimes dirt road but not hardcore offroad . Which one woulb be best for
The differences are entirely up to weight. The heavier springs are better suited for heavily loaded vehicles with a constant added weight from accessories like rooftop tents, bumpers, etc... The comfort load coils are great if you don't have a lot of constant weight from accessories.
The options for the Rav4 are actually both comfort load (no option essentially, one size fits all). It just more weight range added in the rear.
@@chadterpstra Heavy spring options are due in October, stay tuned!
Oh cool! I just ordered the comfort ride, but that's my preference anyway since I'm not planning to be terribly loaded up. Thanks for the tip though!
im wondering if this ats kit could fit suzuki ertiga ...
Not made to fit Suzuki Ertiga.
I installed another kit 2.5” and now at 19-28 mph I am getting vibrating when at mid throttle, but if I smooth into it it does not vibrate, can anyone help me?
Who's lift kit did you install?
@@Ironman4x4America well, I went with rough country 2.5” lift, I was looking at it it had all the spacers for the rest subframe drop and all, and thought it was okay, I did get new springs and new shocks I know it’s not require but I did, and now it does look great, but now I’m getting a slight vibration at that MPH, I did have it installed at a Toyota dealership and alignment was done, but now I’m getting that shimmy, I am running AT tires but all is well balance and all. If you could talk to your engineers? I don’t know anything helps. Thank you.!
@@tripplepproductions5771 I can not speak on behalf of Rough Country. I'd suggest reaching out to their Customer Service team to share your experiences. Otherwise, take it back to the Toyota dealership and see what they can do.
When on dead stop and accelerate 18mph to 28mph i experience shimmy or vibration any one knows or suggestions what was the problem??
could be cv axles or drive shaft / carrier
can jack it up and check them for excessive play in components or bring it to a shop for a quick inspection.
What size tires are everybody running with this lift? And Wheel offset.
Check out our recommended wheel and tire sizing on the product page. ironman4x4america.com/2-ats-suspension-lift-kit-suited-for-2019-toyota-rav4/
Im running 245 65 17 with a +38 offset. Fifteen52 Traverse MX Asphalt Black and Falken Wildpeak AT Trail. They're a slightly larger diameter then stock. I probably could of gone larger but wanted to be safe. Might go larger next time.
We need a 3rd gen lift 😢
Does this kit work with the RAV4 Prime too?
The lift kit will work but you may want to consider the heavier load spring option, Spec C as the Prime models may weight more.
Thanks. Is there anyway to adjust this kit down to only be 1.5” of lift? It seems from my research that 2” of lift puts the CVs of the RAV4 to the edge of their operating limits and causes issues in some. I’m hearing folks are having less issues with the Eibach springs that only “lift” the vehicle about 1.5”. However, I’d prefer to also get new shock and dampener components and not just springs.
The front suspension is sold as an assemblies and they are not adjustable. Give our Customer Service team a call if you have any other questions regarding fitment.

does this work for LE hybrid?
Yes it will
@@Ironman4x4America thanks, just ordered from a local dealer, anything need to watch for compare to a normal rav4? hybrid cable management etc?
@@alexxu3004 No issues, straight forward install across all trim levels
@@Ironman4x4America thanks
@@Ironman4x4America Just got it installed today!
Why is it that mechanics never use copper paste these days, so you dont have to pay 200$ to replace one single bolt???
That's why I work on my own cars/trucks. I own all the good paste/oils/solvents.
No comparison???
Show the ride brother
Didnt show the results😂😂😂. And i bet its like 4k$.😂😂. Why would i dump my oem shocks for those? My spine was hurting just looking at those springs.😂😂
Safety glasses? Nah.
Torque anything down? Nah.
To be fair, that’s how most driveway heros are gonna do it.
Torque specs be damned I guess.
Torque specs are same as your factory specs. Quick Google search got me this link for you, hope this helps. www.trav4.net/front_suspension_lower_no_1_arm-721.html
