- While we started out #OSH19 with some big challenges, those helping the event really banded together to make 2019 the biggest year ever. Thank you to all and we already can't wait for #OSH20!

My brother and I flew in Thursday aboard "Hairless Joe", a C-47 Dakota owned by The Yankee Air Force based at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, Michigan. My sixth time, his first. All aboard were so impressed with the comradery exhibited by EAA volunteers and showgoers. You are all invited to our annual "Thunder Over Michigan" show August 3rd and 4th. It will be a gathering of Corsairs.
Loved the ✈planes, the 🥁stories, the beauty👍. Super job bringing the history🌍and 🎉hero commemoration to life❇!
I would add the return of the vets from DC . Add Thank you for the live stream.
Hopefully the Snowbirds make a return next year! Wonder what type of anniversaries we can expect to celebrate

Its hard not to be sad.. But looking forward to next year..
when interviewing old men that are hard of hearing after decades in aircraft. the moderator needs to speak LOUD.. not into the microphone but directly to the important figures being interviewed... the Michael Collins interview and the 3 3/4 hours with Burt and Dick Rutan behind the 747 video could have gone so much better if they could have heard the question. what answers they could have given that might be lost forever if its not done right next year.. or in person over the next 11 months..
First year I went to Oshkosh and it was great. But one thing I thought about, that show is making millions, I bet the board of directors are making bank. Yet they have to have volunteers. Pretty sad when the key to Oshkosh are there to support those that make so much... But hey I’ll be back next year.
Can we get a camera crew that actually follows the planes while in the air for the shows next year? There were almost more shots of a tent roof or a porta-crapper than the airplanes. Quite amusing to have the announcer telling us to watch this amazing loop and roll by a plane ... but not see it at all.
Yes, this, also fix connection issues on the grounds, half of the livestreams were either interrupted every 20seconds, without sound or both :(
over all, the video streaming was awesome compared to trying to experience the event on EAA radio (in the past)

44 aircraft with the same fuel onboard as last year.
82 lost aircraft assisted by ATC.
82 compasses out of tolerance.
16 engine failures.
36 oil dipstcks lost.
21 oil caps lost. (Lost and Found tent)
311 hard landings.
51 aircraft with control problems. (RVs, mostly)
82 aircraft out of annual.
17 aircraft running on one magneto.
7 c/s prop failures.
14 retract gear problems.
10 gear extension problems.
432 near collisions over FISK.
17 Bonanza pilots who tried to unlock someone else's plane.
192 pilots doing run-ups in the parking area.
34 coolers blown away during run-ups.
1.3 miles of tiedown ropes left behind.
1344 wives, children, and pilots who puked on final approach.
147 brake failures.
4,377 pilots who did not read OSH notams for arrival.
59 intoxicated pilots leaving OSH.
