- Various aircraft arrive to Fond Du Lac County Airport (Fond Du Lac Skyport) on Saturday, July 20th. Several intense rain storms left the grass parking in Oshkosh unusable, so the vast majority of aircraft flying in for EAA AirVenture 2019 were forced to divert elsewhere. Fond Du Lac is the primary overflow airfield during AirVenture.
We hope that the weather cooperates for actual Oshkosh arrivals on Sunday!

Welcome to Sloshkosh, eh? Weather was bad up in the Fox Valley, tornado warnings,hard rain, high winds, some big trees down, tons of people without power still today.
I'm from the UK , about half a mile from Heathrow airport and I watch your videos all the time . Great stuff .
Tomorrow is going to be a crazy arrival day in KOSH if the ground parking opens back up. Stay safe everyone!
I volunteered at one of the parking areas that year. We coned off the south 40 lake and several smaller ponds.

This was at the alternate airport, not Oshkosh itself. They were going to camp for the night and try to make it to Oshkosh in the morning.
