That's a really sweet case, I love the ITX type ones for front room gaming.
I recently did a build myself with an older NODE 202 case for the bedroom. I used the same Noctua CPU cooler but I had some issues. I did some bench running for 30 mins or so under load and seemed fine. I had an older XEON CPU in there, but after "real life" use it fried after a week. Seems the case itself would thermal and heat adding another 10 degrees which tipped it over the edge and it died.
I replaced the CPU with an i7 3770 (old I know, its bedroom gaming) I had laying around. Found that although my Mobo was stating 100% on the fan curve it was actually running short. That cooler runs at 2500rpm max but my Mobo was running 2000rpm max at stock with no options to go over this. I had to manually change my curve with SpeedFan Software to push it to the 2500rpm max when under serious load. Since then, max temps have gone from 83 degrees to 67 degrees.
Not saying it will be the same for everyone, some Mobos, especially more modern my see this and push to 2500rpm. But I wouldnt want someone to fry a more expensive modern CPU the same dufus way I did. Lucky the XEON was only 50 bucks!
    Great vid mate :D

This is refreshing - you don't see many cases like this. I feel it's a bit taller than it needs to be (they could definitely save some space between the mobo and GPU) but the designers of this really seemed to think of any potential flaws and how to fix them.

By slightly altering that ssd mounting bracket you could use 90 degree plugs on the right sided with modification underneath the bracket. It would give a cleaner look as well as give an opportunity to rotate drives to correct orientation if labeling is upside down as well. And since you raised the glass away from the original height it also allows this mod for the drive bays to be done.

for all of you absolutely bitching about the price, you have to remember
    1. this case is not mass-produced and so the cost of production is going to be higher for smaller quantities.
    2. this case comes with a PCIe riser cable, these normally cost $40 to $60 for an actually good one
    3. this also comes with a 600w PLATINUM rated PSU, normally these are about $100 to $150
so in total, after they buy them and probably get a better deal on these components all of it basically adds up to $200 so in reality, this is not a bad price at all for this

for that usb 3.0 vs 2 ssd's you could get the skinny cables from silverstone and plug those in, if PSU cables are non detachable you'd just need an adapter to use other hdd power cable

  • @LookattheBiggerPic

Certainly does look very nice though I would be concerned about the CPU & GPU coolers being too close to glass, limiting airflow - with the glass farther out, I imagine see it runs cooler ... thanks so much for showing this off!

  • @unclegamer6705

Looking at the layout I would think the back side panel would need some slits in it where the PSU backside is to allow it to get some air flow.

  • @yourpcmd

Almost $300 as seen in your setup is quite a bit. But 2 things. 1. You should get a bottom plate to match the top if you remove the "feet" and 2. Replace the glass with a perforated plate to allow for greater air flow. I am sure the plate would be much much cheaper than tempered glass. As far as price, $100 would be more reasonable for the bare-bones case and perhaps $200ish with a PSU provided it's a quality brand. Finally, this is sure to be a dust magnet.

vid recap: Verry nice case might have some cooling problems if you run extreme games, this could be fixed by putting some spacers in.nIn terms of acoustics it does pretty well. When it cmes to storage if you get extra ssds you should get extra 6in data cables so the cables are not all over the place. Overall pretty good case it has some problems with temps and cable management.

What I would have done instead of the thumb screws on the front panel is have it be magnetized so you can quickly take it off. Either that or rubber tension tabs or something. Some needs to improve on the glass panel technology. Thumb screws are outdated. Even small latches on the corners would be better.
