Anyone interested in seeing how this small form factor PC handles Linux? If so what distribution would you like installed?
Ubuntu 22.04
Roughly what did you spend ?
How much is the cost for this build?
i'd like to see how it handles vr games. or even if its just the steam vr/index compatibility benchmark.

Cant believe im commenting to thank you for a sponsor, but you brought the site to my attention and got my 2 new PC builds up and running with Windows 10 Pro for $30 for 2 copies. The timing was perfect.
I've been looking for something exactly like this. Thank you!
Really like this build. Glad to see AM5 mini-itx boards coming down in price.
At this point, I'm going to the built-up mini PC like Beelink or MinisForum,
Much more efficient.
Only need 35Watt TDP and run much faster than 3 years old generation normal PC
@@dhanarputra555 - If you want to save on your electric bill, that seems like a smart choice. This build here is much faster than those mini-PCs, though.
I need this in my life. Having a full tower pc is a big no even a medium one will still get you in a major trouble, but this. this is perfect and pairing it with a pair of ar glasses like xreal air is just chef's kiss.
Such a nice mini PC! I used to build a typical middle tower for myself, but will definitely consider mini ITX for the next one
I have wanted to build this exact system for so long, can't believe you did it first. ITS PERFECT. Now its more tempting than ever.
we learned how not to unbox anything for any reason
Do it Nokin! You deserve this mini beast :)
Very nice. That was the system I wanted to build 5 years ago, but it's finally here. I might feel inspired and give this another shot.
Thanks a bunch will try to build this been looking for a nice small factor gaming pc was going to settle for a pre-built mid tower but this guide saves me the time and I can build it myself with my kid
What was the total price on everything?
Since there are holes on the bottom of the case, I would try to put some feet on it. That would allow the GPU to draw in more fresh air.
ETA bruhda, your works are inspiring man! I love these builds here! Keep it up!
You haven't mentioned noise levels for this build. Most ITX builds at this size use Flex PSUs and they can get pretty loud.
Flex atx fan swaps aren't that hard, that's what i did for mine
yea everybody just fan swap the flex psu with noctua if noise is an issue and its super easy
Messing with power supplies is pretty dangerous for the average Joe, you know.
@@clorophilla I totally agree, some flex PSUs are really noisy. The Enhance Electronics ENP-7660B 600W is a good flex PSU that works low noise out of the box. There is a also modular version of this power supply available too. It's not cheap, but it works and it is quiet. You could buy a cheaper one and swap out fans, but for anyone who doesn't want to do that the EE one I mentioned is a good option.
this guy isnt a reviewer , he just sings praises for his sponsors.
lovely little PC - not usually a fan of these smaller builds but this just really appeals to me. Very nice!
The camera makes everything look so small! Nice build.
Very clean good work brother! I might have to put one together for myself
very nice! I was checking out this board as well. crazy to see it "irl" lol it's so much smaller than i thought it was.
really liking it. can't wait to build something this small some day.
Great assembly!!!! thank you !
Super impressive mini build there dude !!
Best form factor. Love this !!!
I think this case being vertical is blocking the airflow of the GPU. U should test it with the case being horizontal
I was about to say the same thing. Maybe some feet could be added to raise it up
Super clean build.
This case is something special. It's the perfect ITX + LP card set up.
I suspect, as you mentioned, you could use a pico or a little GaN PSU in here, but a 400-600w Flex is nice.
I can see several nice Intel and AMD builds, I can see a nice budget rig with a super low power/efficiency CPU and maybe an A2000 to REALLY get a good performance per watt.
What's the make and model of the case?
you can do 7800x3d if you want to game at 13900ks fps for that power consumption,7700x is good if you not gaming much
Awesome content as always.
The way it holds the PSU with tall standoffs is interesting and haven't seen that in ITX cases before. I hope it's stable in a vertical position.
Would love to see a cheap version of this mini pc like you did with your previous 5 liter pc.
simple, am4 + rtx a2000 on the same case, a 5600 and a 2060super-tier gpu is still very respectable
@@atoo7yt490 dont know if i would cheap out on the gpu here. maybe a 5600x or 5800x cpu, cheaper am4 itx mobo + ddr4 ram and you could save 2-300 bucks
Am4 but with a 4060 is probably a good middle ground too
That's a very cool build.
Hey! I used that mother board for my build. It’s amazing! So many io ports and 3 m.2 ssd drive.
love the build, easy to assemble part
This is my favorite PC you've built on this channel
That's the cutest graphics card I’ve ever seen! :-) That tiny case is bloody expensive.
Very nice ETA!
I been traveling a lot between countries a lot.
I thought i would have to settle for a laptop but now i can have a bomb ass tiny computer to come with me 😊
Thanks for the video
I love these mini pc builds u do makes me wanna build some even tho i dont need them lol
i wish i could a new pc every week but yea no need lmao
Great build
I would like to see you do a build with the velka v3 case and the minisform BD770i, great build BTW!
I've build a SFF pc too with an 13400F+32GB DDR4+RTX4070 in a Dan A4 SFX Case. It can get a lil bit louder but the performance is crazy with this size.
man.. I love your vids
This case is what I'm waiting for week with lot's of questions 😅
Very nice temps! My 5950X goes up yto 90C and my 3090 up to 78C (92C junction point) while pulling 420W+ when gaming. Overall 600-700W+ with CPU included off the wall.
For my next build, ill focus more on power efficiency with a smaller PC case. 😔
That's pretty dang cool
This is my new dream pc and I'm planning on saving money to buy it!
Hey ETA, did you see that minusforum is releasing a motherboard and cpu combo the bd770i, i think it would be dope to see you put a build together with that combo
This is a eye opening build for me, this is off in the territory I've been designing in my head. I want a taller case like this, I want a Full or Mid size motherboard. Extra tall and slim just not deep (OG PS3 was a good size if that was squared off), like 80% mid tower height like that one Falcon Northwestern case with the granite base. I wish I could find one like that, that intrigues me as much as the Falcon Northwestern case does so I can do my own custom build it's way to much to buy a custom even though they are cramming the best of the best in them.
the fact this smaller than the xbox s is wild
since you did a video with a vr headset i thought you might start doing at least one vr game benchmark with systems like this... would be interesting to see how these systems do with vr.
I would LOOOVE to build this for my xmas gift to myself. that 4060 LP does look expensive at the moment tho
I bought this case, but silver version weeks ago, I've just put together a Ryzen 3700x 65w TDP and a GT610 that I had laying around, I will get the 4060 LP when it becomes available in my location. The flex atx psu is a bit noisy, so I think I will replace it's fan for a Noctua one. The case is rock solid, literally, machined Aluminum. I never had such solid case.
fire video bro
I just finished an SFF build like this, except I’m using the A520I board with a Ryzen 9 3950x I had lying around. The performance has been fantastic, although that Ryzen 9 runs a little too hot. I have a 5800x3D on the way to replace it, which should increase my performance and decrease my thermals. Overall I’m very pleased with the build; makes for a great living room Steam “console”.
But what about noise levels?
@@baka_ja_nai UPDATE (original reply below): Okay, so I switched out the Ryzen 9 3950X with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and I replaced the ID-55 cooler with a Scythe Big Shuriken 3 rev.2 (which baaaaarely fits in this case), and I dropped my temps by almost 20C. The setup now runs Cyberpunk 2077 at 100fps with raytracing on, and averages around 76C. It's a bit quieter, too. Very satisfied.
ORIGINAL REPLY: Honestly it leans a little on the loud side. I used an ID Cooling low-profile CPU cooler, and it's pretty good at its job, but at higher RPMs it becomes noticeable from 10 feet away when there are lulls in the game audio, like loading screens and whatnot. I also added an Arctic 80mm intake fan on the front of my case to augment the airflow; it's very quiet, but not silent. I personally don't mind the fan noise at all, but if that's a concern for you, you're better off going for a slightly larger case that you can fit an AIO into for a build like this.
Hey, an even better case then this one would be the SGPC K39v2. It only has 3.9Liters and fits a standard 2 Slot GPU with up to 180mm of length so you could fit a 4060ti in it. Would love to see if it could also handle a 5800x3d or 7800x3d.
It should absolutely handle either of the x3d chips, they might boost a little lower but they're less sensitive to frequency because of their massive cache.
Thanks for the video ;)
Can you test some WII and Switch emulation on this build, please? 🙏
impressive how all those components fit in that case. Looks like harware is about $1,215 from current listings. Its unfortunate that case isn't on amazon
Do you think you could make a video on some of the best cases for the 4060 LP card? The LP 4060 is a real game changer!
console killer 😮 smaller and powerful,,, I just wish the rtx 4060 had 16gb vram for this small profile card
Should be nearly costs 3x a PS5. This build is about 1300-1400 before tax
@@Jimmys_TheBestCop not only the ps5 but also the Xbox series X
@@Mobiletechvr it's not outrageous small ITX builds have gotten more expensive over the last 3 generation of GPUs because they were fat beasts. The last ITX friendly GPUs were the GTX 10xx series. If I remember they even had 1080 and 1070ti mini cards
@@Jimmys_TheBestCop yeah i thought of doing this build until, I glanced over and looked at my trinity 4080, 360 mm length 3.5-4 slot width. shitty that it so dam big. I wanted to upgrade from my 5900x and do a small mini build, but unless im gonna run a separate Gpu enclosure, im gonna be stuck with full size tower case..
Love it ❤
Damn nice walpaper man ❤
As a CPU cooler I recommend the Alpenfön Black Ridge + a Noctua NF A9x14 PWM.
Amazing!
I recently modified my Lenovo M720s, equipped with an I7 8700, to accept a 500w tfx power supply and a Gigagyte RTX 4060oc lp. It works wonderfully. Since the 24pin to 10pin adapter makes my fan run non-stop. I plan to replace the power supply fan with a quieter 80mm Noctua.
Great build! Btw, where can I get that cool wallpaper?
Very nice, must have that PSU
Where did you obtain the bracket to secure the power supply? At the 5:00 mark, the video shows a bracket that covers the power supply from left to right with 2 screws for the top and bottom. The aliexpress link you provided shows a different bracket which only secures the edge of the power supply which has been a concern with a few reviews where a power supply of 81.5mm would not fit with the included bracket . The included bracket on aliexpress fits 80mm power supply
Hey did you find out what bracket he is using?
I'd be tempted to throw some feet on the case, just to give the gpu a little more air. Lovely little system
Or just lay it flat so that the CPU also gets fresh air from the top. Tho if you have access to those little rubber feet that fits the case aesthetics that would be great as well
nice work. next challenge: maximum performance without a fan
Good video, but can you suggest another case in place of this one? I don't want to purchase from AliExpress, primarily.
Thats exactly the type of machine i would like to build, i wish low factor components weren't so expensive
Wasnt always the case but after the GTX 10xx generation gpus they stopped doing low profile and mini cards. Which raised prices on all other itx components because it became less and less common.
the first seconds of the video broke me😂
I’m doing the same build debating on changing the mono cpu combo for. A media server/gaming rig
This would be a perfect LAN party PC.
What ended up being the total cost for all the parts included in this build?
Added everything besides case to amazon cart was 1k
i just got this case. the flex 1u PSU mounts are super delicate. 2 of mine have broke just installing then. you HAVE to make sure not to twist them too tight or the tiny endless screws that go into the bottom snap. i drilled out a hole in the back of the case bigger and ordered a pico power supply 12v 240w that should run my 12400T (35w) and Intel a380 low profile(70w). My 120w adapter can't handle the load when i fortnite. I've installed 2 80mm low profile fans in the top of the case to kick out heat. it's a nifty case.
Nice video,I have a Rtx a2000 should I get a Intel arc 750 to replace it
Can we see emulation with this build? Nice ITX Pc though 😎
Wish you would do a small form factor 4k PC been waiting forever to see what you could brew up.
SIIIIICK!
I'm Looking at MicroCenter AMD Bundles right now lol
we need an 7600 LP considering they added AFMF on a driver level that would be great on a small build. looking to switch out the 1650 Super i got in my secondary build i cannot deal with nvidias software.
Would be nice to see this with a 7800X3D, undervolt Ed and underclocked to 50watts, and the same with the 4060 (to 100 watts)
Isn't the 4060 already basically 100 watts?. I bet it could be pushed down to 85w without any performance loss.
4060 won't going to fully utilized the 7800X3D I'm afraid
i like your channel, very very much
Hey @ETAPRIME, great content, as always. Big fan.
I know that the 4060 LP can give a good gamming and 4K video editing performance, but I was wondering if it can give same 3D scanning/rendering (is what I do for a living) as a 3070 laptop which is what I'm currently using; perhaps in a mini PC like yours or an SFF PC as -DawidDoesTechStuff- did or a home server.
In your "Top mini PCs in 2022" video you said that the MINISFORUM NUCX i7 is your daily driver despite having access to more powerful machines, emphasizing how "whisper quiet" is, but Should I choose the NUCX i7 over this 5L mini PC for both gamming and work?
Also, Will you try same 5L mini PC with the MINISFORUM BD770/790i ITX + RTX 4060 LP? or a SFF PC + RTX 4060 LP?
HOW CUTE THAT 4060
Im sure this would be great for business use as well
0:22 I bought my b650e itx board for an eye watering $289. These prices really are egregious.
Fucking hell, I was searching for case exactly like this, for build exactly centred around that videocard
Really like your ITX builds. Can we get a mini PC build but with normal size GPU?
That can be challenging depending on the case.
sweet i just found the psu i want, im building a mini itx in the k39 case, and was worried about a psu for it, now that i have found one will be looking for a little more affordable gpu
The fact of a xx60 class low-profile card has come into existence is THE DREAM for SFF enthusiasts.... some, I suppose. :P I think there's a layout which might take advantage of the slender parts, a "sandwich" style case, where the GPU and flex PSU are on one side next to each other, and the ITX board is on the other, should come in around 3.5L, maybe less.
The A24-V5, seems to suffer the same problem that other cases with this style suffer from, EG the HT5 from Lazer3D. That even though you have a beefy cooler with a 120mm fan on it, it still doesn't seem to breathe very well. But I like this case because it comes with a carrying handle, and you have 2 spots in the top for slim 80mm fans. Strongly recommend putting at least one in (exhaust config) and benchmarking again, I bet you shave off 7 or 8 degrees. And your GPU will be happier too.
Those temps were okay, im wondering if it would make any difference in orientation? The video showed the pc standing up vertically.
With a slight undervolt in the processor and correctly adjusting some parameters in MSI afterburner you can surely reduce the temperatures a little.
Is it possible with this chipset?
@@laszlokocsis5862 Most likely, yes.
If that case was placed horizontally it might even have more cooling to the GPU, which is quite good already
make part 2 benchmark some games with/without undervolt the CPU&GPU for the best result on temperature... thanks
Nice fo packing into a suitcase and travel with a portable display.
Pulls equal watt to laptop puts more performance portable as laptop.damn
Hey! What is that custom power extension cable used in this build to connect the power supply to the power port?
In the description...aaaand now it's in my cart.
That 4060 LP makes this build worth while.
Excellent also It seems like amd finally is preparing to release am5 apu's for desktop.
I love this build of yours! It's perfect for me. Wish I can build the very same PC here in the Philippines without selling my kidneys ^_^ Coming from a Ryzen 2400G on an Asrock A300 this is worlds more powerful. This is the best PC for my use case where I bring my PC to places, home work and even to visiting relatives. I have a good Acer Predator gaming laptop but I like SFF Gaming PC's more...
