See, the thing is, I don't need this compact of a PC. But I want it.
I think most folks don’t need such a small pc, but we’d like it to not take up so much space or make such a statement when you walk in the room like “I AM A PC GAMER”
@@DengueBurger True, that's why I went with a 27 liter case but it's still pretty big so I'm actually seriously considering this option
Same
I went from a mid tower to a compact matx tower which is half the size and it's the most satisfying pc I've built in my life
speaking as someone who owns a 4.7 liter pc although with ryzen 5 5600x and rtx3060. please consider the temps and the hard labor of changing parts in it. I recently upgraded from a gtx 1070 to rtx 3060, i had to disassemble 60% of the pc just to reach the riser cabe in order to chance it out for a pcie 4.0 and then disassemble some more just to fit the graphics card.
I like how mid-range GPUs are getting more mini size options. Make GPUs smol again!
more powerful gpus runs alot hotter so I highly doubt that gpus will be come smol again
@@anso3886 to be fair the tdp of the 40 series GPUs is lower for most skews as compared to the 30 series. The rtx 4070 has the same tdp as the rtx 3060ti. And there was a single fan version of the 3060ti, so actually, no, not all new GPUs are running hotter.
@@mateuszkask6286Yep, the newer generation is actually more efficient. It just so happens that NVIDIA and even AMD just push the hardware further to gain more performance that it runs hotter.
My RTX 4070 Ti is already way better than 3080 Ti while consuming less power. The main issue really is the bad cost. Just overpriced for more than its worth.
It’s cause the 4060 has the specs of a 50 class gpu. This isn’t a good thing.
@@anso3886 We're actually approaching the point where the "more powerful" GPU's are only liek 10% faster than the mide-range GPU's, so... The only way to go from here, is to shrink the tech, make it smaller...
Who knows, maybe shrinking the tech will allow manufacturers to fuse graphics cards together like a sandwich so they can sell them as native-SLI single-unit cards, effectively doubling graphical performance.
Basically, the only way to improve computer hardware from here, is to upgrade from 2 dimensional design, to 3-dimensional design... No more graphics cards, how about graphics cubes? xD
Just in case anyone gets mixed up at 3:04 , L9i is the one you use if you want to go Intel, and L9a is the one you use for AMD :)
L9a is a little bit heavier so I'd get that and then order socket 1700 mounts
@@Capital_KP heavier means better cooling?
@@Gabriellho a little yes, others here on YT have tested. Not much but in these builds everything counts
Tbh good luck with cooling Intel's 13th or 14th gen chips in a case this small lol.
@@PorterBsure you can, just need the right expectations and maybe som undervolting.
This seems like the perfect travel buddy PC.
Now slap a monitor the size of the case panel on it
@@lemon9.9 let me get the super glue
Travel buddy? I would run it every day😂
@@lemon9.922" 100hz aplenty for $50 these days
@@lemon9.9 Arzopa for the win
I always wanted to do a build in a Velka 3 and yours looks great. I think you made some good choices on components and temps look extremely good.
wow, what a fit!! Superb work as usual!
I use the same strix motherboard and really like how this has both lga 1200 and 1700 mounting holes allowing you to install older coolers
Those small builds are super cool and would make for a great clean minimal look on a gaming setup.
the size and the power it can deliver in that package is crazy 🤯 what a great build
It's really amazing how miniaturization of pretty powerful desktop PC's has developed over the past few years. This build is a serious competitor to mini pc's like the Beelink GTR7 and SER7; only slightly bigger, but significantly more powerful.
Great job on a very well-made video!
We really are collopsing into all PC's into some kind of middleground. The footprint of this PC might even be SMALLER than a beelink
Unfortunately this is weaker than the same thing with a 3060Ti from 2 years ago and not that much faster than the same thing with a 2070 from 4 years ago. Maybe even slower than a 12GB 3060.
And even with a 4060Ti, it would be almost the same as the 3060Ti
Single fan 4070 where? (It's ~200W just like the 3060Ti/2070/1080 single fan GPUs)
@@yeshwantkethineni3694 The one thing you're overlooking is the efficiency of the 4060. I built this same pc with a 12600KF (undervolted and power limited) and the GPU is powerful enough without having overly obnoxious fan noise. Of course you could go with a 3060ti, but the difference is relatively small and the cost of the 4060 is roughly $100 cheaper than the 3060ti. If you're looking to drive a 1080p or even a 1440p monitor, this will be able to handle it without a sweat. Looking for high-refresh 4K gaming? You should probably be looking at something bigger with more thermal headroom.
absolutely stunning. I think many people including myself are intimidated by building our own pc, but this video breaks things down into such simple and digestible chunks that it seems pretty straightforward!
just build it bro, it's not hard, there are very good resources out there compared to when i started.
Absolutely impressive as usual, I think you just answered your previous video title's question! keep bringing these very cool and unique ideas for builds.
This is so beautiful. I just did a new build last week, But very tempted to build this if I get a Black Friday deal. I have a portable 1080p monitor I can definitely hook this up with.
As I finished watching the "Smallest 4060 LP build yet?" vid, this pops up. It only took 11 days for it to get even smaller.
Nah, this is the most beautiful build I've seen in a while.
Been looking to build a mini mini pc like this but never really know where to get the case from.
This video helps a lot.
I built a 4090 pc and I love it. Seeing this build makes me want it too 😭 your build was incredible and great video as well!
Excellent video. Love how you explain each component and provide tips throughout.
great video, awesome editing...I've been subbed to you for a while and just remembered how nice your builds are. Love it!
I have the velka 3. I have never hated doing repairs on any case more than this one. The engineering that went into it to make it small is indeed impressive, but you have to undo all of that to take it apart. To access any of the internals you have to completely disassemble the entire case...
Other than that, it's fantastic. Super small and temps are great!
I see it as a replacement for a laptop, which most times is a nightmare to service. This one is still better for maintenance, no plastic clips and stuff.
You can't have it all... being compact and easy to work on... Like the user abov
e said. Comparing it with some laptops that you need to snap plastic clips.... its heaven.
That same mentality, take that and apply it to a 2.9L Audi twin-turbo V8. It's insanely small and insanely intricate.
@@jaywhite15_ALyup. Same here with my penis. It’s insanely small but also pretty intricate and powerful for what it is.
i watched this video over and over again, even though i just purchased a HZXT v2 i have ordered the velka 3. im so impressed by this build, thank you! greetings from switzerland
Hey, when did you order it and how long did it take until you got it delivered?
holy crap i literally just bought this same cpu case and gpu, except i have the z790 and have 32 g rip jaw, along with a 520 firecuda, i got all of that including the noctua NH all on sale for half off, im so excited my velkase 3 comes tuesday, this video couldnt have came at the most perfect time!
A class build bud well done.
I am so happy I supported this company back in 2019 when I got the 1st gen Velka 3 case. I still love the case, and seeing how more refined the current product is makes me supper happy.
I completely fell in love with the case, and I never regreted switching from a big tower case to ITX !!
Oh and that 600W PSU is also great, dead silent no matter what you do.
this is just WOW size... so much power in so compact form factor.. even those mini pc boxes will shy away from this pc built
The Zotac 4060 Solo runs an aggressive stock fan profile. However, you can use MSI Afterburner to create a custom fan curve. I set mine to 30% up to 60C and at 50% to 80C. I overclocked the card by +150 core and +200 memory, and the card sits around 75C while in a Densium 4 case which is similar to the Velka 3.
Я майнил много лет эти карты способны беспрерывно в течении годов работать. Лучьше всего Асус и Сапфир.
Version 3 looks great! I bought version 2 but I had many personal problems with the build quality of the case. It gets scratched too easy and it's impossible to do proper maintainence on the case/components due to it's extremely poor assembly... I although it was a great introduction to the SFF-community, I feel like Velka 3 misses a lot of the user-friendly marks as I think cases should much prioritize when they're this small ❤
This guy is so underrated! Amazing build! (Subscribed) 👍
Thank you. I wanted too build a new compact gaming computer, I saw this and built one. Like this . Works great. Many thanks.
That cable management is more organized than my future...
Wow! I was wondering if you could add in how much each build costs at the end of each video. That way, at least we'll have a rough estimate. I really enjoy these tiny build videos. Please do more!
around 1400 total not including shipping and taxes
bruh your lighting is so prime. bravo. I'm sure a ton of work goes into making your shots look as good as they do. I hope a lot of people notice!! great vid as well :)
Very cool build. It’s nice that it fits a dual slot GPU. I’ve done a 3.8 Liter Build with the „old“ case from Goodysory. But there’s only a OneSlot GPU (6400) possible to fit in - above the CPU…
Also the Fan was too noisy, so I mounted a 80mm BeQuiet on a sidepanel , removed the stock GPU fan and connected the 80mm fan directly to the GPU motherboard.
But you build it’s just cleaner and the smallest ever! 🎉
Love the content! Just wanted to say that Jaquiain A07 Mini ITX Computer Case Chassis HTPC Case is very similar to this and it’s half the cost !
Good to know!😊
Thats why I pay for internet. Thkyou my brother 😁
What a monster.
I am building sth similar in a S300 now. But I am starting to question my choice of case. It does however have the benefit of allowing me to stick in a much larger GPU later (got the tiny Gigabyte 3-fan one for now).
It does feel plenty small, and I've got a 750 watt SFX (way overkill but oh well).
What about the temps in s300 is it good or what?
@@yousefmahafzah9741 The temps are fine, but the case gets really hot without case fans, so I'd recommend the S400 instead, since you have more options.
Thank for the Videos, I just orderd from 2 separate videos of yours for my first build mainly because VELKA cases or parts wont ship to the US until January .
Love this channel. Quality build!
NO NO NO, 163mm is not pretty short. It's way above average.
Jokes aside, what a fantastic build! I would love to have something this small!
Thanks for sharing.
BTW, suggestion to anyone carrying this with them in a carrying bag, please make sure to cover the case with something, as to not have anything fall into the system while it's in your bag and have issues.
so is no one going to mention the price
Love this so much. Need something small to wall mount this looks perfect and looks fun to build
Impressionnant .... au fur et à mesure, je pense justement revenir au 1080p , oublier les définitions au dessus et retourner à un milieu moins tourmenté .
Merci pour cette vidéo, elle pousse définitivement à la réflexion
🙂
Oh, boy. 200 Euros+ for the case… I got a similarly sized case from Aliexpress for 31 USD… Paying over 200 Euros for a few pieces of aluminum is absolutely insane
Which case from Aliex?
Yeah which case
SFF for the win
I have a 3060 + 5600 build in the Velka 3 v2 and I love it. I tuned the fans to run silent at idle and although it's pretty loud while gaming, wearing headphones solves that problem. I'm not sure why but I love these little cases.
Yeah I like bigger cases just so they aren't so loud, as an open-headphones user
You have earned a new subscriber!! Kudos!
Why did Ali change his accent and color grading?
Love the design of Velkase! Perfect case to build a nice PC for the living room.
This is an awesome build man, I was looking for something like this for a while.
Just one tip if I may (maybe because of the editing it looks like you didn't, but you prob did) -
4:11 - "4 provided screws..." you always want to adjust each screw in a cross like fashion. You screw one corner and go to the adjacent corner, never screw the ones that are right next to the screw you just adjusted. This helps the cooling plate of the fan sit evenly with your CPU.
That is just simply amazing, great gob thanks for sharing.
Dude i been trying to find youtuber that does mini builds forever finally found a guy love your worj
Very nice build! thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful and elegant, this assembly is perfect and very energy saving friendly. To save money, it would be to use 12400 and ddr4, but as you say, it makes it a very powerful and smoollll. love it
Imagine bringing this along to a Lan party for some CS back in the day. Love it.
Just completed almost the same build in it - surprised from the quality, that's a very good ITX case I would grade higher than a Ghost 1
I want to express a sincere “thank you” for this video, giving me the confidence to build my first pc
Wonderful. PLEASE make more videos like this
Great work making the l9i fins vertical.
You can remove the heatsink from the m.2 for better airflow. The SSD doesn't need it
Out of the park..Great itx build. Well lets see your skills in the coming months :)
Sweet build man !!
Great quality video as always devyn but it felt a bit fast than your previous videos, im more used to you slow paced videos for better understanding !
That is a perfect solution. I greatly appreciated for this project. 👍
This was an awesome build!
Being a child around 2007, this is how I envisioned the future of all computers. Unfortunately, I was wrong, but it's good that such possibilities exist. Perhaps someday I will build a similar computer like yours.
Im going to city this build exactly. This is what ive wanted to build for my first PC im switching from Mac after 20 years and cant wait.
I have an Rx 6400 with just 1 vent and every build is "it can fit a 4090" but that's not so small lmao, so I was looking for something likr this and this case is amazing, thanks for sharing!
Low key want to build it this looks amazing
The iPad setup was a game changer 🤯 such a compact setup when utilized like that
Nice build Dude, I subscribed to your channel.
I use a Velka 5 with a 4070 in it. Marginal size difference, in love with Velkase. I pair it with a portable 144hz 17inch display. Perfect for me travelling or going to friends playing.
The metalfish z39 is a cpu cooler that performs very similarly to the noctua L9A/i BUT the fan is indeed the heatsink which reduces fan turbulence considerably and makes for a quieter cooler
Very nice and informative video. Thank you.
Honestly HAD no need for a build like this. Looking to travel more and want something more exciting and powerful mainly being portable. With that being said just finished up this exact build! Thank You!!!
Wonder if the gpu could be deshrouded and a different fan used.
Great work! Reminds me of the early optimum tech videos.
Which FPS overlay did you use? It's so clean. Great video and build btw 👍
Incredible build! can you do a stress test?, because the temps are really impressive despite the size.
Really cool build! Please try to deshroud the gpu and see, whether it is quieter with noctua fan! Would be very interesting.
SUBSCRIBED! Love the video! More ITX videos please! Thank you!
DAMN! So good perf and everything!!!
Damnnn. Just found out about you channel, and I'm gonna say this as early as now. You will be big brooo!
Very cool build!
Damn. I built almost the exact same system this summer. But I think this build is even more compact as I chose the Intel A750 GPU (I got an amazing discount on it) I also opted for the Iquinix ZX-1 case which was pretty expensive and was a little more difficult to build with than I anticipated. I had to dremel the case in a couple different places in order to get things to fit.
I recently helped upgrade my roommates K39, also around 3.9L, from Ryzen 3600 + 2070 --> 5600x + 4060 (zotac single fan). Solid little gaming PC.
Dope build 🔥
wow this is great, I wish I could send this back in time to myself - used to travel a lot for work, staying in hotels five nights a week. Pack in a hdmi-to-anything adapter for the hotel televisions and this would have been the greatest of times instead of the most boring ones, damn! :D
Sounds like my lane, I move around ALOT and this would pair perfectly with my current setup and a portable monitor
What a fantastic little fella of a build.
Top. I need to build this! 🔥
This was such a satisfying watch ❤
My kind of built.... Small & yet packing... I loved it! A job well done! 🍻🍻🍻
it ain’t the size of the boat, but the motion of the ocean 😉
@@DgkYogi You've totally lost me with your Zen quote... XD Hahahaha, But I feel ya somehow... 🍻
this would be a killer build to compliment a portable vr setup with a quest 3, awesome stuff
Wonderful build, gg!
I actually need this . I need an upgradd for my laptop ,i like to move around on my house to play games . But I dont really need a laptop since I use an external monitor anyways. Also I go to my friends house to play and this is very useful to show my friends and my brother new games i hsve been playing and stuff
I have this setup but I used a micro atx case. It's a good combo
I dont usually like this small builds because they are usually overly difficult to build but, Man, This one is really cool. Im gonna check out your other builds. This would be a Great on the go gaming/editing/emulation powerhouse! nice.
Just finished putting this exact build together this morning! I LOVE IT
Nice!!
did you have any issues with the ram or cpu? I'm getting LEDs on my motherboard that are preventing me from booting up. The manual for the motherboard says there's something wrong with either my CPU or ram lol
