@@ryoannazuk949 it fits atx psus that strictly adhere to the 150mm length, but it requires some bending away from the mobo and you need to be okay with the psu pressuring the lower end components of the mobo. Not a big deal with strategic soft electrical tape as a buffer but isn’t pretty.

Gosh, I love ITX cases. Right now, however, I really want to do a white build and have fallen in love with the HYTE y60 case. With that, going with a case like this would actually save some money not having to worry to much about the white components or much RGB to make it all flashy. Tempting to save some cash. I do like this case.

How does it work with dust for u? Isnt the all mesh letting a lot of it into the case? I am interested in buying the meshroom S as soon as it is available in Germany, but I am a bit concerned about not having any dust filters in a case.

    • @Valkirth
      @Valkirth Рік тому

    • @yanni-duff

@@Valkirth going for exhaust only creates negative pressure therefore pulling air from everywhere else. Having a positive pressure setup with mostly intake fans is the superior configuration for dust accumulation specifically. Especially if you have dust filters at the intake spots. This is because in the positive pressure setup the air will look to get out from everywhere else (where there are no dust filters).

As someone currently running a Meshlicious with the same cooler (pre rgb but with noctua chromax and phanteks halos) and a Tuf 3080, you can definitely make everything fit with room to spare. One really easy thing is running cpu and gpu cables behind the motherboard before you mount it to save on cable space. You can also shove the sata power connection to the pump behind there too. If you really need more room, you can remove the plastic cage around the AIO pump with a single screw to get more clearance. The pump already has a rubber bushing around it to quiet vibrations. Best of luck with your management!

Love this, been using the meshlicious for a year now no complaints, would love to see how actually 'usuable' the mATX and ATX motherboard options are for this new version.

I've put in an order for the Meshlicious and really trying to understand why everyone is presenting needing a right-angle HDMI cable as such a big problem. From my understanding you can get a new right-angle cable or use the short right-angle cable included and a female to male HDMI adapter to reach your monitor (MUCH cheaper). Building a PC right now and there's so many expensive parts on my order list that getting a new cable/adapter makes a negligible difference.

I’d be air cooling until the upgrade so no need to fit a rad in there and my current rig isn’t very high spec so I don’t think thermals will be bad with and air cooled cpu. I actually think reviewers are giving this case far too much credit…
Cons: 1] If you use and 240 or 280 Rad. You will be exhausting into a negative airflow so this thing will be a huge dust magnet. 2) The tubing for most radiators do not clear the motherboard tray so you will be taking your tubing to the point of kinking. 3) While there is a tray for internal drives there is no way to mount it unless you are using the smallest of GPU’s. Only one usb a port on the top… Two would have been better.
Pro’s: Definitely an interesting small case but not for newbie builders. Anyone using more than a 120 or 140 rad is going to regret it, it will be a dust magnet.

Is there any reason to use an ITX case over an ATX case, besides size? If you have the space, wouldn't it make the most sense to use an ATX case? The more space inside your case equals more air flow and thus cooler components. Am I correct or am I correct?

People go itx because we don’t want a big ass oversized case taking up room on our desk. And if you do it right your temps are fine. I have a 5950x and a 6800 xt in the cool master nr200p max and my temps on cpu are 61c max and GPU is never above 68. So no size don’t always make the difference in airflow.

      Air flow is determined by
      1. Air pressure: created by the amount of space vs air coming in/out.
A bigger case alone doesnt not provide cooler components, its the ability to equip more fans to induce more pressure. An smaller case can use lack of space to increase pressure.
      2. Drag/Resistance: objects that slow or break the airflow: like cables.
In a big case the amount of free space vs the amount of cables/components make this easy for bigger cases. In smaller cases this is hard as cables are harder to organize, and air may be taken in from more directions and be circulated to a central area
So airflow isn't about the size of the case, but about these 2 principles. There was a really bad era where big cases had horrible airflow back in 2016-2018 where manufacturers wanted to sell big glass enclosures, rgb components and psu shrouds. The combination of glass on 3 sides choked out the rgb fans and the psu shroud partially blocked off the front radiator, some cases even had small feet so psu's were low to the ground.
However the o11 case design became very popular as it was a big glass case with good airflow. Bottom fans using the concept of heat rises, side intake which fixed the problem of having front glass and psu on the back which fixed the psu shroud problem.
Now as the 30 series graphics cards produce enormous amounts of heat, cases are returning back to airflow designs, such as mesh

@@animegeek6118 Agreed with you. I have both, the NR200 and Meshlicious and with proper setup, the temps differences compared to full tower isn't much

Never have really cared for tge xbox style itx cases. I have an a4h2o from dan/lian li and I really like it. Temperatures are surprisingly good in mine. I have the EK Basic 240 aio, r5 5600x, ROG Strix 3060 ti. My gpu stays around 64C, cpu about 70C under load. The fans are a bit loud, just haven't gotten around to swapping them out with noctuas yet.

Temps are not bad at all if you put a the tempered glass on the mobo side…actually it improves gpu temps a bit…

If you had a poor quality psu it "could" get hot. I used a thermaltake 850 in mine and it never ran hot, I eventually swapped to a 850 sfx (cause the full size was ruining riser cables). PSU barely puts out ANY heat, and if you have a AIO there is absolutly no reason to not have the glass panel on the cpu side. Your cpu and gpu temps will literally not change at all, I have run it without and with the glass panel.
Also meshlicious gives 3d printed direction for feet for the case, I just bought a set for like 7 bucks and run 4 cables from my gpu with no problem.

Missed a trick not throwing 2x 280mm rads in and going full custom loop.
You’ll easily see coolant temps of ~40c under heavy workloads here.

Best ITX which is unfortunately discontinued is the NCASE M1 Version 6.1.
Am selling it in the UK London.

I do have a 280mm (DeepCool 280EX) in my white Meshlicious (with the fan's in the front). I'd love to replace it with a white 280mm that is better, but I don't think something like that exists. I replaced the Sapphire Vega 56 Nitro+ LE with the 6900xt Nitro+, and it with tricky fitting it in there. It would be interesting to put an ATX motherboard in the Meshroom.

They picked a rather cumbersome abbreviation even though it...fits.
