I think I have watched all of your videos, on this channel and on the old one. This videos is certainly the best one. I wouldn’t know weather I was watching your video or a Lionel Trains catalog. What a beautiful country the USA was, just looking forward to having more progress and well-being. What a forever gone era, when men had balls and women didn’t
Wow, memories. When I was growing up, I remember the old, still open, Railroad depot around the corner from our house. Its been torn down now for 40 years. I also remember my mother complaining about all the soot that was all over her freshly washed clothes that were hanging on the clothes line!
There are times I wish I had taken up my superintendents offer to train me to become a steam qualified engineer. He was one of few who still were back in the early 2000’s. There’s just something more exhilarating about running a steam locomotive compared to a diesel locomotive.
Another interesting item is that when you flushed the toilet on a passenger train in the forties, fifties and before the waste went directly onto the tracks.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this site! Music is totally awesome... Thank you

I really enjoyed this video! As a train lover, I've never seen these pictures before. thank you so much for doing this!
I'm surprised, no photos of Baltimore rail line, being that it was part of the B&O railroad. Awesome photos anyhoot. 👌
The photo "looking north along the Monongahela" is actually looking south. Also it's Grand Central TERMINAL; Grand Central Station is a post office.

*_I miss your old channel. It really struck a nerve with me._*
At 3:45, it's either Las Vegas or Reno. Howard Cannon was elected to the US Senate from Nevada that year.
Great pictures But you missed “the horseshoe curve” Altona pa and the Nicholson Viaduct in Nicholson Pa
Great video thanks for sharing.

GREAT ONE!
At the 3.10 mark you see the inside of a BMT Triplex subway car in NYC. It ended service in 1965 replaced by stainless steel subway trains.
