    As a dancer trying to improve my ankle and calf strength, this is what I do pretty much every night. Before I even found this video, I was doing some of these workouts. It totally works. Great video!

    I do this work out routine everyday ,10 minutes in morning and 10 minutes afternoon.
    My calves gain massive muscle .

      @@teqqez5463 Doing this working every second, third, or even 4th day is way more then enough. Your calves aren’t a muscle that you need to overly workout.

      00bikeboy pretty much every other day. And I've been doing it since and have added a few inches. Went from chicken legs to very solid

    First Day Nothing.
    Second day started feeling pain on my muscles.
    Third Day Feel that muscles are burning
    Fourth Day Barely even walking
    Fifth Day Finally that burn is going away.
    Sixth day almost back to normal.
    This workout is fire !

      You shouldn't feel like that. If this is your first time doing calf exercises, then you should only minimize it because your muscles need to adjust.
      You should feel DOMS(pain a day after exercising) but it shouldn't be that bad that you can't walk.

      This was great, thanks, I have been researching "mma home workouts" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Qiyictoria Teyrooklyn Eradicator - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.

      @@beastboy2345 Idk man. It's hard to say. Just do it and do it consistently. After a month or 2, I would say start progressively adding load like carry a 45lb weight. Also, another thing that I found to be helpful is doing hill sprints, walking up steep hills and carry 35lb-50lb on your back for at least 5 miles (essentially "rucking"). Keep in mind that genetics is a factor too. The overall goal should be health and fitness. So focus on proper nutrition, function fitness and sleep. If you do all the above--CONSISTENTLY, you'll see GREAT results. It may not be in 3 months, or even 6! It may take up to a good year, year and a half of dedicated work...but you'll get the results man.

      @@luffybaka9679 In my personal experience, no. It just gives you a good pump. If anything, it feels like you're walking on air afterwards. I will say however, that the first few times you do it, the next day is gonna suck for recovery. So make sure you get a good (dynamic) calf stretch before and after you do it; perform a couple of static stretches several times throughout the day, and make sure you roll the muscle to offset the muscle soreness.
      Do it, and you'll see man

    It’s been 2 days since I used this calf exercise and my calves have never been as sore as they are today I can barely walk! This works better than any of the calf training methods I have used in the gym, just crazy man

      I did 3 set of 30. 30 second slow reps. Feet inward, straight, and outward. I did it not making sure my heels never touch the floor each calf raise. I woke up kinda sore the next day but the day after that...I was like 😫.
      Tip: Consume lots of protein like milk, eggs, eggnot, etc. Your calves will recover faster.

    DO NOT underestimate this workout. I didn't properly warm up and now a couple days later I'm in bed and unable to walk 🤣 Great workout though, I will definitely continue once I've fully recoverd!

    Holy God. This DESTROYED my legs. Been using Bret Contreras programs for building glutes (love his book!!) but felt like my calves needed more attention. Not only did this address my calves, it also pummeled the stubborn saddlebags area that is so challenging to target. The burn runs all the way up your legs! Awesome!

      @@rickstalentedtongue910 can genuinely do it 5 to 6 days a week if you want since calves heal quicker than other muscles. Ive just started of doing 4 a week and will increase in a weeks time

    Have been using this video for a year. I have what they call "Bad calf genetics". So far have gone from 15 and a half inches to 16 and a half. Started using dumbells with it and playing the video through 2-3 times a session. Thanks so much for uploading this!

      Hey - sorry - bit of a delayed response :/ I don't use this account much. But yeah this is still my go-to calves routine. I think it's been about a year and a half now..maybe more. I did measure them at 17inches after a workout about 3 months ago... I probably do the routine about 1-2 times a week. I'm holding 25lb dumbells now and following this same routine. Main difference now is that my calves feel stronger after a workout, rather than debilitating for days afterwards.

      I been here months ago and I am 17 years old and this workout really works. I had done this for 2 weeks with no dumbbells, 2 1/2 months with 15 pound dumbbells for 2 months and another 2 months for today with 20 pounds. 20 pound is very difficult still but I am starting to get a hang of it 😂

    I entered in the fitness world for a bit now (5 months I think?) and, being fourteen, I didn't know you also had to train the calves as you train arms or chest! This is the best workout

      Don’t try to do it two times in a row, you can just do it one in the early afternoon and the other at 5 hours later, you won’t make changes idiot. Instead of doing two times a row, just use dumbbells and you will see changes (only one time though)

    Beginner here, DO NOT DO THIS WORKOUT WITHOUT WARMING UP COMPLETELY, I have done these for 2 days, ran for 5km both days, and when I came back from running on day 2, I have got such a massive soreness and pain in both of my calves. Every slight movement that I took doubled that pain and made me lay in my bed whole 3rd day. Now is day 4 and after some stretching I can finally stand up (hurts though) and walk.

    My calves has been my nemesis!! I've done every exercise in the book and . . . NOTHING!! , then I came to this your video and of course I gave it a try . . . . . OMG !!!! Yesss, yesss, yessss !!!! This really work !!! Since the first moment I really feel the work on my calves muscles !!! FINALLY AFTER YEARS OF TRYING !! Thanks a million !!! My calves are really growing little by little, but I can see the difference. I use a 10 pound weight for more challenge!!! DAmn !!!

    Years, and years later, I came back to this workout. Little did I know that calves actually benefit from high reps more than low reps. I also rehabed my foot injury doing this. Thank you Corey if you're reading this.

    First time doing this workout: didn't feel any soreness
    Waking up in the morning: i feel a little soreness
    Then the day after, i feel extreme pain especially in my upper calfs, i could not walk properly im walking like a newly circumsized kid.. True story

    By far my favourite go to calf workout. Crazy pump after the first set. Second set challenges my stamina and the third challenges my will! Bittersweet, awesome.

    HOLY COW..this is challenging..my muscular endurance for this is low!near instant lactic acid. So many advantages to be had tho..strength, endurance, size and shape, increased flexibility in feet and ankles, indirect effect and increased metabolism..ALL worth the effort!     Thanks so much for this amazing routine. I tried it and immediately included it into my calf training program. So few people know how important well trained calfes and feet are for athletic performance and smooth movement. Additional tip: Train tibialis muscle too 💪 😎

      @@cth38881 ....lol...i danced for many years...now here is the funny part...my ballet teacher would give us stuff like this to do...and we would TRY... to collapse in pain...like you were doing...lol.....then the DRILL SARGEANT in him would come out...STAND UP STRAIGHT...WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU...PUT A PLEASANT SMILE ON YOUR FACE......DONT LEAN...WHY ARE YOU BENDING OVER....and my personal favorite....YOU ARE NOT AT THE BARROOM.....LOL....STAND WITH YOUR LEGS IN CLOSED 5th POSITION...YOU ARE DANCERS...SMILE...and we...WOULD DO IT...and he would make us HOLD IT ...for about a minute...then he would let us RELEASE...and we would just ...DIE....LOL.....but it worked ..i would get plenty of jobs based off of my STAMINA....AND DEPORTMENT....i was the only guy in a class full of girls...he was TOUGH...but he would see me in music videos and commercials when i became grown...and he was ...SO PROUD OF ME....GOD BLESS MR GIACOBBE...AND GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR WIFE TOO....you brought back a lot of great memories...lol...when my body was very...very...young...and i will let you know how my calves respond to your workout plan...

    trying out this workout. will come back with an update on how big my calves get. currently calves are at 14.1 inches i have horrible genetics, my dad been working out his whole life and cant get his calves and forearms to grow and i unfortunately have the same problem so hopefully this works

    I felt it's a lot, I do similar calfworkouts in my daily workout, I don't have wait so I just kind of made something up. I definitely felt it I think if I didn't already do those in my regular work out I would have probably given out. I'm not able to join a gym due to a jealous boyfriend, but that's another story. So thank you so much for showing a calf workout where you don't have to have equipment. I do have some dumbbell weights that I use but other than that no access to equipment. And my arms and abs are so much more toned than my legs, even though I walk an hour a day and jog for 10 minutes and do leg workouts that I either found online or made up. Maybe this will help then even out. I found another video from my thighs, this is my favorite for calfs so far thank you so much for posting!

    Okay. Im a dancer and yes this is done in classes. But slightly differntly. For one, speed. Your "slow" ones are about the speed of our fast ones, and also we dont rest our heels in the slow ones.

      I am 63 and get them 3x times with no issues at all, no cheating. My calves had always been my best muscles though.

    My advice to anyone currently training with weights for calves and not getting results, do these instead and you will. There is a reason why many people tend to lack in legs, lats, and calves. It's because to grow them, you have to obliterate them with weights to hit them deep enough to spark growth. They are the hardest to grow and it takes a lot of mental power to hit them hard enough. For example, 5 types of pulldowns for your back workout, won't make your back both wide and dense. You need to get real and add heavy movements like rows and deadlifts or you simply won't grow complete lats. Many just don't have the energy to do that. But calves may be the worst of the three. Your calves unilaterally push your bodyweight all day when you walk. They are bored to death. The only way to grow them is to hit them to where they burn DEEP and you may have trouble walking. You have to achieve true failure. Most simply do not put that kind of effort into weights because you have to move so much for so long to properly do it. If you did it properly they would really grow. Since you probably aren't, the next best thing is bodyweight burnouts like this one. I grew my calves an extra inch this year with bodyweight burnouts and little else for calves, and mine were already pretty developed. Because you are really hitting them deep and it shocks them into growth. This one right here is excellent as a finisher for experienced trainers, or a standalone if you are new to destroying calves. Do it twice and it's truly nasty as a calf workout for anyone and you're out in ten minutes. Don't let your ego make you stick with what isn't working.

    DAY 1 : I did this 3 times in a row and yeah it burns and hurts... BUT, my calfs are actually so mellow that i need to do this 3x week to make them stronger! Wish me like guys :D
    DAY 4 : I am still feeling it and it bloody hurts when i stand up! Just one workout and i am dead for 4 days? I am unable to do this 3x week no foking way!

      Your body gets used to it if you keep exercising regularly so soon you might only get a little sore or not sore at all. However once you start seeing gains you’ll need to increase the workload so you can do more rounds or reps, keep going👊

      Tbessix220 try to get a full range of motion, get a block or a platform that is elevated and half the bottom half of your foot hanging off of it and do the same exercises. That produces more results and I wouldn't recommend going quick like he does. Fully extend the calf muscle and make sure there is a good amount of tension. If you want to gain even more muscle, hold Dumbbells in your hand will doing this

      Don't let your calves touch the ground, you need to keep the calves under tension, and if you want to make it harder, go slower down. Its the overload on the calves that builds the mass. Calves are used to being used to normally push up, but not to a sustained weighted eccentric overload.

      I also started this today😂 But in my opinion this is not hard. I mean maybe Im doing something wrong. But maybe it is because before of this I die 3 Sets of 80 reps of tiptoeing up and down. With this workout my calves feel different. Idk😂 I Think I will do this and 30 reps of tiptoeing added

    Genius, hilarious and works amazingly well! I'm with you. My ex was a modern ballet dancer in New York and she and all the other dancers, especially the guys, had perfectly sculpted muscular legs with nice booties, thick thighs and ripped calves. I never thought to actually do some of their exercises for myself until watching this. Going to start doing regularly. Thanks for the workout!

    I tried it I literally couldn’t take 3 steps after the whole workout
