Every slight movement that I took doubled that pain and made me lay in my bed whole 3rd day. Now is day 4 and after some stretching I can finally stand up (hurts though) and walk.

This wont build mass. Here is why: Everytime he does a rep he rests his heel on the ground and therefore loses the time under tension that calves need to grow. Also your calves are so used to high reps as you use them every time you take a step. Just getting a burn in your calves wont grow them. In order to grow calves you need weight resistant training and time under tension which this video has none of. Guys, don't be misled. This workout with indeed get you a burning sensation in your calves but is completely ineffective in actually growing your calf size.
Exaclty also overtime (weeks) your calves will adapt and will no longer grow... which is when progressive overload should be applied. Without progressive overload you're wasting your time.
Ok so then just don't rest at the bottom and do fast reps instead the fuck. And for progressive overload grab a dumbell and up the weight each week. Done. As long as you're eating right, it's gonna fucking grow.
This workout was a killer!!! Been looking for a great calf workout that could Smoke my calves, especially now that our gyms are closed. This smoked me Proper!!! Gonna add this to my routine, even after the gyms open again... thanks for this Bro 👍🏻👊🏻
@@22lab575 I've been doing it 4-5 times a week and within 2 weeks they're much bigger. VERY visible difference- I'm so mindblown. I haven't even increased my diet that much and it literally still showed difference
HOLY COW..this is challenging..my muscular endurance for this is low!near instant lactic acid. So many advantages to be had tho..strength, endurance, size and shape, increased flexibility in feet and ankles, indirect effect and increased metabolism..ALL worth the effort! Thanks Corey, for sharing.
Tbessix220 try to get a full range of motion, get a block or a platform that is elevated and half the bottom half of your foot hanging off of it and do the same exercises. That produces more results and I wouldn't recommend going quick like he does. Fully extend the calf muscle and make sure there is a good amount of tension. If you want to gain even more muscle, hold Dumbbells in your hand will doing this
Don't let your calves touch the ground, you need to keep the calves under tension, and if you want to make it harder, go slower down. Its the overload on the calves that builds the mass. Calves are used to being used to normally push up, but not to a sustained weighted eccentric overload.
Genius, hilarious and works amazingly well! I'm with you. Does this actually make your calves bigger or it just makes them look sharper and more definded
both
Awesome Calf Workout. Thank You. Hope you are still staying in shape. Thanks again.
Woow it really hurts, but i can say this is one of the best calves work out i've ever done. Thanks Corey.
Listen to this man right here people
Exaclty also overtime (weeks) your calves will adapt and will no longer grow... which is when progressive overload should be applied. Without progressive overload you're wasting your time.
I agree
Ok so then just don't rest at the bottom and do fast reps instead the fuck. And for progressive overload grab a dumbell and up the weight each week. Done. As long as you're eating right, it's gonna fucking grow.
Svere Style exaclty, the dude in the video is saying the exact opposite...
I am going to do this for 30 days, wish me luck
Twice in the morning and twice in the evening, and yes i have chicken legs
Good luck bro, keep us updated 👍

This workout was a killer!!! Been looking for a great calf workout that could Smoke my calves, especially now that our gyms are closed. This smoked me Proper!!! Gonna add this to my routine, even after the gyms open again... thanks for this Bro 👍🏻👊🏻
Wow the burn is real….. I will continue with this to help build up my leg muscles thanks for sharing ❤
Is it ok to hold something for balance while doing this
Yeah of course but your heels need to to be close to the ground
Corey, do you recommend that we do these every day, or every other day with a day of rest in between?
Great question. I’ll wait patiently too for the answer 😊
@@philipjames751 he posted this in 2016, he ain't answering buddy

Sheesh, this is my calf routine every single day added up with my 200 push ups 😤🚶🏽♂️
did you see results of this calv exercise?
Can you train calves everyday?
overtraining. no progress. sadlife.
@@22lab575 I've been doing it 4-5 times a week and within 2 weeks they're much bigger. VERY visible difference- I'm so mindblown. I haven't even increased my diet that much and it literally still showed difference
Ok did 1 round and allready burned. Ill wait for legday to perform more rounds 😄
Wow!!!! This is the BEST most effective calves workout! Thanks so much for posting! Great instant results with first set! Namaste 😃
HOLY COW..this is challenging..my muscular endurance for this is low!near instant lactic acid. So many advantages to be had tho..strength, endurance, size and shape, increased flexibility in feet and ankles, indirect effect and increased metabolism..ALL worth the effort! Thanks Corey, for sharing.
that was sick I could not walk for 3days
No way

I’m walking like a penguin after this wow
What a real workout! My calves are really really sore and I did this exercise 2 days ago!!
My calves are on FIRE bro. So simple, extremely effective. Thanks man !
I just tried it! i feel pretty sore but i don't if that will add mass to the calves ?
Tbessix220 try to get a full range of motion, get a block or a platform that is elevated and half the bottom half of your foot hanging off of it and do the same exercises. That produces more results and I wouldn't recommend going quick like he does. Fully extend the calf muscle and make sure there is a good amount of tension. If you want to gain even more muscle, hold Dumbbells in your hand will doing this
VenomousGamer yes i mostly do this with dumbbells, i'm seeing some progress but it's not enough.. i'm pretty tall and my calves still look skinny
Don't let your calves touch the ground, you need to keep the calves under tension, and if you want to make it harder, go slower down. Its the overload on the calves that builds the mass. Calves are used to being used to normally push up, but not to a sustained weighted eccentric overload.
Jacob Reynolds Thanks man, i'll try this
Tbessix220 add some weights while you do it
Couldn’t walk for 2 days after I did this lol
This dude ain’t lying, I could barely walk for like 3 days after doing 4 sets of these, great workout
Genius, hilarious and works amazingly well! I'm with you. My ex was a modern ballet dancer in New York and she and all the other dancers, especially the guys, had perfectly sculpted muscular legs with nice booties, thick thighs and ripped calves. I never thought to actually do some of their exercises for myself until watching this. Going to start doing regularly. Thanks for the workout!
Just got out of bed and I can’t walk
Mak H same man I thought it’s just me
I wasnt sore at all
Guys this work, done it only 5 days and muscle is already showing. Great workout!
