- JP walks us through everything that's included with the purchase of the Radium PCV Plate for the Ford Eco-Boost motors, including the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST, 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS, and the 2015+ Ford Mustang 2.3L Ecoboost. This also fits many other applications including the Mazdaspeed 3 and Mazdaspeed 6 but does not feature a bolt on kit for those. The plate will need to be used with the fittings and hosing of your choice.

BNR's turbo install instructuions say not to use this check valve, but it doesnt say why. Any advice?
Get the Mountune RS plate (the newer black one) it has a labyrinth instead of baffles
I’m running the baffle plate and both catch cans. I will say the ccv one doesn’t really catch much like the pcv one. Not sure I would say spend the money for it. The pcv one for sure has helped a lot! Just my opinion
So this should help with idle smoke from increase pressure unlike the stock believe?
Will this work with the JLT Catch cans ?
Hello @Edge Autosport. Nice video very informative. Is this compatible with Ford Explorer 2.0 ecoboost? I was trying to locate the pcv valve and no idea where it is located.
It should be he same! They plate is UNDER the intake manifold, removing it would be required to see and install it.
Can you explain how the routing of a dual catch can set up would fit into the pcv? As in radiums dual catch set up plus this plate? Also have a CFM VTA breather oil cap. Thanks!
There are multiple ways to do it, but here's how we have our Focus ST setup with dual cans. PCV port to sealed can to intake manifold AND second PCV port to vented can to valve cover vent with a check valve in between plate and vented can so it doesn't intake during vacuum. If you maintain the use of the breather cap, you wouldn't have to have a line from the vented can to the valve cover. But I like the idea of using the can so that vapors actually collect and don't fume out the valve cover area.
Okay I do have the UPR dual catchcan setup now. Gutted PCV. So I understand I'll replace the gutted PCV with this but what do I hookup to the left side port if I am still using my upr dual catchcan setup?
You can simply plug it with a threaded plug as we did in our more recent PCV plate install video: ua-cam.com/video/1SPyOfYBCnc/v-deo.html - you can use yet another catch can on this extra spot if the crankcase pressure is especially high (larger turbo)
Can you use this on a stock turbo but 93 tune from A. Jackson.
I’m running both catch cans from Radium also. But I want to install this PCV plate.
I plan to go big turbo but I want to add the PCV Baffle Plate before the big turbo.
Would you recommend to add it?
Yeah, its a great piece that both cleans up all that hose, and improves the design of the PCV plate!
Will this help reduce blow by and carbon build up on the valves on a stockish/mild build?
This alone doesn't help with that. But a catch can will, which is used in conjunction with this. This just allows you to run a more complete catch can setup.
Can y’all answer something. Are the oil pumps internal on these cars?
Yes.
So the valve has a built it check valve in it? I only ask due to the fact that I am currently running a gutted PCV valve to the UPR DV catch can.
Primarily want to purchase this as I have a CEL on due to the gutted PCV. heard this product can alleviate that issue.
Many thanks,
Correct. The PCV valve is a check valve. If you gutted it out and changed nothing else, you have a massive boost leak going straight into the crank case. You HAVE to use a check valve of some sort if your intake manifold is connected to the crank case, even if you have a catch can in between.
Hi I was wondering what your cell is? I currently have a crankcase ventilation cell, and a manifold air leak after I gutted my pcv. I can't seem to fix and its driving me insane.
Do catch cans help protect the motor in any way other than reducing the amount of oil/fuel going to the combustion chamber?
Blocking the oil vapors from going to the engine is sort of leading to the protection of the engine. Those oil vapors and blowby create a lower octane, which potentially creates knock and detonation. So that is the protection. I would say the other benefit is not allowing the blowby to buildup on the valves over time, which helps maintain performance and also helps with the issue mentioned already.
I guess Im asking randomly but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Jayden Darwin instablaster ;)
@Asher William i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Asher William it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
Does the oem plate fit on catch cans?
If you're asking if you can use a catch can with an OEM plate, yes, you can still do that.
can I adapt Damond OCC to this plate?
Absolutely. If you can adapt the Damond to the stock PCV plate, you can do it to this one. It's made to mimic the stock version but with added functionality for better baffling and an option to add a second catch can setup.
I’m really scared of those baffle plate screws falling into the engine from vibration
Although I see your point, I don't believe we've heard anyone having that experience. I suppose you can use some threadlocker if you're worried.
The radium instructions say to use thread locker on them. I used loctite red. I don't think they'll fall off.
100%. The Mountune kit uses big boy screws. I wish someone sold a one piece milled kit. I’d gladly pay twice the price.
