Virtue signaling as a political rallying point call to collect power. Then the kind of laws passed can migrate into other areas more generally authoritarian.
I support transgender people having the same individual rights, liberties, and safety that the U.S. Constitution and laws provide to everyone else in this country. Also, I support constructive efforts to eliminate crimes against transgender people; as well as discrimination in housing, employment, public accommodations, education, and health care, etc.. I think it's productive to have an across-the-isle conversation from all sides where everyone can present their information. In my view, a healthy society will facilitate equitable opportunities for all citizens to thrive; without oppressing, canceling, marginalizing, and retaliating against some people. Maybe each of us can model the type of behavior that we expect and encourage from others. I'm okay with people expressing themselves on their own terms as long as it doesn't encroach on my rights. While I enjoy associating with queer people, sadly a number of transgender activists are turning into the very monsters they are fighting against. I like transgender people, however, I don't like some aspects of the transgender activist’s ideology - cancel culture and oppression. It seems to be an authoritarian and tyrannical culture of one-way streets where inclusion, tolerance, and diversity are expected, yet not reciprocated. A few years ago, members of the gay community were successful in moving the Overton window by receiving overall public acceptance. Perhaps transgender activists might adopt a few of their ideas.
@JennyLovesWillRiker Fair enough. I support one’s prerogative to disregard a poster’s comments for whatever reasons. My intention was to submit an “opinion” rather than a “claim,” which is reasonable to further a discussion. Not all opinions have evidence, nor can they. In my view, an opinion is an unsupported statement based on one’s idea, perspective, experience, judgment, a hunch, thoughts, or parroting another’s viewpoint, etc.. However, a claim is an assertion that can be supported by facts. The claimant is responsible to provide sufficient evidence, otherwise it's merely an unsupported opinion. While you have disregarded my comment, others might find it useful. Best wishes.
So many fantastic points, all the way through! Thank you for this important video, and may the folks hoodwinked into anti trans nonsense be graced with reason, and freedom from their new religion
@@NewmericaindustriesYou might as well go cry to jesus about it, because the christians say the SAME thing.🤡 Also, you clearly don't understand what "Woke" actually means, but the loudest ones screaming "Woke" are usually the dumbest, most misinformed & out of touch .🤡🤣

A religious--theological worldview deifies authority.
Legislation "passed to solve problems that don't exist" as an avenue to greater power.
Focusing on minority majority opinions is really not science.
It’s just the woke religion
